I have something for you to try.
What did you use for project preset? I am assuming PAL AVCHD Full HD1080i25 since there is no DSLR 1080p setting in version 8.0/8.0.1.
(Did you say what the recorder is offering in the way of video compression to go along with the .mp4 container format?)
Take that Timeline and export it to a file saved to the computer hard drive.
Share/Mobile Phones and Players/Apple iPd and iPhone/and preset = iPod and iPhone - High Quality.
Under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of that preset, have your Export Settings look as follows:
Then upload that file (H.264.mp4) to You Tube at the YouTube web site. What is the quality of the uploaded video?
We will be watching for the results.
Thanks.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 - Audio issues

    Hello everyone,
First of all I would like to apologize for my pretty weak english.
I've been using Premiere CS6 for a while and I've never encountered any major issue that couldn't be fix... until now.
I'm working on a project that has several audio tracks, I've just finished my editing and I was going to export an aaf/omf for the audio. However when I loaded  my project, everything seemed to be fine, my playback was smooth and working well, all my clips and audio tracks were present in my timeline but there wasn't any audio being played.
The audio meters don't react, I don't have any effects on my audio tracks, there isn't anything muted and when I click on the audio tracks, the audio waveform is in red and is represented as a line.. Here is a screenshot :
When I relink to the original audio tracks, It doesn't fix the issue. The only way to make it works is to re import the tracks, and to drag'n'drop them into my timeline. In some way, i'll have to redo ALL the audio work and that's pretty tiresome.. (especially for the audio that is linked to video..)
The AAF fails (It tells me that It can't export audio clips that are linked to video clips..). OMF export works, it weights 800ish mo but it's empty...
Thanks in advance to anyone that could save my time on this issue.
Have a nice day/night to everyone.

  • Adobe premiere elements 10 audio sync bug (mpeg2)

    Hi
Right im trying out diffrent video editing software and reviewing them. There is an annoying bug or flaw when it comes to importing mpeg2 files. The audio track becomes delayed about 1 sek after a while, its synced in the beginning and the get out of sync at the end of the clip. I tried the same mpeg2-files on other video editors including: Pinnacle studio, Vegas, Corel Studio, Cyberlink Powerdirector and the audio is perfectly synced all the way.
So, obviously its a problem/bug related to Adobe. I remember I had similar problems with Premiere pro and compressed videos, audio tracks dissapearing etc.
Im gonna try the trial for Premiere Pro to see if it has the same problem as elements.
Besides this, I kind of liked the interface and workflow in the program. So its bad that it cant handle a common compressed format such as mpeg2 that all other popular editors out there can.
    Kind Regards,
    Jonas

Well, with licensed modules, like CODEC's, and plug-ins, it is often just an "activation" issue. Rather than for the NLE company, whether CyberLink, Magix, Adobe, et al, to just give the fee to the licensing agent (say MPEG-LA) for every copy of the program, whether trial, or full-price, they limit the trial versions, and then with their full-paid version, the user will activate that module, and this normally happens transparently. When the module gets activated, the licensing organization gets notice, and then back-charges the NLE software company.
This sort of thing was carried to the extreme with the Pinnacle Studio programs, where "samples" of every conceivable module was included in the program. However, those were just previews, and could not be used, until the user contacted Pinnacle, and then bought an unlock code for each module (often sold in packages). The program cost around US $ 100, but to unlock all modules, it would cost about US $ 500 additional. As there was nothing but unlock keys, the user had to guard those well - no discs, or media. Also, Pinnacle did a fair job of keeping records of users' keys, though some did get lost over time. Also, keys did not always work version to version, so an upgrade could render key purchases useless.
With the DD 5.1 SS Minnetonka Audio SurCode plug-in for PrPro, things are slightly different. Adobe includes a limited version of that encoder plug-in - the user gets three trials of it. To activate the plug-in, beyond those three uses, the user must buy the key from Minnetonka, and it's now about US $ 300. Most of that cost goes to Dolby Labs, and in this case, Minnetonka just sort of is the "banker," sending the $ to Dolby, when they SELL that plug-in key.
Different companies handle "trials" differently. Some, like the Minnetonka SurCode, give limited, unencumbered uses. Some limit by time, and give unencumbered use, during that time. Some use a watermark, or similar, until the user buys it, and then the watermarks are uncoupled. Some just limit the features in the trial, and those limitations are lifted, when one buys. There are pluses and minuses to each scheme. However, each is designed to let a user try something, and no royalties are paid, until they buy it.

Perfecto, 5 minutos y listo.
Abro el Premiere, proyecto nuevo (DvPal - 48 Khz..), F5 y capturo dichas imagenes.
Perfecto, 0 frames perdidos, captura ok.

  • Adobe Premiere CS6 degrading audio quality

Hello everyone.  I am new to video editing but have been learning very fast.  However, I am having an issue that I can't seem to find an answer to.
When I import anything into Premiere, the audio quality gets noticably muffled.  I have tried exporting at the highest quality settings, but I don't think that's the problem becuase it sounds muffled in the playback in Premiere itself.
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Thanks so much!

  • Adobe premiere pro cs4 audio issue.

Whenever I import a full movie i.e Predator, Halloween 2, Total Recal, the video is fine but the audio is missplaced and doesnt import the full audio that comes with the video.  It starts playing the audio but is heavily out of sync and only imports a certain amount of the audio with still a fair huge amount of audio missing.
Thanks for reading and if anyone could help then it will be much appreciated

    Welcome to the forum.
This is common with muxed MPEG source files, like from VOB's. Also, there could well be copy protection on those commercial titles, that will mess things up too. I will not get into the © issues here. This ARTICLE will give you some background on VOB's, and make suggestions for ways to address their Import.

  • How to fix audio  of a video captured from DV output of camcorder using Adobe Premiere Elements 8?

    Hello,
I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 8 about one week ago.  I installed it and everything seem to work well in my first project.  I am new at editing videos but I was succesful in testing it by loading an existing video file in avi format from my computer and then doing some very basic editing (I splitted 2 scenes and added a title).
After my first succesful project (described above) I started a brand new project. Here, I want to capture a one hour video  from the dv output of a video camera. So I connected the camera to the PC and then started adobe elements 8.  Before starting the capture I only checked the boxes that said "capture video" and "capture audio" (the other 2 boxes that said download to timeline and autoanalyze were left unchecked).  After that I started the capture process.
After the video capture was completed, a small window opened at the bottom saying that a PEAK FILE was being generated.    After the peak file generation finished, I looked at the captured video.  The video looked perfect.  However the audio of the video was too fast. By this, I mean that the voices of the people in the movie were like they were speaking at more than twice the normal speed.  Or to explain it in a different way, they sounded like the  chipmunks.
So now I come to the question of this thread I started.  Is there a way that I can fix the audio part of the video I captured?  I will appreciate any help on this. Below I listed a few additional details in case this is needed.
    Thanks,
    ronel_8
PS.  Here are some more details about my system:
    1) Operating System: Windows XP
    2) I am capturing the video on an external drive with 40 GB of available space. The external drive is connected to a PC via a USB connection.
    3) Computer CPU: 2.4 GHZ
    4) Computer RAM: 1.25 GB
    5) Video tape is about one hour long.

    Hello Bill and Steve,
Your responses are very helpful.  Although I was not able to fix the problem yet I do seem to think from what you both say that my system may be too slow to capture the one hour video. In any case I will copy below more details about the system as you requested:
    1) Results from running Gspot:
The audio section of the Gspot window was blank. That is, no information was there.  The File and Container sections say:
    File Size: 12.6 GB
Note: 7.63 GB unneeded bytes at the end of the file
    DV Type1 AVI
    2) I did run the Gspot on another good avi file (captured to the PC with same camcorder) and says:
    Codec PCM Audio
    32kHz 1024 kb/s tot (2 chnls).
I suppose these are the audio settings from the camera.
    3) Yes, I am capturing video from a miniDV camcorder (JVC GR-D70U).
    4) I did not defragment the external drive prior to capturing the video with the audi problem.  So I will give that I try and see if it solves the problem.
    5) The external drive I am using is formatted to NTFS.
    6) The computer is a Dell Dimension 2400, CPU: 2.4 GHZ, RAM: 1.25 GB
    7) HDD Size=74GB and 11 GB of free space.  But I am downloading video to external drive that has 60 GB free space.
One last piece of information that may be useful.  If I open the AVI file (that I captured with Adobe Premiere Elements) with Windows Media Player, the audi sounds good.  However if I open it with Adobe it has the problem I mentioned in my previous e-mail.
    I'll aprreciate any further hints.
    Thanks again,
    ronel_8

  • Adobe premiere elements 10  Quality and audio issues

Im using adobe premiere elements 10 and im trying to edit my videos that i got form the elgato ive allays had no problems until two days ago when i import a video to work on it the quality goes to **** and the audio gets messed up  and i when i check the video on elgato its perfect  so something is going wrong and i need your help to fix it.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 running? And, what video card/graphics card does this computer use? NVIDIA GeForce?
If so, stop and let us know.
From what I have read, if you are using Elgato Video Capture, you are probably working on a Mac computer capturing H.264 or MPEG-4 640 x 480 with AAC audio. Is that correct? If so, what is the file extension of the capture that you put on the Premiere Elements 10 Mac Timeline?
Have you changed any of the default settings for Elgato Video Capture under its preferences?
How does this recent bad video's properties compare with others from the good video with which you had no problems?
What is the project preset that you are setting in either case?
Can you still bring the "good" Elgato captures into a Premiere Elements 10 Mac project and  they are still "good" while the recent ones on that
same Timeline look not so good?

  • Audio Dropout Adobe premiere pro cc(2014) "adobe player"

I'm having the following problems with my adobe premiere pr cc 2014. I'm in the middle of a big documentary for Dutch Television. Because of the really buggy adobe premiere I can't work. The director gets frustrated and we can't work fast. I need to restart frequently but still the problem persist. Whenever I hit the space button to play I get audio dropouts and the software freezes and doesn't work well.
-Audio dropouts, they happen randomly and quite often. It happens on a relatively powerful macbook pro r (2.7 ghz i7, 16gb ram, ssd hard drive, usb 3.0 external hd.
    - Bins take ages to load with thumbnails. Instead we see the grey square. It keeps on happening throughout the editing session.
    - Multicam, when playing timeline, sometimes it doesn't stop when prompted and it keeps on playing for a random amount of time.
I really need help. I can't seem to find the previous version of adobe anymore. Can I please have the previous version and can you convert my current project to work with the previous version.  Help me please,  Help me please!!, Adobe help. Help your client!Mitch W@

Hey Mitch, Thanx for your reply.
I don't it's false. The reason for that is whenever I get that "audio dropout" event, adobe reacts really slow and I can't edit fluently.
I've been busy the whole day trying to figure out what the problem is. I contacted adobe support and the remotely accessed my computer and see for themselves.
We opened the activity monitor to see what's happening. Monitoring system memory revealed something interesting. The free memory dropped low after working for 20 minutes. when the "swap used" reached 5gb I got an "audio dropped" event. So we purged the memory with the terminal application.
I restarted my computer and reopened Adobe premiere pro CC and started editing. After a few minutes it gave me an audio drop event again. Whenever I get them, premiere reacts slowly.

I can move the yellow line all the way down till the volume reads -0.0, but the sound is still there on playback. rickeyt
Thanks for the reply. Great news about the volume adjusts.
Now about those fades for the volume. How are you doing that?
    1. Right click the Timeline video audio and select Fade and then
see the Fade options (I had a video with audio file, so I saw the choices as shown in the screenshot)
    2. You can also create two volume keyframes at each end of the Timeline audio clip rubberband (orange line that goes horizontally across the middle of the audio clip). At the position of the Timeline Indicator, click the Add/Remove Keyframe icon, and then with the mouse cursor position the white dots (volume keyframes) to achieve the Fade In and Fade Out audio. In the screenshot below I have moved the Timeline Indicator so that you could better see the white dots (volume keyframes).
Please let us know if any of the above works for you with regard to the audio fades.
    Thank you.

  • How do you export 4 discrete mono audio tracks with video from Adobe Premiere Pro 4/Adobe Encoder?

I've posted this question in different terms a few times and have not had an answer.  I can't find the answer on the Premiere Pro support site either (which makes me think that a simple solution doesn't exist)
We use adobe premiere pro 4.  We capture DVCAM tapes with 4 discrete audio channels.  When we export the video using adobe encoder, the result is stereo tracks with the discrete audio channels mixed together which is completly useless to us.  When I select Mono for the output settings, two channels of audio are mixed into one audio channel.  Also useless.
When capturing the clip, we always use the mono timeline and modify the clips to mono. We can edit the discrete audio channels but when we export the video, the audio is mixed down.
this is the problem.  Each of our  4 audio channels contain a different language of dialogue.  When exported, these 4 get mixed down to 2 mixed channels blending of course the language.
Can Premiere Pro 4 export discrete mono audio channels?  How do you do it?
Does version 6 have the ability to export 4 discrete mono channels?

    Hi Steve,
Important info is missing from your post - what format are you wanting to export to, and for what purpose? We need to know how the exported file is intended to be used. Who's going to view it, using what gear? Is it for another editor to work with? End user viewing?
    Thanks

  • Why does Adobe Premiere CS6 slow playback after importing some audio?

    Adobe Premiere CS6.0 v6.0.2
    Mac Pro:
    1, 4 core - 3.2ghz CPU
    16gb ram (4 sticks of 4gb @ 1066 MHz)
1 Tb dive with OS/Apps on
    2Tb 7200 RPM media drive
    ATI Radeon HD 5770
    Sequence:
    30Fps
    1920x1080
    Media:
mostly .MFX files from a Canon XF100 however these clips commonly play nice with Premiere.
    Issue:
After importing some audio clips (.wav/.mp3, possibly other extensions) to the timeline on occasion the video playback will become choppy and the audio will slow down 3% creating any voices in the video to become deeper and slows down.  Choppy video playback as well.  The problem is very annoying but  it can be temporarily fixed with a computer restart but it will come back.
    Things to note:
Creating a rendered ID (Exporting the movie out to a .mov) the slowed choppy video does not appear in the final movie.
    Temp. Solution:
The only way I can fix this problem is by restarting the computer.  Simply restarting Adobe Premiere and closing any non-essential applications does not fix the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this are much apperciated.

Try converting your MP3 to AIFF ,QT or something else Macs like. See if that helps.
