PrE 12. How to deal with black screen "Created with Adobe Premiere Elements trial version"?

I'm really considering purchasing PrE 12 and would like to try it out. (I have another video editing software and would like to try this one.)
When I add video, I get a black screen "Created with Adobe Premiere Elements trial version". When I hit play, I can hear audio, but I don't get any video (just the black screen). Is there a work around, a setting that I can change, or is the trial version supposed to show the black screen?

Adobe premiere elements trial version

in my adobe premiere elements the text 'premiere elements trial version' stays in the videodisplay, how can I remove this?

Just in case notes that may sometimes get overlooked.....
1. After purchase of the Premiere Elements, you can remove the Adobe watermark from a project file (project.prel) that you created during the tryout. But, you cannot remove the Adobe watermark that exists in one of the exports from the tryout project.prel file (even after you get a purchased serial number and are working from the purchased program).
a. The classical answer to getting rid of the Adobe watermark from your tryout project.prel files after you purchase the product is to delete the rendered files of the trial project.prel which is opened in the purchased program.
b. However, I and others have found the often just opening the trial project.prel into the purchased program removes the Adobe watermark automatically with no need to delete any rendered files.

Adobe Premiere CC Trial Version "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down." PLEASE HELP!

Every time I open any project in Adobe Premiere CC Trial Version, I get the message "Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We will try to save your project." I can't edit at all and am totally stuck. Please help!
It's terrible that this is happening on the trial version as it's making me want to go straight back to FCP! Also - I've tried switching external hard drive and that also doesn't work.

Trouble installing Adobe Photoshop Elements trial version

I'm trying to download Adobe Photoshop Elements trial version and got up to installing adobe Download assistant and logging in with my Adobe ID and password. Help section says it should start downloading automatically after that but nothing happens and in the adobe Download assistant under' All products' or 'Products you may like', nothing shows up for me to manually click to download. How can this be solved?

Still have the "Created with Adobe premiere .. trial versions" even after purchasing premiere E 12

I had decided to use the trial version of PE 12 to see if I'd like it before buying it. I used it on a previous project that I had started with a previous version of PE (version 9). After few days, I decided to buy it.
I did, entered the serial number, signed in etc... Now I still have this "Created with Adobe Premiere ...trial version" banner all over the images and video clips? You'd think that Adobe woulld automatically remove this now that I purchased the the program.
Anyone can help me with this?

When you say that you still have the Adobe watermark on your images and video clips, are you specifically talking about those images and video clips within a given project (project.prel file) OR are you referring to exports from the tryout product (file saved to hard drive or burn to disc)?
The Adobe watermark cannot be removed from an export of the Premiere Elements tryout. It can be removed from a project.prel file created in the tryout version. I have found it is an automatic process although some have reported the classical fix worked for them, that being, deleting the rendered files. If you were dealing with your issue at a project.prel level, did that deletion of the rendered files work for you?
If not, this brings up a possibily interesting twist in this FAQ since you are working with a project.prel created in another version before it was opened in Premiere Elements 12. I have always looked at a project.prel created in the tryout not one created in another version and opened in the later version.
We will be looking forward to your results.
a. Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace Timeline Menu/Delete rendered files
or
b. Going to the Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder and deleting the rendered files there.

How do I remove the Adobe Premiere Elements Trail Version Sign from my video?

I'm making a video using the Adobe Premiere Elements, but they have a trail version logo across the screen so I cannot fully make a video without that showing. Is there any possible way that I can remove it? Thanks!

You cannot remove the Adobe watermark from an export of the Premiere Elements tryout, be it an export to file saved to the computer hard drive or a burn to disc.
But, you can remove the Adobe watermark from the Premiere Elements project file (known as the project.prel) after you purchase the program.
All you do is open the project file from the tryout in the purchase Premiere Elements and then....
a. In the opened project, go to Timeline Menu/and click on Delete Rendered Files
or
b. do nothing (some of us have found that the Adobe watermark automatically disappears from the tryout project file when that tryout project file in opened in the purchased Premiere Elements.
See which one works for you. The classical version of the how to is "a" above.

Adobe premiere elements trial download link not working

can anyone download the trial version? the golden yellow download button is frozen whenever I try to download premiere elements,

actually, note to other downloaders, when this screen below pops up,
click the link at the top of the pop up downloader to install Akamai downloader,reads : dont see the installer? try reopening it ( you click that link in the download pop up
I was only able to download 252mb of a 1.2 gig file, then had to restart the download the next day because I had used the direct links for file 1 and 2 at the bottom of that initial pop up as can be seen by the two download windows to its right, if you need to resume your download because of lost internet connection or time reasons you`ll have to start again,,
however once akamai has installed automatically, or you downloaded and installed manually, you`ll get this download window when you attempt downloading premiere elements 8 (or any other adobe software).
once the download is complete a golden yellow tab will read "install now" in the akamai downloader window,
unfortunately for me I received the following error on installation, even if trying to install to different folder I get the same error,
trying to manually open the file gets me this error
so far this has been a breeze,
using win7 64bit. quadcore. HP pavillion laptop. shouldn`t matter

Adobe Premiere Elements 11 just doesn't start (Win7, 64bit, NEW image)

While Adobe Premiere Elements 10 is just working fine, Premiere Elements 11 won't start. I choose "Video Editor" from the Welcome screen, then select either open project or create new project. I then get to see pink/grey status bar, but nothing else happens. Elements just won't start. Note: The Organizer is working fine.
When I check the Win7 Event list, this is the error that I see:

Adobe Premiere Elements. Crash at transcode

Dear Adobe Community,
i got every time on ~66% a crash on transcoding. I will export (AVCHD/Bluray) my movie on a Disc/Computer but there is always the same problem with a movie longer than 1h. If i cut this movie to half. It works without a problem. I tried to export the 1st and the 2nd half that i can exlude errors in my files/jpegs. Both are export without an error.
Tried exports:
short/large movie with export option DVD. working.
short movie with export option AVCHD. working
short movie with export option Bluray. working
large movie with export option AVCHD. crash
large movie with export option bluray. crash
No entries in the event log. Only the message in elements with aborted transcoding.
I tested CPU/RAM with >5 hours Prime/OCCT stable.
What else can i try?

It appears that that .dll is likely part of the MainConcept Encoder: http://www.herdprotect.com/mc_enc_avc.dll-50f9fb58d88ab643d0199d77b79c2b9b4b12a8c7.aspx
As the MainConcept Encoder is installed along with PrE, if the MS article, or the Herd Project one does not help, it might be time to Uninstall PrE, run a Registry cleaner, like CCleander, then Reinstall. I am not a big fan of doing the Uninstall/clean/Reinstall, and usually hold that in the wings, until nothing else works, but then there are times, when an installation can become corrupt (in this case one of the MainConcept modules?), and that can fix some issues. I would try other remedies first, and maybe others will have some direct experience with the mc_enc_avc.dll, that will help, without that Uninstall/clean/Reinstall.

leider habe ich ein bisher nicht lösbares Problem.
Adobe Premiere Elements 11 / 12 gleiche Ergebnisse. Das Transkodieren (via Veröffentlichen - Disc erstellen/oder auf Computer speichern) bricht genau bei ~66% ab.
Dieser Film geht meist über eine Stunde. Wird der Film gekürzt, bzw. ist es generell ein kürzerer Film, wird er ohne Probleme fertiggestellt. Den Film habe ich einmal vorne abgeschnitten, und hinten, um zu vermeiden, dass es an einer Datei/jpeg im Film selbst liegt.
Versucht wurde das Transkodieren mit AVCHD/Bluray.
Export:
Kurzer/Langer Film mit Option DVD funktioniert.
Kurzer Film mit Option AVCHD funktioniert.
Kurzer Film mit Option AVCHD funktioniert.
Langer Film mit Option AVCHD abbruch.
Langer Film mit Option Bluray abbruch.
CPU/RAM Test wurde durchgeführt. Ist jedenfalls Prime/OCCT stable. Festplatte zeigt 100% Zustand an.
Woran könnte hier das Problem liegen?

Fragmentierungsgrad war bei C: 6% lasse jetzt eine Defragmentierung durchlaufen und teste es nochmal.
Auf einer externen Festplatte (verbunden via USB 2.0) sind die Mediendaten. Das heißt es sind 2 im Spiel.
Mich hat noch jemand auf die Idee gebraucht etwas zu versuchen. Ich sollte ein neues Konto anlegen und damit testen. Jetzt habe ich zumindest eine Fehlermeldung im Ereignis log bei 66%
