Adobe Premiere Pro asks to register even though I have creative cloud

Hello,
Today I got a message that told me I have to register my Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014. The program still works so I'm not sure what this means.

iTunes will ask you to enter your password when buying songs for each browsing "session". This wouldn't explain why you are being asked to enter it every 3 minutes though.
I would suggest logging out of your Apple ID on iTunes and logging back in. Also, you may verify that your computer is "Authorized" for use with your iTunes content.
To do this on a Mac, go to the "Store" tab at the top of the screen and click "Authorize this Computer"

  • Is my Premiere Pro CC trial being cut short because of Creative Cloud?

So, I downloaded the free 30-day trial of Adobe Premiere Pro CC to start myself out before I bought it, and frankly I love it. But the problem is, when I got the free trial, it said on creative cloud that I only had 10 days left, but when I had Premiere open then I would get notifications saying I had 30 days left. I'm now down to 1 day on Creative Cloud and 21 days on the notifications and don't know what to do. Will my trial still be the full length or was there some sort of glitch?

  • Applications Aren't Opening even though I bought Creative Cloud Membership

I purchased the student version of Creative Cloud on my macbook pro back in December of 2014, I guess I had downloaded trial versions of the applications, now  when I open the applications it tells me my "Trial Has Expired" and to either License The Software or Join Creative Cloud even though I've already paid for the full membership. How do I get the full versions of these apps? Do I just uninstall them and then re-install them?

None of the options that adobe suggests pertains to my situation, thank you for getting back to me quickly, but my problem is that whenever I open the Creative Cloud Application on my mac, it shows that I my trials for applications have expired, even though I purchased a membership to Creative Cloud for a whole year. My friend told me he had a similar problem way back, I'm just hoping I can get some specific answers on what to do. Thank You.

I've checked my Bank account and the money is still leaving my account. I've spent about 2 hours trying to sort this out with no luck. It all came about when CC2014 was released. All CC2013 apps still work fine with no licensing issues.

  • Adobe premiere pro cc 2014 - constantly crashing

Naturally, my project is under deadline..
My system is running OS X 10.9.4 (13E28)
    late-2012 MacBook Pro Retina
    2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
    16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Intel HD Graphics 4000
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
    768Gb Flash Hard Drive
My project consists of DSLR footage (h.264 compressed files) and Zoom H4N Audio (.WAV files)
Even after spending most of Thursday and Friday on the phone with Adobe support; deleted all files from media cache, re-imported project, waited for premiere to re-conformed footage, etc..
...I still find my project loading sluggishly.. like it takes 15 minutes until video clips in the sequence will fully loads & appear in the project window... it becomes momentarily operable before quickly becoming inoperable as the video and audio no longer playback or respond to the cursor.
At that point  (when playback no longer works) I can still save the project.
It seems as though the software loses the dynamic link between the footage as it completely goes black.
Then when I try to exit Premiere CC 2014.. the program locks up and crashes with no report.
The crash reports I have are from a few days ago when they first began and before they stooped generating reports.
    Majority of the errors were:
    Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: EXC_I386_GPFLT
It also crashed a few times with the following errors:
    Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00007fff5fbfdef0
    Exception Type:  EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
    Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000018
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First I must say.. ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CC 2014 is glitchy as hell (and in my three weeks editing a documentary or rather two weeks bc I lost an entire week due to this issue) I have come to learn and identify some workaround solutions..
Here is what I originally wrote after speaking to five different Adobe engineers...
It is only an issue with PrCC2014 and the temporary solution before the upcoming update is to...
    1) Go into Preferences... Audio... and UNCHECK the box next to "Maintain pitch while shuttling."
[this is a new feature in PrCC2014 that is processor intensive, causes audio dropouts, and is a major player in why the playback suffers]
    2) Go into your sequences settings for each sequence you have for DSLR footage and change the Editing Mode preset to "CUSTOM"
    3) Next scroll down to Video Previews and change the preview file format to "QuickTime" and the codec to "Animation."
    4) Uncheck the box  next to "Composite  in Linear Color (requires GPU acceleration or max render quality).
[this is another new feature that is also processor intensive & is also a key suspect to the problem]
THE KEY TO FIXING (temporarily) THE BEHAVIOR
When your computer begins to show signs of the glitchy - sluggish playback behavior..
Stop.. go back into your SEQUENCE SETTINGS and change it to a different EDITING MODE (only temporarily) and click OK.
You could change yours from ProRes to CUSTOM (as indicated in step #3)
Next a prompt will pop up asking you...
Click okay then immediately go back to SEQUENCE SETTINGS and change it back to your original setting, in your case, ProRes.
Somehow, by DELETING those PREVIEW FILES it essentially resets the issue... until the dreaded glitchy behavior returns.
I have had luck with this trick and hopefully you will too..
    Cheers!

  • Serial number of Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0

I have downloaded the old version Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0. During the installation I have to write a serial number. Where I can get it?

If you never purchased the software then you are do not likely have any chance of getting a serial number for it.  If you did purchase it, then you will either need to find the original purchase information that provides the serial number.  If you registered the software when you first purchased it then you might find the serial number in your Adobe account online, though it is doubtful even then due to the age of it.

    Updated Premiere

Hi guys; I thought I would share my experience and how I managed to fix this problem. It might help someone.
In my case I kept receiving this message; eventually after re-launching Premiere, I actually paid close attention to the "software loading" information and saw that it got stuck on my installed "Colorista ii" which is a colour grading software.
Now the red bulb came on my head ping!
I recently just upgraded my Mac to the OS X Yosemite & that affected pretty much any non-updated application, which in my case was that and many more of the Red Giant Pacakge; so I searched for the upgrade via Red giant Link, and low and behold I found it and did so. Immediately everything loaded up perfectly fine.. and now can't even do the work, cos I'm so exhausted from an 'almost heartattack'; so going to sleep and commence later in the day I guess..
Now, you might probably want to check if any application on your system needs upgrading to whatever is the operating system on your Mac or PC at this very time. It might help.
    Always back-up.
    I hope I helped someone :-)

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC / Media Encoder CC Crashing On Export

    Hi,
I have a 1 hour project consisting of
    - iPhone 5 Video clips recorded at 1080p/30fps using app FilmicPro
    - Various Image files, imported as PSD's
    - WAV Sound files
    My Sequence Settings are:
    Export Settings are:
As you can tell by the file name, i already installed ALL updates.
I just installed a new graphics card (GTX 770) a few days ago, but these crashes were happening before i installed the card, and now after I've installed it, so it's not related at all (before i was just using my CPU (Intel HD 4600). (At the moment I have CUDA enabled).
    Full Specs
    - Windows 8.1 Pro
    - Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2
    - Adobe Media Encoder 7.2.2
    - Intel i7 4770k
    - 8GB RAM
    - NVidia GTX 770
The crashes always happen at the exact same place on both Premiere Export and Media Encoder, no idea what's causing it, I've played around with the settings and managed to export it a few times but not at the quality I want. If i render my entire sequence preview's first, and then export using preview files then it exports fine using MPEG Preview. Not exactly the format/quality I want though, if there is anything i have missed out then please ask, I do intend to check the boxes for Maximum Bit Depth and Maximum Render Quality
    P.S. I have already tried
    A) Clear Media Cache
    B) Reinstall Premiere/Media Encoder
    C) Change Location of Project Files
    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi Jay Singh,
Thanks for posting on Adobe forums.
Please try to check the resolution on the PSDs in the Project. and Make sure that the resolution should not exceed more than 1920*1080. This is could be the issue on crash on export.
Let us know if this will help.
    Happy Editing,
    Sandeep

  • "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working" but was working fine a week ago...

On my desktop (Dell XPS 8300), I keep getting the error message "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 has stopped working" when openng up a previously created project or trying to create a new one in Premiere Pro CS6.
On my laptop (MS Surface Pro 2), I can load projects and edit them, but I cannot export media.  When I try, it just sits there and does nothing.  I've also tried sending it to Media Encoder, but that doesn't help either.  Sometimes, it crashes too.
I'm running Windows 8.1 on both with the latest updates installed.
Oddly, this started roughly around the same time on both computers.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but that didn't help.
I've run the Windows troubleshooter and that didn't help either.
I've tried running as an administrator, and running the program in compatibility mode for Windows 8, 7 and Vista - that doesn't solve the issue either.
At this point, I can't do any work and am even considering paying for CC even though I just dropped $700 on CS6 last year, but I'm wondering if that would even solve the issue, or if the CC version would also not work...

    >started roughly around the same time on both computers
Most likely cause is a Windows update that changed "something" about the video system
Check the vendor site (NOT Windows update) for a newer video driver

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 compatible with Nvidia 970 GTX?

    Good afternoon.
I'm an owner of a GIGABYTE Nvidia 660 GTX Ti OC 2GB. The card is detected by Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (Even though,i think,it said that it's not listed or something but will work under my own risk..Is there a way to check if it's certified/supported via my own program and NOT the typical "This is the list of supported GPUs"?)
Anyways,i was thinking of buying one of the new 970GTX cards to game on better, but also to make full advantage of it's properties to do much more faster encoding/exporting (you know, create a H.264 MP4 720p@29,97FPS file) than my actual 660GTX card with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.
The thing is,any owner of such card (GIGABYTE,MSI,doesn't matter) have tried to launch Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 and export stuff by using the GPU's full potential to make everything faster?.. Because i have this fear of "Getting the newest n greatest Nvidia card so far and in the end see/notice it'll not work with Premiere Pro CC 2014"
....Can somebody please help me with this big fear of mine, please?
    Thanks in advance
