  • Premiere pro is not appeared in Creative Cloud for free trial

I tried to use free trial of Adoebe Premiere pro, so I downloaded Creative cloud.
But when I logged into Creative Cloud to download it, I couldn't find "Premiere Pro" on the list of apps in Creative Cloud.
Can you tell me how can I find Premiere Pro app and start to use free trial?

If an application does not appear in the programs list, it normally means your machine does not meet the system requirements for the software.  Here is a link to find out the Premiere Pro requirements:

  • Is my Premiere Pro CC trial being cut short because of Creative Cloud?

So, I downloaded the free 30-day trial of Adobe Premiere Pro CC to start myself out before I bought it, and frankly I love it. But the problem is, when I got the free trial, it said on creative cloud that I only had 10 days left, but when I had Premiere open then I would get notifications saying I had 30 days left. I'm now down to 1 day on Creative Cloud and 21 days on the notifications and don't know what to do. Will my trial still be the full length or was there some sort of glitch?

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC not opening an xml file created in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014

    Hello,
I had created a project using Adobe Premiere CC 2014 which had some minor changes, which were going to be done by my boss, who uses Premiere Pro CC. However the project file of Adobe Premiere CC 2014 was not getting opened in Premiere Pro CC giving a message of type that as this file was created in a newer version of Premiere, it cannot be opened. After searching on this forum I found that we have to convert the Premiere Pro CC 2014 project file to XML file which can be then imported onto Premiere CC. So I created a XML file by selecting File-> Export -> Final Cut Pro XML and sent it to my boss. However even the xml file is not getting opened after being imported onto Premiere Pro CC giving an error of sorts, Cannot open the file since there is a problem with the codecs.
Have I done something wrong? Please guide me since I am a beginner to the Adobe environment and would very much appreciate any help.
    Thank you.

Indeed..... but are they fully documented, includuing Adobe's implementation of Multicam?
Collapsing them should really be no more than a day or two of work for an Adobe engineer and a day of beta testing.  Seriously.  Lots of people want this - it only takes a few minutes with google to find people struggling with this exact problem.   Premiere Pro Multicam --> Resolve.
Since we do a lot of multicam work it's something that's important to us.
Lots of other people never go near multicam, so I guess for them it's something they really don't care about.
I currently have > 22 hours of multicam sequences that need primary colour correction and follow on grading..... resolve would be the best choice by far.

Thank you for your follow up and supplying the requested information. Much appreciated.
I am not sure if you tried the following but I post it since you have gone through so much already and we have not found the answer to success for you.
Think about downloading and installing the free 30 day tryout of Premiere Elements 11 from Adobe. See if you can get it to run as the trial version. If and when you do, then open it an insert your purchased serial number when it asks "Buy Now" or "Continue the Trial".
But, please make sure that antivirus and firewalls are off during this download and install and until you see that you have Premiere Elements 11 project open and ready to work.
    What do you think?
We will be watching for your follow up.
    ATR
Add On...By the way, did you ever say how you installed Premiere Elements originally....from installation disc or from installation files from online download from Adobe? What I have suggested best lends itself to installation disc since there may be a problem getting a second download of installation files from Adobe since you already have done that.

  • Does Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 not support the Quadro K2000D GPU card?

I can't get the Premiere Pro CS6 to recognize that Quadro K2000D is installed on my computer.  I'm running Windows 7.  I see in the list that Quatro 2000D and Quatro K2000 is listed as supported but I haven't come across Quatro K2000D.

If your nVidia card has at least 1Gig of video ram, use the nVidia Hack http://forums.adobe.com/thread/629557 - which is a simple entry in a "supported cards" file

  • Adobe Premiere Pro cs6 not opening 2 channel audio videos

    1,
    2.

    Welcome to the forum.
I agree with John T., regarding some MP3 material. See this article: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4146900#4146900
If you are having issues, when using Audio, but no Video, you might want to try one of two things:
Create Black Video (from the New Icon), and place that onto Video Track 1. Extend that to cover the music files.
Create Transparent Video (from the New Icon), and perform the same operation.
When you go to Export, just choose Export Audio only, if you want no Video Stream.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 3.2.0 update

Thought I'd share a bit of information on the 3.2.0 update that will be coming out via AUM this morning. The update will come out first via AUM, then will be available on the updates page shortly after at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/?ogn=EN_US-gntray_dl_updates.
The readme will also be hosted at http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/premierepro/releasenotes.html.
Dave Helmly has posted about the update on his blog, as well: http://blogs.adobe.com/davtechtable/2008/04/xdcam_and_premiere_32.html#more
    New in this release:
    - This update adds compatibility with the Sony XDCAM range of cameras. This includes disc-based XDCAM and XDCAM HD cameras., and the newer SxS-based XDCAM EX cameras. Content from XDCAM cameras can be imported and edited natively without transcoding or conversion. This makes possible similar workflows to Panasonic P2, including the ability to edit content directly from XDCAM EX cameras.
    - Note: Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 3.2.0 does not support IMX editing or XDCAM HD50 editing at this time. Export to XDCAM is also not possible.
    - Adobe Premiere Pro now has presets for HDV 24p. Note: Adobe Premiere Pro does NOT support print to tape in 24p mode.
    - Improved handling of MPEG streams (e.g.: HDV video), along with error detection. MPEG stream errors can occur during recording due to tape dropouts, record start/stop glitches, timecode breaks, etc. Bad frames caused by these MPEG stream errors are identified during import/indexing or playback. These frames will play back as full red frames to alert the user that there is a problem in the encoded video at that location. Adobe Premiere Pro will also log error messages to the Events panel, indicating where the error(s) were encountered in the stream. Users can open the Events panel, determine the location of the MPEG stream error, navigate to that location in the clip and take corrective action, such as trimming out the video glitch or covering up the red frames with duplicated good frames copied from before or after the glitch. Note: MPEG files will need to be re-indexed to take advantage of the improvements in Adobe
Premiere Pro CS3 3.2.0. For more information, please see Working with MPEG Files.
    Notable fixes:
    - Titles/Footage no longer show up as offline when reloading saved projects.
    - Rendered preview files no longer missing when reloading saved projects.
    - Certain filters and/or transitions are now applied correctly when reloading saved projects, until the timeline is forcibly refreshed.
    - When exporting via the Adobe Media Encoder, there is no longer a long delay before the progress dialog shows and rendering resums (Mac OS 10.5.x only).
    - 24p HDV clips shot on a Canon XH A1 no longer come in incorrectly as 30 fps clips.
    - Creating an offline clip in the project window then attempting to link it to media on disk no longer results in the application crashing.
    - QT PAL movies rendered out of Adobe After Effects® software are no longer incorrectly identified as requiring rendering in a Adobe Premiere Pro PAL project.
    - DV Clips of certain specific durations are no longer incorrectly identified on the timeline as requiring rendering.
    - For P2 DVCPro clips, the right-most pixel column no longer contains video garbage.
    - Fixed a memory fragmentation problem that would occur with projects with many custom bin columns.
    - Fixed a bug where exporting to a QuickTime movie (with QT 7.4) would crash the application.
    - Selecting "display only exact name matches" when relinking clip no longer crashes on Leopard.
    - Fixed an issue where 30p and 30f HDV clips would incorrectly be identified as requiring rendering in a 29.97 progressive project.

    Harm,
I don't use HDV, so I'm not sure if this is the case or not, but in the top post, there is mention of having to re-index the MPEG files "to take advantage of the improvements in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 3.2.0." While it seems this should be an automatic process, maybe wiping out the previously-created index files (I seem to remember them being in the Media Cache folder when importing MPG files from DVD rips and such) would let the project open. Or, maybe the old trick of importing an existing project into a new one? Just a couple thoughts...
To the other poster: surely, I don't jest. At least, not when it comes to anything in the video production industry and my operation in it. Long ago, I gave up expecting perfection from any particular piece of hardware or software, and just focused on being creative. That's why I got into this. I refuse to let any piece of equipment dictate what I can or can't do--I just find another way around. Funny how we managed to make it as a species and a civilization as long as we have, and now that computers are here to make our lives easier (*snort*), we're quick to raise our ire about everything that's wrong with them. That's why I will always marvel at things built long ago prior to the advent of all the technology we take for granted today.
Anyway, we're all entitled to our opinions, and I've taken this thread completely off-topic. My apologies, so...

  • Adobe Premiere Pro hungs, does not listen to commands / Mac

I subscribe Adobe premiere pro for almost half a year and till now it was working perfectly. But for one week it has completely stopped reacting on any commands. I click "play" but it does not play, it hungs all the time. I tried to restart both Mac and programme but still Premiere is not working. Please anyone had this problem before and know how to fix it?
    Thank you!

My normal use of Premiere Pro CC involves importing footage shot using either my Canon EOS5D Ml iii or my Panasonic FZ200. I import the footage using Media Browser.  When I create a new project it always used to display the Media Browser screen on a second monitor.  It also showed in the project settings that the renderer was Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA).
Since updating to CC2014 it is not uncommon for the second monitor to be inactive and the renderer to appear as Mercury Playback Engine Software only.
When I queried this with Adobe support they first of all took control of my PC and updated the graphics driver.  This did not seem to fix the issue which they put down to my graphics card not being on the Adobe list of supported AMD and NVIDIA products.
I also spoke to the NVIDA support people and they confirmed this diagnosis.
Since then the circumstances vary.  Sometimes the second monitor appears and the Mercury Engine Accelerator (CUDA) is active and sometimes not.  I also never had the problem until I upgraded to CC2014.
I can live with this problem but would prefer if it wasn't there and I was running a supported graphics card.
My real question is which of the huge list of supported products would be best.  The price range is vast and I do not want to overkill the problem by installing a card with features I will never need.
I do not play any computer games and am only really concerned with Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC and Photoshop CC.
My use of effects in Premiere is limited although I do play around with Colour Correction and Sharping.  I am also exploring the use of Lumetri.
My hope is advise from someone who has experience or knowledge of upgrading to a supported card.
Thank in advance and for the guidance from previous responders.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again.

I have administrator rights to the computer. The drivers are up to date. But I am still getting the error message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again"  when opening Premier Pro CS5.5. This appears to have happed after I upgraded to Mac OS 10.10.2.
    Anyone?
    Thanks

    Hi Stan.
I had the same problem as you did though I am using Adobe CC.  I saw nobody replied to you so perhaps my eventual success on my later version may have applications to the error on your version.
Anyhow, I did all the suggestions found here (Error "Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules" | Startup )  first and updated my NVidea card to no avail.  Eventually what did the trick was this...
After mucking about with the video card, I said "OK lets just have a go at Premiere itself." So I uninstalled Premiere CC and reinstalled it.  Now for some reason it didn't give me the latest patch but a slightly earlier version than the current one but lo and behold it was fine with the video card again.  I was able to get my friend's video imported and quickly edited but then was having some issues with exporting where it would hang up but I went into Adobe Media Encoder and exported it there without a care.  That task out of the way, I then went and made the update to the latest patch and it works perfectly fine - no video driver issues.
So short of it is this - if you've updated your drivers, perhaps what you could try uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere.
Let me know if this works.
    Cheers and good luck

  • Adobe's move to a more "Final Cut" Premiere Pro is not all good.

Hi everyone. I don't post very often and I decided to do so because I want to hear people's comments on this subject. I have been a premiere pro user since Premiere Pro 2.0 and I've a good handle on Final Cut and Media Composer. To this day, I've always preferred Premiere for a number of reasons.
As of late, many Final Cut users have been migrating to other NLEs and in response to that the latest iteration of Premiere (Premiere CC) has included some decidedly FCP-ish features (And some Media Composer-ish stuff too). In my opinion, some are rather welcome additions and some are not.
What prompted me to write this is the feeling I got when I started using CC. It felt like in the rush to welcome the newcomers, some things were lost for those of us who has stuck by adobe for years.
Here's my list of good and bad:
    Good stuff:
    1) Auto Locate - Premiere is now smarter at finding your files. Awesome!
    2) You can now select clips and move them up and down in tracks with keyboard shortcuts.  Great!
    3) You can move target and source tracks with keyboard shortcuts! In fact there are many new things you can do with keyboard shortcuts! (Can you tell I like keyboard shortcuts?) I'll leave the keyboard alone now. Yay! Ok now I'll leave it alone.
    4) Audio Clip mixer. Now, I really don't see when I would use this, but sure. Why not? It's not invasive and they kept my track mixer as awesome as ever. I'm sure final cut users could shed some light as to it's utility. Specifically, what can you do now, that you couldn't without the Clip Mixer?
    5) There are a few cool ways to expand tracks. (I've heard it works a lot like Media Composer).
    6) You can now customize the buttons on your audio tracks. Sweet! (Also feels a bit Media Composerlike)
    Bad stuff:
    1) Symmetrical transitions - This is meant as a feature for Final Cut users but it's actually horrible to me. I don't want my start point to mess with my end point. I want to put them both exactly where I need them and have them stay. I know you can hold shift to get the old behavior back but I find I'm holding shift a lot these days.
    2) Transition icon changed to a suspiciously fcp looking transition. It's smaller. I don't see the advantage of changing the look. I certainly don't see the advantage of making it smaller. Not a big deal, but not a fan.
    3) The "fx" box replaced the name of the parameter whose keyframes you are currently seeing inside the clip. Now you can't tell which parameter you are looking at. Is this an attempt at removing clutter? Cause I think allow for the user to customize clip info is a better approach than simply removing stuff.
    4) The clips now turn white when selected. Again I remember complaints of clips not being obviously selected but now you lose the label color when you select a clip. This means that if you select a bunch of clips, you can't use the color to see if you picked up something that should've stayed unselected.
    5) Audio display now shows half of the wave instead of the doubled mirrored wave it always showed before. This sucks. Every DAW I've ever used (Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Audition to name a few) shows the mirrored wave. It's kinda standard. This new view is actually harder to look at. The negative view of the wave (the part of the wave that isn't the sound) looks like the bottom part of a wave. It's very distracting and annoying.
    6) Work area bar is gone. This isn't such a big deal since the functionality has been added to the in and out marks, but since the work area bar is also a part of After Effects, this makes Premiere work differently than it's family of apps. I would think that having overlapping or similar tasks performed similarly throughout the Creative Cloud Apps would make a lot of sense to Adobe.
Again, Adobe Premiere Pro has been and still is my NLE of choice. This isn't an angry rant. I simply felt it was an update that removed some great functionallity and wondered if others felt the same. I'm sure my list is both incomplete and of course simply an opinion. I'd love to hear people's reaction to the new Premiere Pro CC. Do try and be nice though.

    Jim.
Agreed. You can't please everyone every time. Though user customization goes a long way I think. And I definitely feel like this release was not really targeting me.
shooternz - Too bad. I did know this. It's not such an imposition but it does change the way I work without gaining anything I wanted. Seems like a lot of people actually like the symmetrical transitions though. Me, I think it is only useful when you don't care about being very precise. Maybe not. Maybe there's a good use for it. I haven't found it. I just wish there was a way to make the default behavior what it used to be and the symmetrical transitions work with shift. I'm already getting used to holding shift all the time so I'm not worried. I just don't see much advantage.
