Adobe Presenter App brings up white screen instead of displaying file

Hi,
we have issues using the Presenter App on a iPad (iOS 6.1.3).
We managed to start a presentation once, but when we want to load it another time (via the same way = clicking on a link), it jumps to the App ok but then there is a white screen and nothing happens (you dont even see the loading screen with the hand gestures explainations).
Since it worked already I dont think there is anything wrong with the URL or the presentation itself.
Any ideas?
Thank you !

Hi Sunil, thanks for the quick answer.
I already killed the App, also I cleaned out the Safri cache and browser history.
I still have troubles: The first time it normally opens (not always) ok, then I get the white screen (via the link) or it just loads forever (hand gesture thing in the background), when I type the URL in directly.
I tried from different wireless networks, also via UMTS ... I don't get any reliable ore repeatable results.
Can I send the URL via PM ? (cannot have it published on the internet)
Is there a resource describing the requirements regarding how to host such a presentation (if not via Adobe) ? I read somewhere that AICC needs to be enabled, so do I need an LMS in the background ? Does it work with SCORM, too ?
Thanks for any tipps on this.

  • Publishing: white screen instead of slides

    hi.
i'm using captivate for recording and publishing
presentations (lasting one hour each, incl. audio and slides). this
time i was using the "application"-version as i was only having
    .pdf for the presentation.
previewing the project, the recorded staff works, all slides
are shown. but when publishing them to an .exe- or a flash-file,
around half-time there are no more slides but a white screen
instead, the audio continues. i tried it several times, always with
    the same result.
for a better understanding, here an explication on the
    structure of my project:
    - only 1 "slide" (1 hour)
    - 1 audio bar (1 hour)
    - 1 loong bar called "entry" (i hope that's the right
translation, i'm using the german version) storing the slide
    changes
any ideas how to get an .exe- and/or a flash-file showing the
slides till the end instead of switching to those nasty white
    (empty) slides?
thanks a lot for your help!
    greets :)

    Hi,
I am having a similar problem to this in a project created in
    Captivate 3.
My project is an interactive training app, it has about 70
slides in all, a combination of static slides with click boxes and
some animation slides (all captured through Captivate).
When I first created and published it as an exe there was no
problem but after a full reinstall of Windows I now have the white
screen problem when viewing the published exe.
It only occurs on slides with animation on them and only
occurs on my computer, if I test them on another they work fine.
The slide plays fine when using "preview | play this slide" but not
if I use the other preview options or publish to exe. In those case
I get the white screen and nothing else on the slides with
    animation in them.
Is there any posibility this could be related to the version
of Flash Player I am running?
Any advice or hints would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Andy

  • Apps show a white square instead of the app picture?

My ipod touch shows some apps as a white square instead of the app picture.  The app still works but I don't
know why it is diplaying this way.

Where is your Calculator application located? Before you can put it into the Dock you need to remove the Question Mark. Select it with the mouse and drag it out of the until it "poofs" away. Now locate Calculator and drag its icon into the Dock.

  • White screen instead of blank black screen sreensaver...

I just want to use a blank black screensaver, but when I do I have a white screen instead.  The same also happens when I lock the screen, a white screen and a login box.  I'm using the newest gnome (2.24-3), nvidia driver, and compiz-fusion.  The opengl screensavers work fine.  I can't find anyone else when this problem so far.  I have searched quite a bit, but maybe I'm still not searching for the right thing.

  • E-mail app frozen on white screen

Help!!!  Iphone 5s - email app is on a white screen.  I have tried flicking up tile and restarting, but it did not help.  I also pressed the menu button and top button for 15 sec for a hard shutoff, but once again it did not help.  I deleted the mail account, then uploaded it once again, but it did not work, the white screen is still there.  I ask siri if there is any mail, and she says yes and displays them, but when I press the mail, it open the app on a white screen... What else can I do?.

    Hello isbe1604,
Having no access to your email can certainly be frustrating. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with software issues. Have you attempted to restore the device to factory settings? Test the issue on a new installation, and make sure that it works. Then use the same article to restore from your backup to either verify it still works, or isolate the issue to the backup itself.

  • Hi can anyone help with a mac that had magnet put on it. I turned it on and then off but a white screen appears with a file with a question mark on it?

Hi can anyone help with a mac that had magnet put on it. I turned it on and then off but a white screen appears with a file with a question mark on it?

File icon with ? mark on it means it can't read from the hard drive. The hard drive is now wiped or bad. If just wiped then you will need to reinstall your operating system, OS X. If bad you will need to replace the drive.
Start with booting the computer from the OS X install DVD that came with your system. If the Mac came with Lion Pre-Installed then you use the Lion internet recovery system to reinstall (Hold down Command+r keys or Command+Option+r keys to boot the computer from over the internet to the Lion recovery HD system).
    Good Luck.

Nooo or you would use OS X Recovery Mode: Disk Utilty and then Startup Disk.

  • My iMac has a white screen with a flashing file folder with a question mark in the middle.  What does that mean?

My iMac is completely unresponsive.  Whenever I restart it, it's just a white screen with a flashing file folder with a question mark in the middle.  What does this mean?

this means the mac cannot find the startup disc. which more times than not means you need a hdd replacement.
try starting holding the option key, then using utilities try to repair the disc.

    Jerricayoung,
you have a 13-inch Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. It’s modern enough that it supports booting into Recovery mode. To do so, hold down a Command key and the R key as you start up. It should eventually show a Mac OS X Utilities menu. Select Disk Utility from that menu; when the Disk Utility window appears, select the bootable volume from the left-hand side of the window. (It’s typically called “Macintosh HD”.) When the volume is selected, some buttons will appear on the right-hand side. If it’s not greyed out, press the Verify Disk button; if it is greyed out, or if it reports on errors that it found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu; that will restart your MacBook Pro in its normal mode. With luck, that will be enough to get you to your normal login screen, rather than the white screen.

  • My MacBook just has a white screen and a flashing file with a question mark. Please help:(

I don't really understand what's happening, but I tried to update the software. Then all these codes appeared on the screen so I help down alt, command and R and it then reset and now it's just a white screen with a flashing file and questionmark. Please help.

That is a sign that the MBA cannot locate the OSX.  The storage drive may be damaged.

    What exactly did your reset?
    Ciao.

  • I have a blank white screen with a flashing file folder

What do I do if I have a blank white screen with a flashing file folder?

That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the hard drive data is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the drive and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install disk in the optical drive.
Once it has finished booting and you are at the Install screen launch Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then select the First Aid Tab run Repair Disk and if that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.
