Adobe presenter only

In shorts: I would like to have a good-looking presentation
on my webpage, but I don't care about interacting with other people
using adobe connect. Can this be solved in any way? Or do I have to
pay 375US$ a month just to have a good-looking presentation?

Presenter license and use option 2 on this link:

I have to install only Adobe presenter from this whole application. I created package using AAMEE3.1

I created package using AAMEE 3.1, using source of Adobe E-learning Suite 6.1 .
During Package creation i selcted only Adobe Presenter 8. Package is serialized and also Adobe ID is there to login. Package created sucessfully. But when i run MSI it rollbacks during Installation.

Book marking feature in adobe presenter

Is there a book marking feature in adobe presenter?

The presentation is huge. I can't send. However, even on a single slide presentation when I add an interaction it does not work.
Delete - for exampe if I try to use a process tab interaction, it starts with 4 tabs, but I only want 3 tabs. How can I delete a tab.
The label on the tab is too small - I need to put 3 words on it, can't I shrink text size or use more of tab.
When I enter a graphic using the icon, it is not moveable and is not size right.
I don't see how I can add text, etc to the interactions. It seems to freeze, the instructions for how to edit interactions is very poor, so though very technical, I don't understand how to edit/add my own content to an interaction. Aren't there more robust instructions with maybe a video demonstration on how to use, edit/customize interactions?
Is there an option for allowing Flash that I should be setting on my computer? That seems to be a potential problem, like enabling java?

Publishing Presentation to Private Server (Adobe Presenter 9)

I cannot get my entire presentation to show publish to my work's FTP server. The presentation will work perfectly when I publish locally on my computer, but once I move the folder to the FTP, the video will not appear. The audio and everything else seems to work fine.
Is there something I am missing when I copy the folders?
I haven't been able to find much info on this subject in general, as it seems I must be the only one not using Adobe Connect Server.
Any guidance is appreciated.

Full motion .swf's in Adobe Presenter

This has been one of the most frustrating and time consuming
technical issues I've ever encountered. This is my 3rd posting (2
on a Captivate forum, 1 on a Presenter forum), and no one is able
to help me! Surely I can't be the only one to encounter the blank
screens that appear in my .swf files embedded in Adobe Presenter.
When I publish the Captivate file to .swf, multiple files are
generated. There are around 20 of them called "Fullmotion"... I can
view the main .swf file fine in IE, but when I insert the Flash
file in Presenter and publish the file, the video in the published
presentation plays for a while, then a white screen pops up, goes
back to playing, white screen again, etc... I figured out that
those white screens appear whenever there's a "Fullmotion" .... At
first I thought it was a Flash version issue, but that isn't the
case. Then I thought I had my answer when someone suggested to turn
off the borders. That didn't work.
What's the deal here? We paid a lot of money for these Adobe
products, you'd think they'd work together! Or that they would at
least offer free support ! Please someone help me!!

dont know why. But I
fix it using Flash to import/export each fullmotion in
version 7 with AS
1.0 and "import" this files to the respective slide to change
for the older
one.
I hope that captivate´s team fix it in the next update.

No, only the current version is available for purchase. If you had previously purchased an earlier version, then you would be able to access that through your Adobe account.

Adobe Presenter 9 and PowerPoint 2013 - Missing Import Audio from PowerPoint button

I am only able to intermitantly use the Import button in Adobe Presenter 9 to Import Audio from PowerPoint. Why would I be able to do it on some presentations but not all? I thought it was an audio conversion issue but even when I convert the audio (when prompted by PowerPoint) it doesn't always allow me to import it.

I have found a solution if the original PowerPoint was a ppt file, follow these steps:
File > Save As a pptx file
Close PowerPoint (this helps with not corrupting the file)
Re-open the pptx file
File > Convert
Save with a new file name (this helps with not corrupting the file)
You should now have the Import from Presentation button if you go to the Presenter tab and click the Import button
I have not found a solution for pptx files yet.

How to update Adobe Presenter 8.01?

I am trying to do presentations with animated inking on a tablet and the quality is so poor (I have to use ppt instead of pptx in the native inking). I have to convert them to images. I'm hoping that they work in presenter 8.02, but I can't figure out how to get an update. I found a link here earlier this afternoon, but searching does not give me the same link. I also can't find the FAQ - it might be there, but I can't seem to find presenter FAQs.

I was running 8.0.1. The update within the presenter ribbon did not report 8.0.2. Also, the 'Adobe Application Manager' does not seem to know about Adobe Presenter, so it reports no update. But I was finally able to update to 8.0.2 from another link that I found in the forum. It did not fix my issue with inking. Also, I have some issues with animating equations. Note that the inking issues are shown in the bottom links here. Please let me know if the prpkg package is what you need. My workaround is to convert these objects to pictures, and then they can be animated. This makes an extra step for every animation, plus they lose the ability to be edited.

Some of the problems are due to incompatibility of the new MS equations with the .ppt format, I think, but there are other issues. You can hear in the audio a description of what I see during recording. The only way that works is to use MS 3.0 equations or MathType equations and paste images of the equations as shown in one of the slides at the end. It does not work to embed them.

PowerPoint experienced a serious problem with the 'adobe presenter powerpoint com addin' add-in.

I've installed Adobe Presenter V7.0.7 Build 7746. When I open an existing PowerPoint file and try and use Presenter, I get the following error: PowerPoint experienced a serious problem with the 'adobe presenter powerpoint com addin' add-in. If you have seen this message multiple times, you should disable this add-in and check to see if an update is available. Do you want to disable this add-in?
No, I don't want to disable it. When I click No, PowerPoint stops working. I get a message that says: Microsoft PowerPoint has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Widows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. My only choice is to click the Close program button.
When I open the PPT file again, I get the same "experienced a serious problem" message. If anyone has a solution to this, I'd appreciate knowing what it is. It took me a while just to get the Presenter option to appear in the PowerPoint toolbar. Now that I have it, it's not working.

1. The file I'm having issues with was not created using any version of Presenter. It is simply a PowerPoint file.
2. The file is a PPT not PPTX.
3. I am running Windows7 and Office 2010.
I think I might have found the solution to the problem. I opened the PPT file and saved it as a PPTX file. Then I clicked the Presenter option in the PowerPoint toolbar and was able to select different Presenter options with no issues. I opened other PPTX files and I did not get the error window stating 'PowerPoint experienced a serious problem with the 'adobe presenter powerpoint com addin' add-in'.
This seems to work. So, it appears that any PPT file needs to be saved as a PPTX file before using Presenter. If you have another solution that I might be able to keep in my back pocket (in case this happens again and what I did does not work), then please answer. Otherwise, I'm good now.

Where do I find my Adobe Presenter serial number?

Hello,
I am brand new to Presenter 7, using it with MS Office 2010 (adobe just added support for Office 2010, hurray!).
When I attempt to install, it prompts me to enter the serial number, however, I cannot find it. The only serial number on the software box is for Acrobat 9 Pro extended, which I installed successfully. I cannot locate a serial number for Presenter 7. I've attempted to use the Acrobat 9 Pro serial number to install Presenter but it gives me an error (invalid serial number).
Does anyone know how I might locate my serial number for Presenter 7?

I suppose you have a valid Acdrobat 9 Pro Extended Serial Key
So please try out the following:
1) Install and Activate Acrobat on the system on which you are trying to install Presenter
2) Download and install Presenter(the one which installs on Office 2010) from the website
·         Close PowerPoint if running
·         Go to following Presenter Install location
o    <OS DRIVE>\Program Files\Adobe\Presenter 7\AMT
·         Rename AdobeConfig.xml and application.sif file to some other name say AdobeConfig.xml_bk and application.sif_bk
Reopen PowerPoint and access Presenter functionality.
It should work, otherwise it will ask to run and license Acrobat first on that machine.

Adobe Presenter

One of the reasons I bought Acrobat 9 Pro Extended was to get Adobe Presenter. We use it all the time. I also have the CS 5.
Imagine my disappointment that the Adobe marketing people decided to get rid of Pro Extended for version X and require me to get the Acrobat X Suite if I still want Presenter. At $799, that is not an option! And especially dumb when it would also make me buy yet another copy of PhotoShop CS5, which I already have. (and what does photoshop have to do with Acrobat anyway?)
Did they talk to customers about this? Have they considered people like me?
It certainly seems to be discouraging the use of Presenter! I will have to look for another option.

Presenter is a Power Point only add in. It will not show up
in any other office programs. Also, Presenter 6.2 is out. You
should get it from your getting started link on your Connect
Enterprise Server Home Page.

Adobe Presenter Theme

Hello Group:
I recently got set up with Adobe Presenter and I am trying to
customize the theme of my presentation. I went in and set up a
theme through theme editor and checked the Presenter Name and
Presenter Logo checkboxes. When I go into publish, under
"Presentation Information" Presenter name is set to None. I can't
click on it to change it. If I click on "Server Settings" the
correct presenter is listed.
When I publish the presentation neither the Presenter Name or
Logo show. Only the title of the presentation shows.
Suggestions?

Selecting a presenter for the presentation is not a part of
Server Settings.
You need to go into Slide Properties and select a presenter
to be associated with the slides (CTRL + A if you want to assign
the presenter to all the slides, then Edit in the lower left hand
side). If you don't have a presenter associated with the slides,
then no information will be show.

Download more Interactions in Adobe presenter

Hello,
I'm using Adobe Presenter, and I'd like to download more interactions. There's a button in the Interactions Menu (called "Télécharger davantage" = "Download more"), but the link where it's pointed is dead. Is there a way to download new interactions (quizz, scheme, ...).

The presentation is huge. I can't send. However, even on a single slide presentation when I add an interaction it does not work.
Delete - for exampe if I try to use a process tab interaction, it starts with 4 tabs, but I only want 3 tabs. How can I delete a tab.
The label on the tab is too small - I need to put 3 words on it, can't I shrink text size or use more of tab.
When I enter a graphic using the icon, it is not moveable and is not size right.
I don't see how I can add text, etc to the interactions. It seems to freeze, the instructions for how to edit interactions is very poor, so though very technical, I don't understand how to edit/add my own content to an interaction. Aren't there more robust instructions with maybe a video demonstration on how to use, edit/customize interactions?
Is there an option for allowing Flash that I should be setting on my computer? That seems to be a potential problem, like enabling java?

FlashVars in Adobe Presenter

I am trying to set FlashVars on a SWF inserted through Adobe Presenter. I right-click, go to Properties and bring up the inspector that allows me to configure the SWF's properties. There is a FlashVars entry there, but every time I enter a value into the field, it immediately disappears. I can hit Enter, hit Tab or click away and it happens the same way. I put in a value and poof! it disappears.
I have tried this with PPT 2003 and 2007 and with Presenter 6 and 7. I have had another person test this with PPT 2007 and Presenter 7 with the same result. I can't seem to find anything on this out there on the Web or here on the Adobe site. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know how to fix it? Please help!
