Adobe Presenter Quick Time requirements

Hi.
I am from an organization in Singapore.
I wish to enquire on a software product: Adobe Presenter for Windows.
One of our users wished to purchase the above-mentioned software but noted that one of the requirements is Apple Quick Time. Is Quick Time provided / integrated in the installation package or need to download and install it separately? We are not allowed to install any Apple software in our systems as it is blacklisted.
Is it necessary to have Quick Time in order to use Adobe Presenter?
Kindly advise.
Thank you.

Quicktime is required for importing/ exporting certain file types, but not necessarily for the program itself. Really depnds what you are actualyl trying to do. QT is a free download from Apple.

I cannot get adobe or quick time to download on my Mac Air.  Does anyone know how?  What do you use instead

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Consider yourself lucky that your MacBook is still working. Now, turn it off. Wine may have damaged other parts of your computer.
Then, take the MacBook to an Apple Store or reseller. It will be a very expensive repair, as it's not covered by warranty and the logic board has to be replaced. In some cases, it may be better to get a new MacBook.
If you can't take it to an Apple Store, contact with Apple > http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

  • Quick Time  requires a QuickTime.msi file to install? Not installing?

Ok, I uninstalled Quick Time, because i h8 it, but now iTunes says it requires quick time. so i go to the apple website, get the installer and when i go to install it it gives me a message about quicktime.msi in my appdata\local\temp... folder, and I cant install quicktime without quicktime. Help? Plz... I have $130 on my itunes and I want to buy music.
P.S. I have also tried to uninstall itunes too, and then install them both again, but it still gives me the message "Quick time could not be installled..." or sumtin' like that! HELP?

If you're getting a missing QuickTime.msi message, I'd try the following procedure.
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from Microsoft:
[Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301]
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and select "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Reboot the PC and try another QuickTime install. Does it go through any better this time?

This URL will only be accessible from your computer. Are you set up as a server? If so, provide the server's path to the file. Otherwise you will need to upload the file to an internet server like DropBox (or other free service) or send it "peer-to-peer" if too large to be emailed. (I also have a LaCie CloudBox but you would have to have Apple's compatible version of Java turned on and active in both the system and browser to run the JumpLoader applet via LaCie's MyNAS login access.)

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated 12 to the 12.1 Update? If not, please do so using an opened project's Help Menu/Update.
The latest version of QuickTime is a requirement for Premiere Elements. Among other things, without it you will not have QuickTime export presets when you get to the Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime exports. So, please download and install latest version of QuickTime to computer with Premiere Elements 12/12.1. QuickTime like Premiere Elements requires that it be run with you as Administrator. Is your User Account one with Administrative Privileges?

  • Is there an app to download so you can view videos requiring quick time?

Is there an app to download so you can view video requiring quick time? I'm a new apple user and have read that adobe flash is not an option. Hoping there is something out there to download

Anything that plays in QuickTime can be "shared" to iTunes and synced to videos.

  • How do I get the Adobe Presenter trial .exe file to run? I'm getting an error requiring placement into a designated folder,

Getting an error trying to run the Adobe Presenter trial .exe file because it is requiring that the file be placed in a designated folder with the other downloaded file. How do I solve this problem?

Thanks, the offset command worked well. I did have to modify the script some more, there was really no reason for the first repeat loop using the offset command. Also, I had set my text item delimiters to tab for another script, and that was causing problems running this script. I think I have everything fixed now. This is the final version.
    set my_folder to choose folder
    tell application "Finder"
set myfolderstring to name of my_folder as string
set myfolderlist to every character of myfolderstring
    end tell
    set mycolorlist to {"A_Green", "B_Teal", "C_Purple", "D_Pink", "E_Yellow", "F_Orange", "G_Blue", "H_Black"}
set my_break to offset of "_" in myfolderstring
    set the_code to items 1 thru (my_break - 1) of myfolderlist
set the_code to the_code as string
repeat with i from 1 to number of items in mycolorlist
set the_color to item i of mycolorlist
    tell application "Finder"
    make new folder at my_folder with properties {name:the_code & "_" & the_color}
    end tell
    end repeat

  • Export Quick Time using Adobe Media Encoder...

I'm a Windows (vista) user and I rarely use the Quick Time options in the Adobe Media Encoder but nonetheless, I have in the past. I was called on today to export a Quick Time of a video for a Mac using client and every time I selected an Adobe preset under Quick Time, 'Custom' would appear where it should normally say something like 'Source to Download 256' or whatever. (Sorry I can't check now, I'm rendering a big project). So no matter what preset I picked, I'd get 'Custom' appearing as my choice. Is this normal or has something gone wrong in the innards!?
Sorry, I have no other computer to check with Premiere Pro CS3 installed.
    Thanks

Thanks for the input. So just to confirm, you're saying that if I choose one of the Adobe Presets under QuickTime, that that setting should STAY visible in the selection box. Yes? Just like the others. Windows Media, Adobe Flash, etc...
Because mine immediately changes to CUSTOM after I make a QuickTime selection. Also, it DOES NOT give me a file size estimate like the others. Does this make sense?
