Adobe Pro 9 - Cannot Update
Hello All,
Currently i have a issue with updating someone to the latest version of Adobe 9. Currently we are running 9.0.0 and i've been to the Adboe site and i cannot upgrade straight to 9.1.2. There isn't an update feature under the help menu. Any ideas on what i can do to update this?

Adobe Download Assistant cannot update itself
Hi,
My ADA 1.2 tries to update itself to version 1.2.4, but this is catch 22: the update dialog shows up, I click Download Now, then it downloads, and then the login dialogbox (Enter your Adobe ID) shows up, but it's hidden behind the update dialogbox so I can't enter anything. I tried to circumvent this by hitting the login button right after launching ADA, but it doesn't help – the update dialogbox shows up before I have a chance to enter anything into the login dialogbox.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8, CS6, Polish localisation.

How do I reinstall ADA? I have /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ and there:
- Adobe Acrobat XI Pro
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection
- Adobe Flash Professional CS6
- Flash Builder
None of them has an option to install ADA as a component. I removed ADA from /Applications (backuped a zipped version as an insurance), Now what?
I think a common problem is that my CS6 suite started as a trial version of CS6 Master Collection (EN), then I decided to buy the Creative Cloud (PL), so the previously downloaded software was authorized with Creative Cloud, bought in Polish Adobe Store. Additional problem is that Polish localization does not always behaves well with EN-versions of Adobe apps or EN-versions of infrastructure. And not all apps are available as PL, so sometimes I must use EN versions. Which I prefer anyway, due to historical reasons (I've been using Adobe products long before there were Polish version available). Too much complexity of the system. Depending on which app I launch (PL or EN) I get different updates in Adobe Help. Adobe Help does not see help updates for Lightroom 4 (which I bought separately, before Creative Cloud), it only sees LR3 help, which I used before upgrading to LR4. Etc, etc.

Cannot update Adobe Acrobat for Mac from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01
Hi all. I cannot update my Adobe Acrobat from 11.0.0 to 11.0.01. There's been some error during the installation of the update. I have tried uninstall and reinstall for several times but didn't help. The error log is as follows:

Bill@VT has the correct troubleshooting procedure though. Download the update and try updating locally rather than through the ARM updater. -

Error occurs also in Adobe Web and Design Premium CS 6 installation when installing just Adobe Pro X part of the install...Software updates to Acrobat that i attempt to install also have the same problem.

Macbook pro can't update software(iTunes, ML) or Adobe updates/products.
I recently bought a new Macbook Pro at the end of September 2012 which came with Mountain Lion. I then updated my Imac to Mountain Lion. I cannot update anything in my app store, including Itunes, and Moutain Lion updates. My Imac is also having the same problem. I also can't update my Adobe products or download Adobe products. Java also failed. Please Help!
I deleted my harddrive and reinstalled Mountain Lion. Still can't update nor install Adobe products. I am able to download apps from the App store.

Installed Acrobat X Pro in Windows 7. Downloaded update and tried to install. Got the following error message from the Adobe Acrobat Updater: "Update failed. The system cannot open the device or file specified." No error number displayed.
I then tried the Adobe update troubleshooting procedure: reinstall Reader or use a different browser (IE8 & Firefox 4). Still cannot update Acrobat. I was unable to check the Reader as no updates were available.
What do I do nex?. Any help would be appreciated.Acrobat version 10.0.0. Three updates are available 10.0.1 through 10.0.3. Downloaded by Acrobat "Help" and "Check for updates..." Is there another help menu to download from? I assume these are downloaded together. How can I download or install one at a time? Where is the downloaded file located? Where do I find the Adobe Updater? Is there any way to do this download/install process manually?
While troubleshooting this problem the error message changed when I tried the install:
This is now the only message I get. It appears that the update is being downloaded correctly. I tried the Microsoft Fix It wizard as recommended in the Adobe Troubleshooting page -- didn't work.
And I still can't download updates. Still need help! -
I recently signed up for a one month trial of adobe pro. I logged in. I cannot convert a single page of PDF file to word or Excel with this trial. I just get the request to sign up for a year. What good is the trial if I can't try it?

Please ensure that you are using Adobe Acrobat and not Reader to convert PDF file to word or excel.
Could you tell me whether it is a scanned document? Does this happen with all PDFs or any specific one?
Do you get any error message? What exactly happens when you try doing the same?

Instead of getting a wireless card for the Mac Pro, you might want to consider getting an 802.11ac wireless bridge device that would enable you to connect more than one device to it by Ethernet cable and to eventually take advantage of the faster 802.11ac wireless standard.

OK. Then the next thing to try is to right-click a PDF file, select Open With, Choose Default Program, then select Reader from the list and tick the "Always use this application..." box, and click OK.

What are you actually trying to do? Don't forget that Acrobat is not really an editor, but provides some tools to allow minor edits. If the file has security set, you may no be able to do anything.

The cumulative install is only available with version 10 and later.
