Adobe Pro 9 installation

I'm looking for information on how to make a network unattended install of Adobe Pro 9. To be more clear I want to:
Have Adobe 9 setup files on a server share and be able to let people click the setup.exe or adobe .msi file and it run fully or mostly unattended. I want it to include the Serial, Company, Location, etc etc.
I tried Orca and some other program, but I do not really know how to use them to well. I've heard about some Tuner program??? what is this and where can I get it?
I've tried the msiexec.exe /a AcroPro.msi
but it just puts files on the server share and doesn't let me put in any serial or any other information.
Thanks for any help!

    HI Steve,
Are you still facing this issue?
I would suggest to install either Internet explorer 10 and Reader XI.

    Hi Kashmore,
Seems like the downloaded file was corrupt that could be because of either network restriction or the anti virus might have blocked it. My suggestion would be to try and download the product either by turning off the Antivirus or try a different network.

  • Installer Error Message with Adobe Pro IX

I have tried several times to download Adobe Pro IX with no success.  Today I keep getting an error message that states the installer is misconfigured.  Tried to download new installer and just keep getting the same error message.  I checked the system requirements and I have the correct version of Windows with the correct service pack and tons of disk space and meet all the other requirements.

  • Installation issues Adobe Pro X as a AAME package

    Hi there,
We have some installation issues with a created Adobe Pro X package.
This is a new problem, the same package was installed 4 months ago on a similar system (Windows 7 enterprise edition x64) and even on a Windows Server 2008 (terminal server).
The symptoms of this problem are:
When starting the .msi (in the "build" directory) the installer starts and disappears after a couple of minutes without a warning or error. You can see in the task manager that the installation was going on but then it stops.
There is no new directory "Adobe Pro X" in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe" directory.
I tested this on a new installed "fresh" installation of the Windows environment.
Do you guys know what to do?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi d.kieviet,
If the same package installed fine on another computer then we have to check the install logs to determine what might have gone wrong.
    To collect the logs:
Please install Acrobat via following command line: msiexec /i AcroPRO.msi /L*v c:\logs\acrobat.log
make sure there is ‘logs’ folder created under C:/ drive

  • Adobe Pro 9 MAC - no installation CD

I have a company serial for Adobe Pro 9 MAC but I don't have installation CD any longer, and I don't find it online. Can I install the version XI with the same serial, or where I can find the link?

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

  • Disable install questions during remote installation of Adobe Pro 9

I am attempting to perform a remote installation of Adobe Pro 9 on various devices located at different sites.  By using the Adobe Customization 9 I have configured the installation as I need.  The one issue that I can not seem to find a resolution for is: how do I disable the installation questions popping up on the screen when I am conducting a silent installation?  I'm assuming there is an option within the Direct Editor to perform this action.  Where is it located?

  • Adobe Pro 9 Installation Replaces Windows Fonts

I could use some help with a font issue. We have an internally developed application that uses the Lucida Sans Regular font that's supplied with Windows. The font information lists it as version 1.67 and it's 64K in size. When we installed Adobe Pro 9, the Lucida Sans Regular font and several other Lucida fonts were removed from C:\Windows\Fonts. They were replaced with shortcuts to new Lucinda fonts in the D:\program files\adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Designer 8.2\jre\lib\fonts folder. The new Lucida fonts in the Acrobat fonts directory are a different version and different size. The new fonts installed by Adobe Pro are 682K in size and listed as version 1.20. Our internally developed app isn't working well with the Adobe installed fonts. The fonts no longer display correctly in our app, the window sizes have changed slightly and some buttons have shifted position and no longer work. If we revert back to the old, Windows supplied fonts, the app works normally. Our app is built off .Net 3.5.
Is there a reason the Adobe Pro 9 installation replaces the Windows fonts? Is there a place to review the differences between the fonts? They are both caleld Lucida Sans Regular.
    I'd appreciate any insights.
    Thanks.

  • Adobe acrobat X pro installation takes up over 6gb of space

    Hi!
I'm not really an acrobat expert. I mainly use premiere, after effects and photoshop.
I mostly use acrobat to read academic articles in pdf format and I make notes to those articles with underlining etc.
I have used acrobat to open hundreds of pdf files in the last 6 months.
My disk space is always running out so I thought I would delete some unused applications.
I noticed that my Adobe Acrobat installation takes up a HUGE amount of space on my hard drive.
    Why is this?
Is there some sort of cache that I'm unaware of?
Thank you for the answers in advance

The main cache people don't know about is the Windows Installer cache, which often has copies of the installed software, and is needed to uninstall or update. You have an old release with many, many updates, each of which will be using space in the cache. I also rather doubt the real accuracy of these figures. In any case he Windows Installer cache cannot be moved, which means that offering a choice of install location is increasingly pointless.

  • Installation of Adobe Pro XI on desktop and laptop

We have Adobe Pro XI on our desktop (purchased in full 4/25/13) and we want to put a copy on our laptop. How do we do that?

If you have the disk and your laptop takes disks then use the disk to intsall it. You can also download the file(s) thru the page linked below and then install and activate using the serial number from your purchase.

  • Acrobat XI Pro installation failed

    MacBook Pro 13" Retina
    OSX 10.8.5
    3 GHz Intel Core i7
    8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Used Akamai NetSession Interface.
Downloaded from Adobe website. After download, clicked on installer, entered serial number, quickly went through installing until right at the end: "THE INSTALLATION FAILED: Installer encountered an error that caused installation to fail. Contact manufacturer." Part of the message cut-off abruptly.
Then, it appeared that the installation did occur but when I opened the software the interface didn't look "smooth." Then almost immediately software update stated Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.04 was available for download, but computer wouldn't allow it to be installed citing error on initial problem. I uninstalled XI Pro and tried to download again from Adobe website but the window instantly opened for Akamai and said download complete. The same problem occured when I tried to install again, with the same error message.

    Thank you Anish.
The software now appears to be working for some reason, and even though Error 1301 appeared when trying to update to Acrobat 11.0.04, it shows that I am running 11.0.04. There is something going on in there but so far so good.

  • Is there a way to do an install of Adobe Pro XI without entering key until after the install?

Is it possible to set up an install of Adobe Pro XI that doesnt require the licence key to be entered at the time of the install, but instead upon the first time the application is run? We have various users with different license keys but want to automate one installation and just have them enter the key after the install has complete, when they go to use the software the first time. We are looking to set this up in SCCM 2012 R2. Thanks in advance for any insight!
