Adobe Pro 9 Printing Problems

I am using Vista Business, and Adobe Pro 9. Many times, when I try to print to PDF (usually lots of graphics) I get the following error message:
Unable to find "PDF Resource" files
C:\Users\UserK\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\AdobePDF\Settings\%@![email protected]
Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?
I have selected yes many times, have gone through the re-installation process, but next time I try to print to PDF with and the source document has lots of graphics, I get the same error message and can't print.
Any ideas?

Could you please send me the link? Thank you

  • Adobe 11 A3 Printing Problems

    Hi,
We are having problems printing from adobe documents from Adobe 11 when printing A3 documents.  It will print out the first page OK, then on subsquent pages it will askew the print and put it off the page.  We are using Windows 7 Pro and printing to a new Lexmark C925 A3 printer.
    Any suggestions ?

I went to the pull-down menu, selected "Print" and then at the bottom of the print window, there were 4 buttons (in addition to "OK" and "Cancel"):  "Print Tips" "Page Setup" "Advanced" and "Summarize Comments."  Under "Advanced" there is a "Print as Image" box near the bottom of the new "Advanced Print Setup" window that opens.  Once you check the  "Print as Image" box, you should be ok for any Adobe documents you open in the future.

I've encountered the same problem but it seemed to start after my latest WIndows upgrade.  (I have Vista - what Window program are you running?)
I have not been able to find your "print as image" solution so I'm still stuck at the moment.   How did you find the "print as image" choice?

  • Officejet Pro K5400 printing problems after update to Mavericks OSX 10.9

    Hi,
I have printing problems with my Officejet Pro K5400 after update to Mavericks OSX 10.9.
Now after printing 1 page the printer prints an extra page with '2345X' sentence on it. As this problem started right after updating, I suppose there is a problem with an update.

This patch did solve our problem with the K5400 feeding a "blank sheet".
    Thank you.

  • Safari adobe pdf preview printing problem

    Hello,
I use HP laserjet color 1600. After downloaded Maverick, I can't print pdf preview from Safari anymore. Error is "filter failed" or "bit depth and / or color not supported by threshold set".
Problem is that this is an official dynamic pdf document protected, that you can only fill in on line; I can't dowload it as regular pdf file.
Still before I installed maverick, I could always print those type of pdf preview from Safari.
So I already updated java and adobe, as my printer software, and I already launched "system updates"... I mean after I install Maverick.
    But I'm still stuck
Any tips to solve it ?
    Thanks

Does anybody know if this has been fixed on 10.1.3?

  • Acrobat 9 Pro - Slow Printing Problem on Dell 3000cn

I have just downloaded Acrobat 9 Pro as a trial, I want to buy it but not if this problem continues - maybe there is a fix??
I have Acrobat 9 Pro installed on my local machine and I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. I have a networked (through a server) printer it is a Dell 3000cn that I print several emailed PDF files on everyday. Since downloading this new program (it required me to remove all other versions of Adobe prior to install - which I did) it seriously takes 2 minutes from when I hit the print button to actually open the printer selection screen. Once I have selected the printer (in this case it is the 3000cn - it is the only color printer) it takes another 2 minutes to actually print the document. Normally I wouldn't be bothered by a process taking so long but I have to do this with an average of 20-30 documents per day (which means that I end up spending around 1 1/2 hours trying to print).
I have combed through the forums here and can't find anything that helps my specific problem. I have checked with Dell and they say that the printer does not have a PostScript driver (which I have read may help my problem)...
    Any ideas??

Make a local printer your DEFAULT and see if that helps
I only use a local printer (with version 8x) so didn't keep the link, but there is previous discussion about problems if you don't have a local printer as default... and, if I remember correctly, a link to download a "dummy" printer driver which you may install and set as default

  • Acrobat Pro 8 Printing Problems with Xerox 252 Fiery

printer: Xerox 252 with Fiery Controller
    Software: Acrobat Pro 8
    OS: WinXp pro
The problem occurs when I am printing a binder that consists of 8x11 and 11x17's. The printer locks up and does not print. We have had the Xerox techs come out but after numerous trouble shooting efforts we came to a conclusion that there is an issue with Acrobat 8.
Also, in order to print an 8x11 or 11x17 there is a need to go through and set the file size for each time we print. The check box "print by pdf source size" is checked and we are still having problems.
I've had no issue with Acrobat 7 and the problems I'm having are with Acrobat pro 8.

Correction it's a Xerox Docucolor 242 PS with Fiery

  • Linux FC10 Adobe Flash 10 Print problem

    Hello,
    In Linux FC10, I cannot successfully print a Flash-document
on my Epson Stylus D120 Printer.
For instance, on the following site, with the right mouse
button, I am able to make a print the map.
    www.plattegronden.nl/bergenopzoom
Then you will see a map, which is an Adobe Flash Player 10

    Name : flash-plugin
    Arch : i386
    Version : 10.0.22.87
The print copy is printed with big steps in a big speed, so
the result is a low resolution with black matrix points, and bad

Trying to solve the problem, I did search more printer

    CUPS
    but not successfully.
Hoping the problem is clear and good understandable.

  • Adobe Pro 8.1 Problems updating, and more

I originally installed a new Arobat Pro 8.0, subsequently updated to 8.1.
    1. Recently, when i get notices of an update, i run the update.  It proeeds, finishes then, with no explanation announces that the pdate failed.
    2.  For no reason I can spot, after using thwe program to create a PDF, Adobe leaves a "Creating Adobe PDF "icon" on my task bar.  It can't be deleted.
    3.  If I click Help | About, I get a popup showing links for patents and credits.  Both links work, but otherwise Adobe is frozen.  i have to use th task manager to close it
    Otherwise the program works.
    My questions.
    1.  Any ideas on these problems?
    2.  Does Adobe have a reduced price "Upgrade version" for 9.1, or is it just like starting over?

AA9.1 would be an update for you (at 9.1.2 currently I think). Issues that come up with the updates can sometimes be avoided by downloading the updates from the adobe.com at the download>update page. You generally have to install all of the relevant updates IN ORDER, no skipping. That may be the issue for you. Also, it is best to be logged in as the administrator and have anti-virus turned off during installation. That is true for many programs, but for various versions of Acrobat it has been a requirement. Don't know if that helps at all. Bill

  • Adobe Reader X Printing Problem

I upgraded to 'X', am running Windows XP and have an HP LaserJet 4100N printer. I mostly print out sets of loan documents, average 100 pages per set, mixed legal and letter size pages. When I upgraded to Adobe Reader X, legal size pages were randomly not printing the bottom 1/3 or so of each page. Since I travel to have these docs signed, it created quite a problem for me when it first happened. I could print smaller batches (1-5 pages, legal size only) and it worked, but printing the whole set, mixed paper sizes, I continued to have this problem.
Luckily I had kept an installation for Adobe Reader 9, so I uninstalled 'X' and reinstalled '9'. voila - the problem disappeared.
But I am hoping someone from Adobe will read this and work on this problem.

I can confirm this problem.  Rolling back to version 9.4 fixes it.
One of my clients is a travel notary and ran into this issue today.  All print settings were set up per Adobe's instructions at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/332/332720.html#main_Mixed_sizes when the problem occurred.  We had recently upgraded to Reader X, and had never had the probem before.  I eventually traced it to a problem in the new version.  Uninstalling and installing version 9.4 fixed the issue.  I cannot include the actual document due to privacy concerns, but I will include a screen shot that has been sanitized.

  • MacBook Pro - Canon printer problem.

    Question
I have a 13inch MacBook Pro and a Canon iP4500 printer. My problem is that using the latest Canon drivers I am unable to set the printer driver properties - printing quality etc.
Does anyone out there know how to do this.
I am running Photoshop Elements 8 and trying to print from the editor. The photos print at low quality with bad banding.

My problem is that using the latest Canon drivers I am unable to set the printer driver properties - printing quality etc.
Does anyone out there know how to do this.
I'm not sure just what you're asking, but you set ink, paper, quality, etc. in the OS X system dialog box that opens up after you click in the PSE print dialog box. There's a pulldown menu in the middle of the page. If you just have the little stubby window, click the arrow to the right of the printer's name to expand the dialog box so you can see the menu.

  • HP Photosmart Pro B9180 - print problem - color

The photo output is not the correct color.  I tried cleaning and calibartaing but tere does not seem to be
magenta printing.  the reoprt says the printhead is oK, but it is not printing correctly ?
    Any ideas ?

Hard Reset – While printer is powered ON, pull
the power cord from the printer then from the
wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to wall
and printer. This will trigger a ‘dirty power up’
and restore the printer to a known good
condition (if it is possible). No user settings are
    lost with a ‘hard reset’.
This ‘Hard Reset’ is one of the most powerful
tools to use when the printer hardware is not
    functioning properly!
Although I am working on behalf of HP, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

  • Adobe 8 Write/Print Problems

I'm trapped: can't create a pdf from my Adobe 8 standard after I finished my 30-day trial of 9 Pro, but decided not to purchase it. The system keeps asking me for my 9 serial # and says that Adobe is not installed even though the reader works.

If you uninstalled the trial version, you broke AA8 most likely. Installing Reader or the trial on a machine with a working version of Acrobat is not a good idea, and now you know why. You may try the control panel and do a repair on the AA8 installation. Be sure that AA9 is removed first. If the repair does not do the job, you may have to reinstall. I hope you keep your CDs and register your product and such.
