Adobe Pro uninstall not recognized by Creative Cloud.

I uninstalled Adobe Pro from my MAC using the uninstaller in Applications/Utilities, but it still shows as 'up-to-date' in Creative Cloud.  I need Creative Cloud to rest so that I can install it again.

Hi Paulie1562,
Please follow this KB article to fix this issue.

  • Premiere pro is not appeared in Creative Cloud for free trial

I tried to use free trial of Adoebe Premiere pro, so I downloaded Creative cloud.
But when I logged into Creative Cloud to download it, I couldn't find "Premiere Pro" on the list of apps in Creative Cloud.
Can you tell me how can I find Premiere Pro app and start to use free trial?

If an application does not appear in the programs list, it normally means your machine does not meet the system requirements for the software.  Here is a link to find out the Premiere Pro requirements:

  • New license is not recognized (OSX, Creative Cloud)

    Hi,
Hopefully someone from Adobe can help me sort this out. I've purchased a Creative Cloud subscription. Now when I start Photoshop CS6 it wants me to enter my serial number. However, when I do so I get a message saying my serial number is not valid and it asks me to contact support.
    So here I am
    Thanks,
    Janneke

With Creative cloud there is no concept of Serial Number and the installation is being done through the AAM wherein the download and install happens silently.
Now , the question is how exactly you are trying to install the software ,
    1) If you go http://creative.adobe.com website and download the software from there , it will not ask for your serial number (just Adobe ID) and the installation will be done silently via AAM
    2) If you have to had the Trial version of CS6 software and you want to serialize it, then in that case open the application and on the trial screen , click "License the Software"
    3) You have not installed the software yet but installing it right now , but you downloaded it as the trial from Adobe.com , in this case install the software as Trial and follow step 2.
Depending on the installer and method of installation , the serialization varies.

  • Adobe Pro X not recognizing .doc or .docx files for conversion to PDF (looking to batch convert Word-- PDF

I am using Adobe Pro X through my university and when I click on add files, it will not recognize that I have word files in my folders. My purpose is to batch convert many word files to PDF, however, if Adobe Pro X won't recognize allow the word files to appear, I don't think I can convert them. Help is appreciated!

    Do you have Word installed?
Is it a compatible version of Word?

Newly installed Acrobat will NOT open from Creative Cloud app on Desktop using Windows 7 Pro - what's the problem?

the cc desktop app is used to install and update cc programs (and a few other thinigs).  but that does not include 'opening' the installed programs.
click your start button or your program files directory to find the acrobat executable to launch acrobat (and any of your other apps, adobe or otherwise).

  • Help! Adobe Media Encoder disappeared from my Creative Cloud

    2 issues.
#1. Was using Adobe Media Encoder (part of my creative cloud subscription) .. it kept saying i needed to activate it all of a sudden.. so (am on a mac) dragged it to trash, and went to adobe application manager to re-install, all of a sudden, it's not there. So then went to online https://creative.adobe.com/apps to download it.. it's not there either! What do I do?
#2. ADOBE YOUR ONLINE SUPPORT SUCKS. I contacted these online chat people in India 3 times and each time they disconnected me or screwed it up. WTF. seriously. You have officially gone down in terms of reputation with me.
    Please help.
As per the support issue, i'll deal with some Adobe Exec separately for that.
    thanks

Why would you trash your application?  Dragging apps to the Trash doesn't activate, de-activate or uninstall the software.
Media Encoder is not a separate software download.  Like Bridge, it comes bundled with other software like Flash Pro, Premier, After Effects....

  • Lightroom is not installed but Creative Cloud thinks it is!

I have completely uninstalled the entire Creative Cloud set of products including Lightroom 4.3 and Lightroom 5 (both 64-bit).  The icons changed to generic icons, indicating that the application link was broken, due to the fact that the product was no longer installed.
When I go to Adobe's CC website to try and download Lightroom 5 after signing in, my web browser asks which application I want to use to open the download link.  I choose the Creative Cloud application but nothing updates in CC Desktop.  I am on Windows 7 64-bit SP1.
I do not know why Creative Cloud Desktop still thinks those apps are installed and does not give me the button to install it.  Instead it shows "up-to-date".
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S.  I also checked with the Adobe Cleaner Tool to make sure no CC apps were installed.

Lehestro (and anyone else having this problem on a Mac), I had this same problem tonight and solved it. I got a new hard drive for my Mac Pro today and did a clean install of Mavericks on it. When I installed Adobe Creative Cloud for the first time, it thought I alfeady had Lightroom installed and "Up to date" for some reason even though I hadn't installed anything but the Creative Cloud Desktop. It's possibly because it detected the application on my old hard drive, which I had mounted to transfer files to the new drive.
Anyway, I first tried installing the Lightroom trial application because I read that Cretive Cloud would update it to stop asking for a serial number. I installed the trial, then moved all of my relevant Lightroom settings over from the old hard drive to the new one so I could keep all my settings. I got most of these files from the various preferences files inside "~/Library/Preferences" (including all files and folders that start with "Adobe" as well as "com.Adobe" and "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/". I believe that's where all the files I transferred were. And of course I copied my Lightroom catalog, backups, and previews files to my user folder as well (just do a Google search for "moving lightroom files to new computer" and you'll see what files to move). I used the same directory structure on my new hard drive so there would be minimal confusin when moving all my files over.
While that did keep all of my settings quite nicely (and I mean everything, including camera calebration defaults that I had changed and things like that), it still asked me for a serial number.
What eventually worked was simple. I dragged the "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.app" icon out of my Applications folder and into the trash. I then logged out of Creative Cloud, shut down my computer, unmounted the old hard drive, rebooted, and logged back into CC. Once I did that, Lightroom wasn't listed in my installed apps anymore, and became available as a new download. I downloaded and installed it from CC, and voila! Now it launches without asking for a serial number, and it still kept all my settings that I dragged over from the old hard drive. The only thing I had to do was go to the Plugins Manager and re-install my Picasa and SmugMug plugins. When I did that, it still even still retained their settings and had all the images in the galleries I had built on and published via my old system.

  • CCP installed softwares not detected by Creative Cloud app

We've noticed this way back when Adobe Creative Cloud Packager was first launched but it's been getting annoying lately as our company has been hiring new staffs (like massively).
The repeating questions the tech support gets asked a lot is, why we haven't installed Photoshop or Illustrator or whatever software they need to use because the Creative Cloud App isn't able to detect them.
Some staff end up pressing 'install' again for every app, resulting in waste of bandwidth and time. We spend a lot of effort educating people but you can't cure stupidity.

Ashubijalwan1 please acknowledge you received my reply and you understand the problem.
Thank you, Bjossi13 for supporting this case. I do not see why Creative Cloud Desktop App will see Acrobat Pro, Flash Builder Premium and Edge Animate CC, but not the remaining softwares.
This create lots of confusion among users. I don't want to stereotype people but you shouldn't expect graphic designers to understand computer software quirks.

  • Adobe Ideas doesn't sync to Creative Cloud (browser)?

The files I have in Adobe Ideas on my iPad doesn't sync to Creative Cloud on my browser.
I have activated the sync function on the ipad and it says that the files are synced and I have used 1% (12mb of 2gb).
I go to creative.adobe.com and under Files it says 'The Folder Is Empty' - what can I do?
    Thank you

I hate to tell you, but I am yet one more user who cannot get Adobe Ideas files to sync to Creative Cloud.
I am using Adobe Ideas version 2.8.1 (52469) on an iPad3, using iOS 8.1. I have confirmed that I have a good wi-fi connections. I can access the web using all my other apps - Safari, Twitter, Feedly, etc.
When I try syncing files in Adobe Ideas, the Creative Cloud Files menu has "only sync when wi-fi is enabled" selected. Sync process shows "Awaiting connection." Storage level is 9% or 175MB of 2GB.
I downloaded the Creative Cloud app onto my Surface Pro tablet and checked to see if my Ideas files showed up there. I can see the files from Adobe Draw, Lines, Sketch, and other apps, but the Ideas files do not show up anywhere. I checked in both the mobile creations area and in the main files area.
I would like to migrate my Ideas files to Adobe Draw. Please let me know how I can get this done.
    I appreciate your help!

  • I have downloaded creative cloud but I do not have the creative cloud icon on my computer?

I have a membership to Adobe and have access to all the CC programs through the Icon "Adobe Application Manager". But I do not have a Creative Cloud icon in my applications? I also cannot sync fonts from Typekit as it says "Desktop font sync is not available on this operating system or device". When I click on the "learn more" it says the program only runs on "OS X 10.7 and higher", even though my computer is up to date. I can access all my creative cloud programs,  Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign etc... Which confuses me as to why it is saying I cannot sync fonts as Typekit/Creative Cloud will not operate on any systerm lower then OS X 10.7..
    Ahg, confused. Help!
