Adobe pro XI crashes regularly.

I have Acrobat XI Pro - and Windows 7 (64-bit). Acrobat crashes regularly - every time I use it. I get to use it once (e.g., I can add merge some pages to a document). However, once I save it and then try to open another document, the program freezes up and I get a "Not Responding"

Hi Sam,
Doing repair disc permissions, normally should not create problems, reason being this is Apple's own built-in utility.
I am guessing there might have been permission issues already on your computer and repair disk permission tried to resolve that problem. But if the problem is severe these things may happen.
I would suggest you first you may try it again if that didn't resolve you should contact Apple support. They may help to repair the permissions.

I assume you mean Acrobat Pro, but what version and what OS? Did you update your version to the most current form?

Adobe pro x crashes when I try to distribute a form.

I have created a form in adobe pro x. When I try to distribute the form via email to a group of people the system tells me that it has encountered an error with Windows and shuts down. The system allowed me to distribute a couple months ago, but now I get nowhere. I am using a shared drive to house the PDF file and all users have access. I have reloaded Adobe and rebuilt the file, but I continue to get the message. I need help.

I had a similar problem and found help for it. Go to the "Advanced" menu and select Extend features in Adobe Reader. That will enable rights which may resolve your problem. If that doesn't work, there is a really helpful guy in here, Robert Levine. You may want to ask him directly.

Adobe Pro X crashes while editing the forms

Hi, I've been using Acrobat X Pro to edit forms for weeks now with no problems.
Yesterday it has started crashing as soon as I entering Form Edit mode. I reinstalled it and it did not help.
I am running it on Windows 7 home edition (64 bit).
Please help.

I open any PDF in Adobe X, and go to Form -> Edit. It sais that Document cannot be edited and suggests to Save a Copy.
Ok, I save a copy.
Now, I open up a COPY that I have just saved and go to Forms-> Edit.
Fields are being highlighted, but when I click on any field Adobe just crashes.
Also I have another problem - some of the fields on the document become uneditable. I do not understand why I was able to change them before and cannot change them now. This is very frustrated.
I am on Win 7, 64 bit. I have Adobe X and Reader X installed on this PC.
Please Help.

Mac Pro 2012 crashes regularly after loading Mavericks

I upgraded the OS to Mavericks, direct from Lion, on my Mac Pro 2012 computer, since when it crashes and restarts spontaneously. Herewith the reports. Can anyone offer a straightforward solution? There is no sign of Google inspired crashes, as with other users. Is Mavericks named to draw attention to its spontaneous behaviour??

Adobe Pro X crashes when trying to "Distribute"

Started seeing problem when I was viewing a pdf file. I was scrolling down rather fast and it crashed. Now I see crashes when I am trying to use "Distribute". Files which worked previously in "Distribute" now crash system also. I think it might be an update? Saw one update Feb 25, 2013 for Pro X and Reader X. Could this be issue? If so, how do I uninstall these updates? But looking for help before I do anything.Thanks........Pick ><>

I see in your Acrobat topic that you are on Windows. Can you check the event logs if there are any information on the crash you are experiencing?

Adobe Pro X crashes when trying to open Preferences

I am running version 10.1.8
My initial problem was that I could not open another PDF when I had one already open. So I came on here to figure out what was wrong. Most suggestions mentioned going to preferences and changing something, but when I select preferences Adobe freezes and I have to close it.
Any ideas?

Premiere Pro Windows crashing after recent updates

Machine specs: HP Z820 - zeon e5-2690 48gb ram quadro k5000. Since the recent updates & complete wipe of the system & fresh install, Premiere pro CC crashes regularly without any pattern. Using MXF files while editing if that helps-i did read a thread about that - but it was old. This is a new problem. The event viewer information:

Try finding MSVCR110.dll file on internet and replace it in the path C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR110.dll

I cannot send the crash report about the adobe flash plugin crash to Mozilla. It will not let me send!

the adobe flash plugin crashes regularly, especially since the last adobe flash update. Mozilla firefox is up to date. I am invited to send a crash report to Mozilla by clicking on the grey icon to send crash report but it will not send! when I click on it to send nothing happens!

Acrobat Pro X 10.1.6 is crashing regularly. We have CS5.5 on one machine and CS6 (cloud) on the other; both are crashing Acrobat. Sometimes it's a general 'encountered an issue . . ' failure, sometimes a DEP. I see a number of Acrobat X crashing issues, most are related to CS6.

What is your Acrobat XI version? If less than 11.0.09 I suggest you update to that latest version.

Adobe Pro 9.0 crashes on menu button clicks in Citrix

This bug is occuring while using Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.0 using Citrix MetaFrame Presentation server as a remote application. I have already posted this on the Citrix forums, but it might be worth a shot posting here to see if anyone can help.
This may sound like an oddball problem, and it is, but Adobe Acrobat 9.0 crashes whenever you click on any of the quick menu options. We have found a few ways around this issue, but some of the features eventually
bring you to a command that as soon as you click on it, the program crashes.
There is no error message, the program just disappears. I am able to run Adobe Pro just fine on the console, with all of the buttons working normally. But when accessed through the MetaFrame Presentation Server, it seems like the connection isn't functioning at 100%. Sometimes even right-clicking on a certain box will close the program.
One specific example, (the reason I can no longer dodge the problem) is the "Combine PDFs" feature. Obviously, clicking the "Combine" menu button will crash the program. But the same action is accessible through the file menu. However once you have that command open, the "Add File" button is the only way to select which files you wish to combine, and this button crashes the program. Now that I have no choice being that there is a feature our users need but cannot use, I am posting this question because my need is dire.
I have done many hours of research on this issue, and haven't had any luck. I've already tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Pro, making sure it has the latest updates, etc. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

1) I launch acropro 9 on the server, I go to the view->toolbars->tasks menu to the "tasks" toolbar (which cause the crash).
2) on the server, run regedit and go to current user\software\adobe\adobe acrobat\9.0 and export this hive on a file like acrobat9_user.reg
3) create a acro9pro.cmd file with
regedit /S n:\scripts\acrobat9pro_user.reg
@start "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\" Acrobat.exe
save this file on the server
publish your app and call the CMD instead of the acrobat file
trick; you can map drive into the cmd so that user can access network shares and not only the server on.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 crashing in Windows Vista - Need help

Hi,
I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 in my system which has OS Windows Vista with SP1 and everytime I open a pdf using my newly installed adobe acrobat it crashes.
The general trend it after 10 seconds from opening that pdf file, it just automatically closes itself. I checked the system process and didn't see the adobe process running after it closed itself. So I feel it just crashes for some unknown reason.
I have 1440 X 900 resolution. Don't know if that can be a problem, but I have tried reducing the resolution too but with no help.
Can anyone help me solve this problem.

since the CC2014 version of Premiere has been released (on Creative Cloud) I'm experiencing - really often - the MEDIA PENDING (yellow background) issue... even if the clip can be found right clicking and selecting "reveal in finder" or "reveal in project", in the timeline the clip can't be played. Not to mention the many many problems the app is causing stopping working suddenly and obligating me to restart the system to have it regularly working again (usually it stops reproducing the video, only the audio stays alive, but the playhead seems freezes there where I left it).
One more problem: all the app (and customized) keyboard shortcuts are gone. Totally disappeared (this happened just after the last update, CC v8.1 Caravan. Synching from CC was unsuccessful.
Please don't suggest me to contact the adobe italian service to have an help... the last time (almost the same problem) they just made me lose time with some basic procedure checks that I knew were not leading me anywhere.
I ask sorry for my polemic tone, it's a few months that Adobe Premiere is not working anymore as before. And you can't immagine how many hours I've lost.
