Adobe Professional 8.0 Error Reject
Updated my Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Professional this am.
Now entire program kicks me out.
Error: 0x04601243 referenced memory at 0x03dbebf4 memory could not be written.
I reinstalled original disk, and clicked Repair; this was done twice, to no avail.
Running XP Professional no problems.
Any ideas for fix; need to use program this morning 6/19/2011.

No, I was not logged on as an admin, and had my Anti-virus on. Anti-Virus
is AVG free version, does a pretty good job.
Those were not the problem.
I called Adobe Support for help, they did a great job in getting me up and running.
Had to uninstall, re-install and not update; when I put in the AA 8.0 Professional disc and it finished.
The Tech support person said the latest update was a Security update and wasn't quite right.
The Tech person was great spent 2 hours researching, checking and uninstalling and re-installing.
Conclusion was, do as mentioned above, unistall completely, re-install, try the earliest update ONLY.
If that doesn't get you up and running, uninstall, re-install and forget about updating until Adobe figures out
a correct fix. So far my AA 8.0 is running perfectly.
The update I did on 6/19/2011 was to fix a Security problem, wasn't what they anticipated.
I have the Case No. and it is left open; they said they would notify me, when the situation is fixed.

Reinstall Adobe Professional 9.3 Error
Adobe Professional 9.3 security update will install once on a machine with 9.2 already installed. If a user removes Adobe Professional 9 using the Add Remove Programs uninstall and then tries to reinstall, there is a generic Error when installing it for the second time with all of the security updates in consecutive order. Does any know why this error is occuring? It looks like the error occurs towards the end of the first install of the first security patch on this reinstall. The same for all of the rest of the security patch installs. This doesn't happen on any of 9.2 and earlier security patches when installing them alone.
If I installed by using DVD version. There is no error occurred and I used it couple of year till lately changed new hard disk. Reinstall back by using DVD version and can't activate because this product discontinue.
The vendor provide the link for download this product and unfortunately when install face this error. Thanks. -
Adobe Professional 7.0 error
How do I handle this error message on Adobe Professioal 7.0 - PDFMaker cannot locate the Adobe PDF Printer's printer driver
No. You will have to purchase the new Acrobat. You are using a version that is 4 versions back and never intended for Win7. You can do work-arounds with the 32-bit version of Win7, and to some extent with the 64-bit version (I think I tried this on a 32-bit system). To do the work arounds you will likely find 2 things that do not work: AcroTray and the print driver.
For the print driver, install one of the HP PS color printers. Once installed, change the name to Adobe PDF and change the port to FILE (there is no Adobe PDF port for your AA 7).
The process is then to print to the Adobe PDF printer (actually an HP printer driver) and save the file some place (it will be a PS file, but may have a PRN extension or type). Then open that file in Distiller to get a PDF. The process may not be full proof, but it works most of the time. Your alternative with Acrobat 7 is to install XP. It might be that the printer will work in the XP emulator if you can still download that from MS -- haven't tried. -

My suggestion is that you reconsider whether your in Non-Drop frame. NTSC standard is Dropframe 29.97. I'm afraid you may have this backwards. DVX100's default to dropframe (29.97fps) in the USA. FCP could be encountering a pulldown cadence every few minutes because it expects a frame drop that is not there.
Remember the frame drop only occurs every few minutes so this makes sense. With standard NTSC capture (not 24fps pulldown removal) such dropped frames don't mess anything up. They just subtly shift the timing and sync of the audio track. You could have captured this way for years and rarely seen a problem with short clips. When doing a pulldown removal, a missing or in your case extra frame can confuse the pulldown removal system as it expects to find the video encoded in 29.97 rather than 30fps. -
Incomplete installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro X - ERROR: DW006 - ERROR: DW050

On trying to run a failed update from Adobe, my Adobe Acrobat Pro X became corrupt and failed to open.
I am now trying to reinstall the software, but the software does not install successfully with Exit Code: 6 and the following key warnings and errors:

Please help! I uninstalled the corrupt version X before this installation attempt.
I also still have Acrobat Pro 9 on my machine as backup (for this precise reason) but don't believe this is the problem as they have co-existed without a problem for near a month now. The corruption in version X occured after this morning's failed update from Adobe.

Must have been a font or something causing the problems, as opening in safe mode allowed the software to install correctly.

How do I get Adobe Professional 8 to work with Windows 7?
I have a new computer with Windows 7 on it and when I try to install Adobe Professional 8 it says I need a Windows Vista Adobe PDF.dill file. Where can I find this file? I do not have Windows Vista.

Adobe Professional MSI package not installing
Hello, I have downloaded the Adobe Professional MSI package from the Creative Cloud Packager but the application will not install. I have tried both 32bit and 64 bit versions to no avail.
Here are some errors from the PDApp.Log File
Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated.Download, install,then run and remove Adobe Reader 6 using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. Now try the 9.2 installation again.

Adobe Acrobat closes after error...
I am getting the following error each time I open Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional...
"An error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application."
I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program. It didn't help, got the same error shortly after opening the program.
What is strange is that the problem just suddenly appeared therefore, I believe that it may have been malware related causing this problem. And I have had this program and have been using it without any problems now for over 3 years.
It appears that a vital part of the program is being blocked.
Can anyone please help and offer a detailed solution to this problem? Maybe someone has already encountered it.

User has Adobe Professional 7.0 installed. When she tries to convert any document(.doc, .xls, .ppt) to pdf it looks like document is trying to convert and then the printer box comes up indicating failed to print document. If I log in as administrator or give user administrator rights she can do the conversion.
Any ideas?The most basic steps in the PDF creation is to print to file (it will be a PS file, though the extension may be PRN). Then start Distiller (afterwards) and use the file menu to open the file that was created by the printer.
You will likely find a problem with access to the Job.Settings files. This is typically a Windows permissions issue or a location issue of the files. You might be able to copy the job.settings files from the current location to a general users account and then use Distiller to add these new locations and remove the old ones. I am guessing to some extent, but I think this is the general area of the problem.
When the normal print to the Adobe PDF printer is done, the resident program AcroTray handles the process of running Distiller in the background. My suggestion was just to be able to get a better handle on the error messages since AcroTray is apparently runnning (you can print as you said). PDF Maker and other functions are just preprocessors for this printer. -
Adobe Professional issue after trial
Hi All,
One of my end-users has an issue with Adobe Professional.
We have Pro 9 installed, and he recently wanted to try out Pro 11. We installed the trial and after the trial period we uninstalled it.
Since then he has been having issues with Pro 9. Mainly he uses it in collaboration with AutoCAD. The main issue he has is when trying to print to PDF from AutoCAD, it says that the print job failed.
We have uninstalled and reinstalled Pro 9.
Is there a way to completely remove all traces of Adobe so I can install Pro 9 from complete scratch? or has anyone seen this issue before?

Trying to reinstall CS2/Adobe Professional 7.0.5
I uninstalled Adobe Professional from my Macintosh G5 because the Distiller (ver 7.0.9) won't work anymore. I am following directions for reinstalling 7.0.5 from my CS2 disks > directions say to "double-click the installer application on the CS2 Disk 1" > i have tried opening every .app on Disk 1 and none of them open an installer. Where is the "installer .app" on disk 1?
You need to uninstall Reader 7 before installing Reader X. Upgrading from one version to the next usually works fine, but not when jumping over several versions.
Download the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ to avoid that error message.

Adobe Professional Grace Period problem
I had Adobe Acrobat ver. 5 which I was unable to uninstall due to some corrupt files.
Then I tried to install Adobe Acrobat Professional ver 8 . It popped up an error message that You already have a version of adobe which is to be removed. Hence I formatted my C: drive and then successfully installed Adobe Professional Ver 8 . It was a trial version for 30 days.
But when I tried opening Adobe Live Cycle which comes with it, a message popped up saying that Grace Period is over . Please download e-license. My friends who earlier had installed Adobe Professional from the CD are not getting any messages .
Any Ideas to solve the problem.
