    Hi juderocks14,
Please first take a check with the other Players and see if they could play the MP4 file normally. If it can't be played, which means it might be corrupted. You may ask at the Bandicam side, or save the files again.
If issue insists, take a try with the Troubleshooter (For Windows 7, 8 and 8.1):
Open the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter
Fix Windows Media Player video, and other media or library issues
Or you may try to turn Windows Features on or off to reset Windows  Media Player:
Turn Windows features on or off (Before turn it on again, please remember to reboot first)

What happens if I turn off Windows Media Player?

  • Flash Player has stopped working...over and over again!

I get this message whenever I try and watch a video, same message for any page that uses flash, same message no matter which browser I'm using. This problem began with version 10, and I was using older versions of Flash Player until the other day when it would no longer work due to security issues--the message was that the older version of flash would no longer work...I needed to update the player. So, I did, and we're back to the same problem of Flash Player has stopped working message popping up over and over again. It doesn't seem to be the browsers since I get the same message in all of them. Possibly it is the hardware acceleration, but the two pathways to disabling hardware acceleration don't work.   When I try to see the current version (so I can right click and get to settings), the version won't show. The other strategy, right cliking on the video, also won't work because the video won't show after Flash Player has stopped working. My graphics card is a Radeon x1950, and I'm running 32 bit Vista Home Premium.  There is a ton of information on line about dealing with a balky flash player, but nothing that seems to address this problem. Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance. RAS
PS, sorry, I wasn't paying attention and first posted this in "installing flash player."
One more thing....when I go to Flash Player Find Version page, the video does not show up, nor does the version....two big blank spaces.  But Flash Player is installed.

I replied over on your other post.
What browser are you using that is giving you the blank spaces on the versions page?

  • Flash Player Has Stopped Working!

All of a sudden, flash player has stopped working on my computer. I have a 64-bit PC, running Windows 7. Flash was running perfectly one day; the next it was not. Hasn't worked since. I've tried downloading the latest version and even installing an older version. Still does not work! (No changes or additions were made to the computer to cause this problem.) Any ideas as to what might be going on and how to fix it? I've done all I know how to do.
    Ron.

  • 3 weeks after installing Yosemite Flash Player has stopped working

    Hi Apple Community,
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
I installed OSX Yosemite about 4 weeks ago, no problems until now.
Just this week Flash Player has stopped working on an education site I belong to.
The college say there's no problem at their end or for the other students.
I am using Chrome which I understand updates Flash Player automatically; has there been an update this week or something that might have caused this problem?
I have tried every suggestion I can find on the internet:
    - uninstalling Flash
    - tried using Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera
    - installing the latest Flash
    - Rebooting
    - checking Flash is installed (it is)
Is there anything else I can try?
Or is Flash simply not compatible with Yosemite now?

    Hi ...
No problems with Flash on Safari 8 with Yosemite here so try testing with Safari.
First, make sure Allow Plug-ins is selected in Safari > Preferences > Security
Then from your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
    Click: Remove All Website Data
Now open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click Delete All under Browsing Data and Settings
Then delete the cache. Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • All of a Sudden, My Flash Player Has Stopped Working

Early Friday afternoon (just yesterday), my Flash Player was working fine.  I am using Mozilla's Firefox on a Windows 7 computer (Dell Inspiron 530S).   Then, inexplicably, it failed.  Several websites reported that something couldn't be displayed because I didn't have Adobe's Flash Player installed.  Gotta tell you, I wasn't making any changes to the operating system nor to the browser.  In fact, I wasn't changing ANY of my settings on ANY computer.  Then Friday evening, Flash Player simply stopped working.
I UN-installed the existing program, re-booted, then RE-installed Flash Player and, again, there is no message saying INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY.  Could any of these be a delayed result of the the latest version of Firefox, which was released on 9/30/2011, about a week ago?
Now, I can't even install the Acrobat after uninstalling IT.
    Any ideas?
    Dan

From IE go to the Tools menu and deselect ActiveX Filtering.
    That's it!
If this works for you, please spread the word! I spent hours loading older versions of Flash, configuring Pop-Up Blocker, and generally tearing my hair out.
How would that possibly help resolving the o/p's problem with Firefox...?
Also, why did you spend hours when your solution is right here in the FAQ on top of the forum http://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968

  • OSX Lion: Flash player has stopped working in Chrome after update to 11.1.102.64

    Dear Adobe,
Many sites including YouTube have stopped showing flash content (the ads on YT do work though) after an update to 11.1.102.64. The flash player is simply not showing anything, although it is there (right-click menu shows). This is surely a GPU issue, but I'm on OSX, so there are no drivers to update...
    This is the environment:
FP: 11.1.102.64 (non-debug, haven't tried debug version yet)
    Chrome: 18.0.1025.56 beta
    Mac:
    Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50b)
    Processor  2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    Memory  6 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB
    with all updates installed.
Is there anything I can do to get this to work?
    Cheers
    Bas

  • My flash player has stopped working

I tried uninstalling and re installing, i checked all settings as per your website. On your website when checking to see if flash is installed it says not. I'm running windows vista 32 bit and all updates are current. On you tube it says you need to upgrade your flash. And no amount of re installing works.

Hey guys, I am having the same problem with my Flash player!  2 days ago, I was playing Candy crush on FB and everything was fine!  Last night I logged in and tried to play and it said I needed to upgrade my Flash Player!  I looked in my control panel (add/remove programs) and Adobe Flash player 12 active X is listed and well as the plugin and they are both enabled in IE and FireFox!  Went to Adobe.com to try to re-install and as I click on Install now, it just takes me to the Adobe.com homepage!  I am running Windows XP.  I have, of course, noticed I can not watch alot of my videos, etc.  I did the Adobe Flash player CHECK  and it says that it is not installed at all....   I of course, did nothing to the computer, ie.. install new programs or delete or anything of the sort, it is just so weird, it just stopped running all together!  Help Please!!!

  • Any suggestions as to why my Flash Player has stopped working?

I have an HP notebook with Windows 7 and I use IE 10 as my browser.  I have recently noticed that some types of video won't play so I downloaded the newest Flash Player.  I can see the animation on the "Flash Player Help" page but I still cannot see the animations on other sites, e.g. speedtest.net.  It says that I need Flash Player to view.  I have made sure that ActiveX Filtering is off in Safety and that Shockwave Flash Object is enabled in Add-Ons.  I have also set all of my internet options to default and cleared all history, cookies, temporary files, etc.  The Flash Player Help page says that I have version 11.8.800.174 beta so I'm wondering if this beta version is having issues?  Any help would be appreciated as I am tired of seeing black boxes on websites where videos should be (I do have audio).  As a side note when trying to download Flash Player again, thinking maybe there were errors, the progress bar reaches 50% then says to close Explorer.  When I close Explorer and hit the retry button it still thinks Explorer is open and refuses to complete download....

I checked the drivers for both the Intel and Radeon cards, I went to task manager and stopped IE, I hit retry on the Flash Player Install.  It completed install and said successful but yet I still am unable to view speedtest.net or find Flash Player anywhere on my computer.  I am so frustrated.  Does anyone have any more ideas?
Edit:  I don't know why I didn't try earlier but apparently if I use Chrome as my browser Flash Player works just fine.  I just can't use it with IE even though all my internet settings were set back to default.  Does anyone know how to make them compatible again?

  • I keep getting "Adobe Flash Player has stopped potentially unsafe" but can't click Settings

Every time I open a blank tab in IE8, I get a message:
Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. The following local application on your computer or network about:blank is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location: s.nsdsvc.com. To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings. You must restart the application after changing your settings.
I have tried clicking the Settings button, but that just closes the message box. I have added both about:blank and s.nsdsvc.com to my trusted sites. I tried creating an html file with nothing in it and setting that as my home, but I am still getting the stupid message.
This is driving me to distraction. How can I fix it?
p.s. If this is already posted and answered, I apologize. I searched for it but it appears that the forum search is still broken.

There is no swf in a blank page, so I don't know how to do what you suggested.
However, I tried something else that seems to have worked. I took EVERYTHING out of my list of trusted sites. I know it doesn't make sense, but I'm not getting those messages now.
    Thanks,
