Adobe Reader 9.3.3 Installer Error 1935! HELP!!!

Hi,
I've a Win 7 Home 64bit system.  Brand new install.  Trying to install the acrobat reader right from the site, version 9.3.3
Each time it goes through the install and at the end gives the error
Error 1935 - An error occurred during the installation of the assembly component. {98CB24AD-52FB-DB5F-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E} HRESULT: 0x80070002
I get the option to hit ok, at which point its backsteps and undoes the entire install.
Help please!!

I checked those articles.
Aobe AIR, Adobe DL manager, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave player, Avast antivirus, Divx, EVE, Galactic Civilization, Impulse, MS .Net 4, MS Visual C++, Nivida drivers, Sins of a Solar Empire, Starcraft 2, Winamp, Winzip, World of Warcraft, Zone Alarm
That's it .. the only programs in the system at the moment.
I looked at your links but do not see anything that applies.  No unknown processes, programs or anything else.
Any further help? please? I'd like to get the adobe reader on the system for my PDFs.

    Hi ringo,
Do you get the error while downloading the software or installing it?
What is the exact error which you are receiving?  You may want to try the solution listed in Error 1935 | Assembly component Microsoft.VC80.CRT | Install | CS4, CS5, CS5.5 products | Windows - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-1935-assembly-component -microsoft.html.

I am getting Adobe Reader XI (11.0.07) Error 2753. The File 'acrosup64.dll' is not marked for installation when deploying from msi package. .
Need help to resolve the issue

    Hi dingusmagii
Can you please share the following info:
->  Which OS and architecture are you on
->  What are the exact steps being followed for installation.
->  Do you have any previous version of Reader already installed on your machine.
Also it would be helpful if you can you share Windows Installer log. Please follow the steps below to create installer log
    1. Launch Notepad
    2. Copy paste the following text in notepad
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer\]
    "Logging"="voicewarmupx"
    3. Now press Ctrl+S to save the file.
    4. In the "Filename" field type <any_file_name>.reg for e.g. abc.reg
    4. In the "Save as type" dropdown, select "All Files"
    5. Click Save button to save the file at desired location
    6. Go to the location where you saved the file and double click on it.
    7. Follow the prompts to create the registry key.
After the registry key is added successfully, please re run the 11.0.07 patch installer. Once you get the error message click ok and then click on finish to close the installer dialog.
Now go to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Temp and look for file with name similar to MSIxxxxx.log.
Please upload the dump (compress the dump using WinZip or likewise) and share the link here.

  • Adobe Reader 10.1/ 11 get error "has stopped working" on windows 7 after installed 1 or 2 days, but Adobe Reader is fine==

Adobe Reader 10.1/ 11 get error "has stopped working" on windows 7 after installed 1 or 2 days, but Adobe Reader is fine==

Turning off the Protected Mode at Startup setting fixed the problem for me. Switched off all protected mode settings in Preferences exited Adobe Reader XI then restarted. Now I can successfully open files without the program crashing. I run the same versions of Adobe Reader and Norton Internet Security on Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems and the problem only occurred on Windows 7.

  • "Adobe Reader Expected a Dict Object Error." Does Anyone Have a Solution?

With the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader XI and Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 7 Professional 32-bit Service Pack1, we are having issues trying to open a machine manual PDF within the web browser. The web page is hosted locally with an Apache web server. Once we click link to the manual, the PDF attempts to download, but then we are prompted with an Adobe Reader "Expected a dict object. http: // localhost/Help/ait.pdf" information dialog box. The PDF then fails to load. Sometimes however it will load successfully without any issues. The PDF is roughly 34MB in size.
We have tried other web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Opera) and they do not appear to have this issue. What could be causing this problem? Does anyone have a solution for this? Please let us know.

Did you ever find the answer to this problem??  I am having the same problem with
my Acrobat 9 Pro document.  When trying to insert a page to the document (300 pages long) I get the error message "expected a dict object
Would appreciate any tips you can give me.

  • Everytime Adobe Reader 9 is extracting installation files, about half way, Windows XP SP3 reboots

Everytime Adobe Reader 9 is extracting installation files, about half way, Windows XP SP3 reboots. Therefore, I am unable to install the Adobe Reader on my computer. I would appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks for the replies. I have followed most of the suggestions given in "Test Screen Name" response. Unfortunately, I have not been able to correctly identify and eliminate rootkit infections (viruses), if any. Furthermore, even when I try to install Adobe Reader X, the system freezes when about 53% of the installation is complete. I am still trying to figure this problem out.
    Good news!
I just installed Adobe Reader 11 and it worked beautifully!
    Thanks again for your suggestions.

Yes, you can reinstall the Adobe Reader, my suggestion would be run the cleaner tool first3 http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
then download and install the latest Adobe Reader from this location# http://get.adobe.com/reader/
