Adobe Reader 9 - Printing error, ony get one pg. HELP!

Ok, I have installed Adobe Reader 9 as I had 5 and I kept getting a msg saying certain files were encrpted which is not true. Anyways, use it for work and now it doesnt print the complete document, it prints the first page and thats it. I've changed settings, and then im changed page ranges everything i still get only one page printed at a time!!! ITS SO ANNOYING!!!
I get alot of work related documents that have 20 pages more and dont have the time to be printing out every pages individually!!
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you for your response but unfortunately I can't. Due to the privacy laws I can't just send you documents that have personal information. Is there another way of fixing the problem?

Adobe Reader print error

When I try to print some (but not all) pdf documents using Adobe Reader, my printer "stops" and it won't print. I get an error message in my Printer Status box that says "The process "pdffilter" stopped unexpectedly with status 1." I need to delete the job and then "Start Jobs" to print something else.
I am using Reader 7.0.8 and printer is HP Photosmart 8250.
I've tried updating my Reader software and my printer driver without avail.
The same documents will print fine using Preview.
Any ideas how to resolve???

Here are a couple of longshots to try:
Open FontBook and look for font dupes (they have a bullet by them).
If you find any select them and then choose resolve dupes from the edit menu.
Close Adobe Reader and then select the application in the finder.
Do a Get Info and:
Disable plug-ins—just click the box to remove the checkmark.
You can fairly safely disable every plug-in EXCEPT for the following four:
1. WebLink.acroplugin
2. ImageViewer.acroplugin
3. EScript.acroplugin
4. Search.acroplugin

Adobe Reader Printing Error

we have a Windows 7 machine that when you print any PDF it prints on the right hand side of a landscape page. The left hand half is empty. Problem is all the settings on the printer and reader are set to 1 page portrait single side etc (like a normal print job)
I have re-installed the latest reader today and it is still doing it. Any ideas anyone?

Turning off the Protected Mode at Startup setting fixed the problem for me. Switched off all protected mode settings in Preferences exited Adobe Reader XI then restarted. Now I can successfully open files without the program crashing. I run the same versions of Adobe Reader and Norton Internet Security on Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems and the problem only occurred on Windows 7.

Adobe Reader won't open Tried installing updated Adobe Reader and error came up in the process and told me to contact software manufacturer. Could I uninstall current Adobe Reader and then try installing the current AR? Any ideas?

Adobe reader 11 error fix

I installed the new reader 11 and now have problems opening up my files now. I get the error "Adobe failed to load its core dll." As an IT professional, it means that the program is corrupt somewhere. I did the basic troubleshooting such as in-uninstalling, deleting the reader folder out of the adobe folder. My system is Win 7, 64 bit. This problem also occurred when adobe reader was at 10. I need help. When Im in MS Word, it makes the .pdf but when I try to open it, it gives me that error. I even went on ahead and got a trail sample of acrobat pro 10, in hopes that maybe it will fix the error, but it has not. I really need an answer from a Adobe staff member because they know the product. What folder do I need to go into to try and find the missing data this program needs? Ive done all kinds of trouble shooting and it still doesn't work, and I even did a system restore, and THAT didnt help neither. Please help.

Adobe Reader Printing Problem

I have a PC with Windows XP SP3. When I try to print a PDF document, I get the following message: "The document could not be printed. There were no pages selected to print." Of course, I had selected the pages to print.
Recently, I had many problems with Adobe Reader 10, so I removed it and reloaded Adobe 9. Today, when this printing problem appeared, I did a restore on my computer, taking it back a few months. I still have the printing problem.
Any idea what's wrong? Any idea how to fix it?

I have Acrobat Pro 9, but the feature I am using is listed under my
printers.
If I go to Print, then in the drop-down list of printers, I have PDF -
which essentially creates a new PDF document. I don't really understand
why it worked, but it did. The Print - PDF is also available to Word,
Publisher, etc.

Got this error while trying to update adobe on my mid 2010 Mac Running OS X Version 10.9:

HighResDownload of magazine with Adobe Reader X - Error Msg

Am using AdobeReader X. Subscribe to magazine that comes as a pdf. When I download the low-resolution magazine, all works fine. I typically download the High-resolution magazine and sometimes I get the following Adobe Reader X error: "The file is damaged and could not be repaired. Local\EWHf@8'))%@" When I contacted the magazine the woman says she's had no calls about this error or any other problem with the high-res downloads.

I click on that link and click on the current month's magazine (September 2012) and a login message appears which requires a USER Name
And PASSWORD
What occurs next is you are asked to AGREE or DO NOT AGREE with the download. I click AGREE
The next thing that happens is I'm asked whether I want the Low Resolution or High Resolution version. While I have NO problem downloading the LOW Resolution version, my current problem (that I wrote you all about) is downloading the HIGH Resolution version.
After clicking on the High Resolution version, the screen goes black (the lower portion) and remains that way for a while (MUCH longer than when you ask for the LOW Resolution version of the magazine) and then, finally, I get
Adobe error: "Adobe Reader X" and "The file is damaged and could not be repaired. Local\EWHf@B'))%@"
I'd like to give you the link(s) but I signed a statement that I wouldn't (a condition of the subscription). The important factors are:
I CAN download the smaller file (LOW RESOLUTION) but NOT the HIGH RESOLUTION (larger file size). MOST of the downloads have been the HIGH RESOLUTION and never had any problems. Yesterday was my first such problem. I had several issues to download and hoped to download the HIGH RESOLUTION as I'd always done and while MOST were downloaded just fine, there were two (2) months of the magazine where I COULD DOWNLOAD the LOW RESOLUTION version but NOT the HIGH. The publisher claims they've had no calls about the editions I've had problems with.
Finally, I am using the laptop I always use and am at work using it where I get a VERY strong signal from VERIZON for my USB Modem which is how I get onto the Internet.
Does any of this help to "Point the Finger" at something?

Adobe Reader 7: Error 500

Hello
I have a designed a PDF form using LiveCycle Designer 8. The form has a Submit button which on clicking invokes a Servlet sitting on a websphere server and then passes the data to the Servlet. The Servlet sends a TEXT/HTML response object.
I am able to successfully the form data using Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 8. However, when I try to submit the data using Adobe Reader 7, instantly I get an error message. The message just says "ERROR 500". Can someone please let me know what is going on here and how it can be corrected.

Acrobat/Reader is not a browser and as susch does not understand HTML commands. If the form is being hosted by a browser then the browser will recieve the HTML and interpret the commands. If you return back a response as a PDF instead of an HTML page then Acrobat/Reader will be able to interpret that.
