Adobe Reader & Flash Player problems
I am having problems opening documents and videos requiring Adobe. I have done the download and install process and still have problems. Can I delete everything Adobe on my computer and start over?
Maybe the add-ons are not enabled? For Flash Player see

For Adobe Reader, what is your IE version? If IE10 or IE11, maybe this is the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2716529 ?

I'm having an issue on All ADOBE reader/flasher player opening window on Mac OSX Lion
I have tons of error when i'm openning Adobe reader/Adober flash player/Adobe application manager. When i went check out the Library/Adobe appiication support, it's missing and i can't get it to open. What are the solution to make this work. Cause i really wanna to download Adobe photoshop trial install and open it, but i keep on getting error all the time. What can i do to resolve this issue on my mac osx Lion 10.7.5 version? Any suggestion?
Could you try switching back to the PPAPI version of the plugin to see if that helps (reversing the steps outlined in the FAQ below)? From what we've learned, this only effects the NPAPI version and the PPAPI version should display fonts correctly.

I have tried almost everything and adobe stuff doesn't work with windows 7 64 bit program. SUGGESTIONS?
Hi, First, you must use the 32bit since Adobe Flash Player does not support the 64bit. Second you must be the Administrator in order to install the ActiveX Control and write to the Windows Registry which Flash Player does.
Read over this Adobe Uninstall info: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

How can I get serial numbers or the free versions of Adobe, Air, Flash Player 14, and Reader XI Pro that I had installed on my computer before Microsoft crashed my computer and I had to do a fresh install? I finished reinstalling Win 8.1Pro on my computer thanks to Microsoft Lvl 1 Techies corrupting my Command Structure so nothing would work. I had recently taken a picture of my installed programs (control panel, uninstall programs list) so that I would be able to reinstall everything I needed. I can't seem to find an email for the Reader which I remember paying for, the others I believe were free installs. Can anyone help me out.
Safari Version 5.0.5 < from your first post
5.0.5 is an outdated version of Safari.
There is an update available for Safari for version 5.1.1
That may help.
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen the click Software Update
Restart your Mac after the updates are installed.
Try full screen ...
If you have problems using Software Update from the menu you can use the standalone installer here > Safari 5.1.1 -
Adobe Flash Player Problem: "Movie Not Loaded"
new user to mac.
i'm getting more and more frustrated with this computer.
what's bugging me the most right now is
i am unable to view videos on certain websites.
rather than showing the content,
a white box appears.
when i right click on the white box,
it says "movie not loaded" (in gray) and adobe flash player 9 (in black).
i can't click on the gray line.
when i click on the black line, it brings me to the adobe website and tells me adobe flash player 9 has been successfully installed.
i am fairly sure this has nothing to do with heavy traffic.
any insights on how to resolve this issue?

When did these flash player problems begin?
So, I had a computer running Win98 and IE6, which worked
great until Flash Player 8 autodownloaded about 4 months ago,
causing the beginning of an extreme headache. Several
communications with Adobe support (they eventually stopped
responding) over several weeks went nowhere None of the fixes
suggested by them, nor the ones here worked. Countless manhours led
me to think it was time to bite the bullet, buy a new computer. So,
as of two months ago I have a new computer running XP and IE6 with
SP2. I didn't know it until today, when I started having crashes,
but I have Flash Player 7.0.19.0. When i go to Adobe's Test page,
both Shockwave and Player windows show the animations (and no
crash).
On certain pages, which I believe have flash content, I get
the "IE has experienced a problem and must close" message. It
specifically mentions the flash.ocx file as the offender. It is
repeatable when visiting certain pages.
So, before I jump into the abyss of attempting to fix this, I
am wondering when these types of problems began. I have been using
Windows and IE since 1998 with no trouble until this year. I hoped
moving to a new computer would solve my Flash compatibility
problems. Could the root problem be new types of spyware, etc that
change something in the registry? Some of the fixes suggested by
Adobe were regarding keys changed in the registry. Unfortunately
those fixes didn't work (in Win98).
Finally, does anyone know if attempting to fix flash player
under XP is any easier than 98? Also, I will admit I may have
visited some sites recently that downloaded some adware, etc. Any
suggestions on cleaning that may solve the flash player problem? I
know this post is all over the map - I don't know where to begin...
Thanks in advance, DonHi
Which browser is giving you the error? Is it IE11?
Are you saying when you go to Adobe's website and download flash player it gives you an error?

Flash player problems with youtube - using firefox
I have been having these problems for a while now, at least over 6 months I'd say. Everytime I want to watch any youtube video, I get this:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."
I have scoured the internet for answers. I have cleared cookies, done clean uninstalls/installs, and java script is enabled. I somehow fixed it yesterday, when I cleared out cookies and also cleared file cache in firefox. It was also fixed after I uninstalled flash player, and upgraded to firefox 3.6. However, the problem has returned and after clearing cookies and the file cache again, it's still not working. I am hoping someone has a permanent fix for this. Also, I can watch videos on google, dailymotion, metacafe, etc. Only youtube gives me these problems.
I am using Windows XP SP2 and Firefox 3.6. Thank youI wish that worked :[
I forgot to add that I am also using Norton Antivirus 2005. I already went to the Personal Firewall settings and I configured it to permit all adobe programs. -
Can anyone help with a Flash Player problem on the Weight Watchers site?
I'm having problems with the Weight Watchers web site. I've tried loading it with IE9, IE8, Chrome and Firefox. There's a specific area of the site (Pro Points Calculator) which continually flashes. I can't stop it and I can't access the icons underneath it. Also the Plan Manager, which contains several other tools, will not load. I've contacted WW who say their site set up "is not unique but it is rare which is why other websites will work while ours may seem not to. Please contact your web browser trouble shooting team". I've loaded the latest version of Flash Player (11), tried compatability view, cleared the cache, enabled cookies etc. all to no avail. I've even spent almost an hour on the phone with the Techguys who say it is a compatability problem between the web browsers and flashplayer. I'm stuck!! Not a techhie and don't know where to turn to for help. Anyone out there offer any ideas? (PS - am a newbie to these forums too). Cheers. Happy2golf
Do I assume correctly that the web site / page that is troubling you is not accessible to the public? In that case all we can do is guess.

Why can't I download Adobe Reader or player on iPad 2?
I cannot view streaming video on my iPad 2 because I cannot download the Adobe Reader or Player when a site requires it. Why not?
The iPad doesn't support Flash which is why you can't install the Adobe player. Use the pre installed YouTube app.
Try PDF Reader Lite for PDF files.

JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player
Safari 3.2.1 - all the latest Java & Flash Player updates installed - Plug-ins allowed in Safari prefs - yet when I go to YouTube and try to play a clip I get this error -
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."
Worked ok before the Safari update - YouTube videos play ok in Firefox. I suspect this is a corrupted "plist" somewhere, but which one?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
RobertThe latest FlashPlayer (version 10) works fine for me with Safari 3.2.1 - so it should for you also!
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash
(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
Note that Adobe requires you to uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

It is also essential to repair permissions after installing anything from Adobe. -
