Adobe Reader for Mac vs. Adobe Reader for iPad

Hi,
I have a problem with Adobe Reader for iPad. The pdf-file works perfect with Acrobat Reader on my iMac.
The pdf-file has an option to change a number of parameters in counting the total cost for owning a car.
Obviously, there is some interactivity function inbedded in the file.
When I opened the same pdf-file in Adobe Reader app for iPad the functionality is lost and it shows just
a blank page.
Has anyone an explanation of this problem or suggestions of a solution?
I have tried different pdf-apps i.e. Goodreader without any solution.
Can the problem be Flash-related?

Documents composed on my imac in Word 2004 for mac, cannot be read by PC user who receive them by email (unknown format).

which version of Premiere Pro are you trying to install? Also check your system compatibility for Premiere Pro CC as suggested by John. On my MacBook Air late 2013 model I am having a problem with Microsoft office word for Mac where the window for the document becomes all gray and I can not see anything that I have typed or any menus for it and also windows will sometimes dissapear and I am having truble getting them back. As time goes by (months or years), keep your eyes on how long Microsoft continues to support Office 2011 for Mac. Eventually you should consider Office 365 or Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

I want to transfer emails from outlook 2011 for mac to outlook 2010 for windows.
Outlook 2011 exports mails only in olm format and there is no option to import olm files in outlook 2010.
I can drag and drop emails from outlook 2011 to a finder folder which saves emails as eml files. How can import eml files into outlook 2010.

I am trying to make some business cards in the program provided and when I copy it starts thinking and working and then stops.
This cause me to wait and then have to do the hole process over agin with the same happening the next time.

That all depends on which photosmart premium you are talking about. There is the photosmart premium all in one, and photosmart premium fax all in one which have 10.4 software. The identifier numbers on them would be c309g, and c309a.
If however you have the newer model, the photosmart premium e-all in one, or premium fax e-all in one, there is no 10.4 software. These models are the c410a, and the c310.
Generally the identifier number is under the lid you open to change the inks.

Unless things have changed, there are separate S/N's for the PC and the Mac versions.
I would immediately contact Adobe Customer Support (not Technical Support), and explain the error. I feel that they will be able to help you with replacing the PC version.

The laptop's too far away from the router to be connected by ethernet. It's all wifi.
No separate server app on the laptop, it's all samba
The files are on a windows laptop and a hard drive hooked up to the windows laptop. The windows share server is pants, so I'd need some sort of third party server running. Maybe you weren't suggesting to use Samba to connect to the windows share though?
I'm glad that you've all understood my ramblings and taken and interest, thanks The way I see it, I can't be the only netbook user these days looking for this kind of convenience, and I certainly won't be once chrome and moblin hit the market.

You don't use your Apple ID or its password to install anything on your Mac. You use the admin account's name and password.
Use the name and password you last entered when resetting them. The "name" you use is not the short name of the admin account folder.
For example. If you create an admin account of John Smith, the short name given to that account's folder will be johnsmith. So when an app requests an admin name and password to install something, the admin name you enter is John Smith, not johnsmith.

FLV video in PDF won't play for Mac user with Reader 9.4.5.

I recently created a PDF with an embedded FLV file. I'm using Acrobat X Pro, so embedding the file created a Rich Media Annotation (RMA). From what I've read, anyone using Acrobat or Reader version 9 or later should be able to play the file. However, one of my readers on a Mac can't play the file, and in fact, doesn't even see a preview of it on the page. He just sees a blank spot.
Can someone shed some light on this?

There are hundreds of PDF readers. Most of them only view only simple files and fail with interactivity, or PDFs for specialized uses like prepress. As Bob said, the only readers you can be sure of are Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Tell your viewers to download the FREE Adobe Reader to get the best viewing experience, and provide a link to Adobe Reader.
