Adobe reader freezws and closes when using pen
how do I correct adobe reader to stop closing and freezing when I use the pen?
Hi There,
Can you please confirm your operating system ? Do you have the full administrative rights ? Are you getting any error when trying to insert Web Object interaction ?
Would like to inform you Captivate 6 onwards interactions have been uploaded on server. Captivate pings this server on a regular basis, If there is any firewall or strict network policy then it might take some time to check the URL or might be result in crash or freeze.

Ajit

I already have Adobe reader installed and have been using it. I am now being asked by my banks to accept the end user license agreement. How do i access this ?
Did you launch the Adobe Reader application separately (outside of the browser) and accept the EULA?

I am using a Mac and have installed Adobe Reader for Mac, latest version. I cannot access the End User Licensing Agreement. I clicked on it and it gives me a message that I must launch Adobe, check that I agree, close and reopen. The problem is I can't find any way to launch Adobe because it appears nowhere on my launch pad, nor in my document files or on the control panel. Because of this, I cannot print bank statements nor can I get into my insurance companies billing department to make a payment. HELP!
How about in your Applications folder?

DEP crashes Adobe Reader 9.4.2 when using attach to email
Hi
I face a problem on our two windows 2008 SP2 RDS servers. When viewing a .pdf file in Adobe Reader 9.4.2 and using the attach to email option the program gets shut down by Data Execution Prevention and crashes AR. Usually with one of these errors.
Faulting application AcroRd32.exe, version 9.4.2.220, time stamp 0x4d467676, faulting module dhcpcsvc.DLL, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e03708, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00001895, process id 0x3e04, application start time 0x01cbe879dbad53f0.
sometimes its dhcpcsvc6.dll too.
We're running Outlook 2007.
It is not possible to add AcroRD32.exe to the exceptionlist for DEP.
Any word on how to fix this?Could someone from Adobe respond to this specific issue so that we know we are being heard? Will the fix for the print issue also resolve the 'attach to email' problem? Is there any work around other than telling users to attach directly from their email programs?
Thanks in advance for your response to our concerns.

After completing my upgrade to Adobe Reader 11.0.10. when I attempt to save an online PDF to my local drive I receive a blank window where I would expect to see file directory structure to save to.
No local directories are displayed for "Saving To", it is all blank. When I try to Close (by clicking X) the "File Save As" box a message pops up on top that says "Adobe Reader is not Responding" It locks up all of my IE windows, not just the one with the PDF doc.
I then need to go Task Manager and stop the IE task. All my browser windows are then closed.
That is the only way to recover from the "Adobe Reader is Not Responding" message.
This was not happening in previous versions of Reader.
Tolls/File/File Save As always worked properly.
I have installed IE 11 (11.0.9600.17690)Please don't post the same question multiple times!

- Version of Adobe reader.
- Have you tried to update the Reader and if you are trying to print using any other application what is the result.
Have you tried any steps to resolve the issue.

Why can't I connect to the Internet on my Adobe Reader? And why do websites tell me I don't have Adobe downloaded when I have an updated version on my computer? It is an IPad,does that affect it?
Also, download and open the free Adobe Reader app. Then read the Help section to figure out how to use it.

how do i use my free 30 day trial of adobe reader x1?? when i try to edit a pdf it just asks me to buy the program?
I think your problems may come down to mixing up two completely different programs.
1. Adobe Reader. This is FREE. There is no subscription or trial. However, there are add-on subscriptions called ExportPDF and PDF Pack. There is no trial for these either.
2. Adobe Acrobat. This is NOT FREE and has a 30 day free trial.
My guess is that you have downloaded the free trial for Adobe Acrobat, but are continuing to actually run Adobe Reader. Look closely at which app you are using, and start it with the START button (Windows) or Launch Pad (Mac). DON'T JUST DOUBLE CLICK ON A PDF. -
Filling up a pdf form which I received as email. I opened it on my adobe reader 11 and filled up the highlighted fields. Yet when I click on the send via mail it says changes will not be included. How do I send the form with changes?
The add annotations field shows as not allowed in the security options. So how do I send this form back with the changes??I think you you need to click 'save' first, then it is saved to acrobat, where it will prompt to send.

I've deleted Adobe Reader 11 and rebooted and reinstalled Adobe Reader 11 and I still get the error message that 'Adobe Reader is blocked because it is out of date'. Using Windows XP with the latest updates (SP3).
Screenshots attached to email replies will not make it back to the forum; you need to login to the forum and post it in your topic using the camera icon in the editor.
Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser! -

I have Windows 7.Home Premium, Service Pack 1. This problem began about a month or so ago. I have tried the trouble shooter and it says I have a compatibility problem but does not offer a fix. AARRGH! I saw a thread about this but now I can't find it again. It said to change a preference setting but Reader freezes and closes before I can change any settings. There was mention of a registry key but that is over my head. =(What is your Reader version?
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)]. -
I am having trouble printing a PDF document. Whenever I click print nothing happens but when I am printing documents from Word, Excel etc they print without a problem. I've tried printing as image but that did not work. I uninstalled Adobe Reader XI and downloaded Adobe Reader X instead and that still doesn't work. I have Windows 7.
Hello,
Please follow the link to troubleshoot the printing issues with Adobe Reader:- Troubleshoot PDF printing | Acrobat, Reader.
