Adobe Reader IOS App aktualisiert Berechnungsfelder nicht

Hallo Zusammen,
die Bearbeitung meines mit Acrobat Pro XI erstellten Formulars funktioniert am PC mit dem Reader genau wie geplant.
Allerdings hab ich ein Problem wenn ich es aus der Adobe Reader Iphone/Ipad-App heraus bearbeite. Ich habe ein Dropdown-Menü und je nach Auswahl erscheint in einem anderen Feld ein Preis. Im Dropdown-Menü gibt es eine Auswahl welche nur ein Leerfeld enthält und dann geht der Preis normalerweise auf 0 €. Während es am Rechner funktioniert, bleibt in der App der letzte Betrag stehen und aktualisiert sich nicht. Damit erscheint er dann auch in der Gesamtsumme. Ich habe noch einen weiteren Block mit automatischen Berechnungen, die je nach Stückzahl funktioniert. Sobald ich dort die Anzahl herausnehme, wird auch der Preis aktualisiert. Warum klappt es wohl beim Dropdown-Feld nicht? Besonders weil es am PC funktionert und nur in der App nicht.
Würde mich über einen Tipp freuen.

The app is throwing an error "A system error was encountered." whenever I highlight any word/sentences in the pdf file and the pdf file closes automatically and all the highlights/strikeouts/annotations are lost. This usually happens when I try to switch in between the apps (multitasking). The same thing is happening on both the devices (iPad and iPhone).

Is there an sdk for Adobe Reader iOS?

Hello,
We have a very simple use case of viewing (just view) the pdf files within the mobile app for both iOS and Android platform. Can you please advise on if Adobe Reader Mobile SDK serves the purpose or if any solution(s) exist either from Datalogics or Bluefire or Bsquare? We are exploring various pdf toolkits and are finding some limitations with these. We would like to stick with Adobe mobile SDK (or any of thextension solutions) that meet our buisness need.

How good is the new Adobe Reader IOS for fillable forms and interactive pdfs?

At last adobe reader for ios has been updated so now fillable forms can be completed on ipad/iphone but how good is it?
I've tested a form and reset form/print form and save as buttons do not seem to work.
Form submit seems ok, just wondered what others thought?
Also the new Adobe Reader IOS is now able to display interactive pdfs with buttons such as go to next page etc yet page transitions do not work? Again whats everyone elses opinion on the reader ios update?

My preliminary experience is that Reader does better with forms than with interactivity.

You should also check out PDF Expert (US $9.99) which handles interactivity better than Reader if that is important to you.

Is anybody else having their Adobe AIR iOS app crash within the first second of opening it?
I am using iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, with a development certificate.
With Adobe AIR SDK 16.0.0.283 and now with 17.0.0.93, after compiling the app (whether in release mode or debug mode), before the app getTimer() can ever reach 999 milliseconds the app will crash. No matter what code I have, it is just crashing before the runtime can ever reach the first second.
Anybody else having this kind of behavior?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have found the way to reproduce. It is about interfaces, and when I try to call a method through an interface the app crashes. I think that it is related to having an interface with many parameters. I have logged the bug here:

Issues editing within adobe reader iOS

We have encountered a new issue within the adobe reader app on iPad. Within the larger form fields, we are able to type text into the field, but are no longer able to go back and edit the text that has been typed in on adobe reader. Before the update we were able to. Any suggestions??

Can you please share a sample form with us at [email protected] along with info on the field you are editing and the text you are adding? I suspect that you are working with an XFA form (perhaps created with LC Designer). In the latest release, we've disabled filling of these forms because we don't support this format and it caused issues for users who lost data. If you could please share the form, I can confirm that this is the issue or perhaps figure out what the real problem is.

Why is there a paid subscription for Adobe Reader iOS, even for CC Members?

When I try to export from a pdf on my Adobe Reader app on my iPad, it asks me for $2.00 per month subscription fee. I'm logged in with my CC account, so should there be an extra subscription for something you'd assume is included in the CC license?

There is no connection between your Creative Cloud account and Adobe Reader on an iOS device.
Acrobat and Reader are developed by a different unit within Adobe. The only connection is that Adobe Acrobat Pro is offered as part of your CC subscription for desktop use.
The Acrobat unit is trying to generate revenue by offering certain services by subscription (e.g., EchoSign, etc.)

Using the Adobe reader iPad app with forms

I want to use the app at work to allow clients to fill out forms. I uploaded my forms and it works well typing in the boxes and writing signatures. Is there then a way to make copies of a document in the app so that I can have a blank template. Also, can you change the name of a document or form once it is opened in the app?

Adobe Reader on iOS currently does not allow you to create copies of a document, or to rename a document. We have taken down these requests for consideration in a future update.

Error when starting Adobe reader 11 App-V package

How do I disable Acrobat reader for checking if the ARM Service is present?
I have created an app-v 5.0 package for Acrobat reader 11. When I run the package on the sequencer I don't have any issues. When I run it on my test machine I get a pop-up stating "There was an error during installation. An internal
error occurred."
I have already tried removing the reg keys in the package that refer to ARM, but this hasn't worked.
Is there a step I need to take before sequencing that will resolve this?

Why can't I save a recently filled-in form (PDF) in Adobe Reader Touch app on Dell tablet?

I recently purchased a Dell Venue 11 Pro tablet and installed Adobe Reader Touch so that I could view, fill-in, save, and print PDFs. I do have the newest version (2.0), but whenever I try to save/save as after filling in a form, it won't let me. I can print the PDF....but cannot save it. I am aware (or think) that this function is a newer feature for this app....but cannot understand why it is not working for me. Can someone please explain why I am running into this issue? Should I be able to perform this task with the 2.0 version....or are these functions not available yet?

I have a number of MM PDF file with associated mp3 sound files, can I read these in Adobe Reader for iOS on my iPad 3?

Adobe Reader doesn't support multimedia.
You need to use a paid PDF reader like PDF Expert.

Will Adobe Reader (iOS) be able to handle acrobat file with video?

I have created power point slides with embedded video. I used Acrobat to make a pdf version of the power point slides. All of the Action Buttons and Video displays perfectly in Windows.
I am interested in have this pdf file be display on an iPad (now or sometime in the future). Does anyone know if that is in the works for Adobe Reader for iOS (iPad) ?? If so, possible time frame ???

On ios, we do support playing videos that are embedded as part of a portfolio or as an attachment on a regular document. The key is that the video must be in a format that the device can play. See video formats listed here under Video technologies:
