  • Adobe Reader keeps crashing on iPad Air

Not sure if this has already been mentioned by others but my adobe reader keeps crashing every time I pull up any power points since the last update. It is really frustrating since I have so many power points on it from school saved with notes. Is there any way this can be fixed or it in the processed of being fixed in the next update? I have the iPad Air with the latest iOS software. Thank you!

This is not a problem that we have seen or that others have reported. Can you please share one of the files you are opening by emailing it to [email protected]?
    Thanks!

  • Adobe reader keeps crashing

I use Adobe Reader a lot - every day I'm reading through a number of PDFs, or filling in a fillable PDF form.  However, it keeps crashing on me.  Every day.  Several times a day.  Sometimes it's when doing a search, sometimes it's simply opening a file.  Sometimes it's when entering data into a fillable PDF form.  Sometimes it's when I have only one file open, sometimes it's when I have multiple files open.  There doesn't seem to be any pattern to when it crashes or what causes it to crash.  Right now, Adobe Reader is nearly useless to me because it crashes so often.  It's the only software I have on my machine that routinely crashes so I know it's not a systemic problem but one specific to Adobe Reader.
    Facts:
        Mac OS 10.9.5
       Adobe Reader: 11.0.10
Both are up-to-date in terms of patches as far as I can tell - at least checking for updates gets a message that the software is up-to-date.
The only thing I can think of is that something that exists from an older version of Adobe Reader (a preference file, a cache file, or something) is causing the problem.  But, since I don't know the exact list of all files that Adobe uses (or has used in the past), I don't know what files to remove that might be left over from older versions of Reader.
    Can anyone help?

I'm having issues with Adobe Reader on my MacBook Pro Retina.  The MacBook is a 13" late 2013 model running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and I have the latest version of Adobe Reader (11.0.10) installed.  Whenever I open multiple PDF's Adobe Reader crashes.  Usually it's when I open 3 or more PDF's but sometimes it crashes when I only open 1 or 2.  Any suggestions?

  • The adobe plugin keeps crashing and I have tried dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to -1 it doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

The Adobe Flash Plugin keeps crashing in Firefox and I have the most up to date version. I have tried the dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs to -1 but it still keeps crashing.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== Since the plugin was installed

    Try to disable IPC.
You can set the prefs dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.* to false on the about:config page to disable the plugin-container process to see if that helps.
    dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll (Flash)
    dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npctrl.dll (Silverlight)
    dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npqtplugin.dll (QuickTime)
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

  • Adobe Muse keeps crashing every time I publish any website all of a sudden

Adobe Muse keeps crashing every time I publish any website all of a sudden. Not just for the website I was working on but now all my websites. It was working perfectly fine and when I hit publish it just crashes. I have multiple copies and different websites and they are all crashing when I try to publish. It seems like it is not an error for just the one website I was working on but the entire program is not functioning correctly. Here's a screen shot of the error.

Mac or Windows? What's the error that appears? If it's an Apple Crash Report, please copy/paste the first few pages of it here.
I strongly recommend against it (for multiple reasons below) but if you uninstall Muse, then go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App, and choose "Previous Version" in the Find New Apps section there will be a dropdown arrow next to the Install button. That dropdown will list all versions of Muse.
If you've saved over top your existing file using the current version, reverting Muse won't work, since older versions cannot open files saved from newer versions. If you've don't significant work in the current version, that will be lost because you'll have to go back to the file as last saved using the prior version of Muse. Finally, there's a significant probability that error/crash is related to content in the file, network configuration, or other outside forces and if that's the case reverting won't avoid the error/crash.
If you share more info about what error you're encountering, I expect we can determine a workaround/solution.

  • Every time I try to use adobe reader it crashes? (Mac 0s 10.9.3)

Every time I try to use adobe reader it crashes..tried reinstalling but same thing happens! Any ideas?

I would try deleting the program and download it again. Perhaps some part of it didn't download when you originally downloaded it.

  • Adobe Reader X Crashes after Java Update to Version 7 Update 51

Thanks.  I've posted there as well.  Anyone know if there's a workaround to keep reader from crashing with this form, or is my only option to roll back the servers until the creator of the form updates it?
(I have notified their webmaster of the issue, but who knows how long it will take the state to update the form.)

  • How do I stop Adobe Reader from crashing on my unprivileged user?

I am running Windows 7 and I needed to create an unprivileged user on my computer. When I open a PDF file, it almost instantly crashes (I can view the document for about three seconds). If I simply open Adobe Reader without a PDF and click Edit -> Preferences, it crashes. If I open a PDF in any browser, it crashes.
From what I have been able to surmise, it seems that Adobe Reader is trying to read the registry of my privileged user. I have tried uninstalling Adobe Reader, temporarily giving privileges to my unprivileged user, installing Adobe Reader on that user, and then remove the permissions, but the crash still occurs. The only way to stop Adobe Reader from crashing is to start the program as an administrator or change the account type to administrator. How do I stop Adobe Reader from crashing on my unprivileged user?

It said "Adobe Reader has stopped working" soon after I opened it, but I was still able to scroll down the document. It was only once I pressed Close Program that it stopped working.
Upon trying it a second time, it immediately stopped letting me scroll down when the program crashed. Here is the error log, I receive the exact same exception code every time:
    Application Error
