Adobe Reader Multimedia Shortcuts

Hello Adobe,
I have some pencast pdf files that have the multimedia windows where I can play my pencasts. I want to know what are the keyboard shortcuts for play/pause and play forward/backward

Was muss ich damit tun? Was muss ich ggf. installieren?
    Besten Dank und viele Grüße,
    André

  • Adobe Reader Desktop Shortcut...... why?

Why do Adobe Reader updates insist on putting a shortcut on my desktop, without even asking if I want one??? Come to that, why does anyone need one anyway if all you have is reader? I never open a .pdf document by opening reader first, I just click on the document.

Some people may want one. Whether you right click and move it to the recycle bin or have to opt out of having on during the update, it'd be about the same amount of work.

Everyone doesn't work the same way. Maybe they want to open Reader and look for recent documents. Hard to say.

  • Problems with all versions of Adobe Reader Changing shortcuts upon install.

I am using windows 7 and attempting to install Adobe Reader 9.3.4.  When I do this all of my shortcut icons change to Adobe Reader icons.  Also, the destination links in the shortcuts have NOT changed but when I click on something such as the calculator it will try to open Adobe Reader.  The shortcuts return to normal when Adobe Reader is uninstalled.  I have installed several older versions of Adobe Reader and the same thing happens.  has anyone heard of this happening and if so do you happen to know of a solution?

There was some discussion here around this issue. Please refer to the following post:

  • Adobe Reader Shortcut Icons don't display properly

Uninstalled and reinstalled latest version. Recently used program list on XP Home S3 Start Menu doesn't display Adobe logo and neither does Adobe Reader 9 shortcut on All Programs. PDF shortcuts display properly.
Tried to search knowledge base and found no relevant articles. I can't believe you have to buy support for Adobe products.
    Thanks

You can use Properties | Change Icon to adjust the icons on shortcuts.  Unfortunately this has to be done on each shortcut itself; it will not adjust all of them automatically.

  • Cannot Open Adobe Reader 9

I have spent the better part of three days trying to follow the threads to fix my problem. Most of the suggestions invlove opening Reader 9 and do this and that. I am using Windows Vista ( which I detest) and I cannot even open Reader 9. I get a window that says "Windows has detected an internal error." No further instructions, no error number, no nothing.
I have also gone to the Adobe Support site for Reader. Even tho I registered my application, I did not locate my PW. ID is my e-mail but when I go to the "forgot PW" page, and enter my ID, which it says is Step One, the page just keeps saying ID and PW do not match, which is WHY I am at THAT page to begin witrh. This is very frustrating. I am at that proverbial "Catch 22" situation and am pulling my hair out.
I cannot open any e-mail attachment that is sent in Adobe ( which 95% of them are), cannot begin to fix the problem because I cannot open Reader 9 and cannot contact tech support because they do not allow me to retrieve my PW. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Denise,
I am having the same exact problem as you are having. I am also using Windows Vista and am having problems with Adobe Reader 9.1 The download doesn't seem to fully complete. I also am an administrator and logged in as such on this computer. I had another user account that I created for others that might use this computer. I logged into that user account yesterday and I received notifications that updates were available for Adobe, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. I installed all the updates and got the problem with Adobe Reader. Could the problem have been created by me installing the update for Adobe Reader through the user account? Adobe Reader worked on the user account but then I logged off and logged into my main account (administrator account) and there was a problem with Adobe. I tried to uninstall Adobe Reader (through the control panel) and was unsuccessful (I figured I can uninstall it and then reinstall). I then just deleted the user account and arrived to where I am right now.
I click on Adobe Reader's shortcut on my desktop and get a popup stating:
    "An internal error occurred."
Then I close the popup and get the famous green bar from hell that is associated with Vista stating:
"Adobe Reader 9.1 has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." blah blah blah
I then click to close that window....windows returns a solution...to go to Adobe Incorporated....etc. and sends me to download Adobe Reader 9.1....I proceed to download
First I get a popup window during the installation process stating:
"Welcome to Setup for Adobe Reader 9.1 Adobe Reader 9.1 Setup is preparing to guide you through the program setup process. Please wait. Computing space requirements."
Then the process gets interrupted with this popup:
"Setup Completed Setup was interrupted before Adobe Reader 9.1 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again. Click Finish to exit setup."
Along with the previous window I also get an error message stating the following:
"Adobe Reader 9.1 Installer Information Error 1606. Could not access network location %APPDATA%\."
There is an Adobe Reader 9 Installer file on my desktop which includes the setup files. I open the setup file to complete the installation process and I get the same error messages.
I believe this problem has to do with the registry.
This is very frustrating. CAN ANYONE WITH INFORMATION HELP PLEAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

    Please help

Hello. I have had the exact same problem as the person above, with the exact same crash timestamps and IDs. Using the msi worked for me aswell but I was left with an issue. If I install the product via msi instead of exe, everytime I delete one of adobe reader's shortcuts, I will get a "please wait while windows configures acrobat" every time I launch adobe reader. At the end of this process the shortcuts are put back in my programs and desktop, basically adobe insists on keeping them there and if I dare to remove them it detects the change, launches windows installer, and puts them back.
As I understand there are certain command line parameters for the MSI that will either prevent instalation of shortcuts altogether, or stop adobe from "regenerating" itself everytime I delete them. How can I do that?

  • Can't access Adobe Reader,...

After downloaded the new Adobe Reader version, it states that I cannot open any documents in PDF without agreement to the End User Agreement first.  I've searched the Internet for this Agreement and found it but it has no where to AGREE.  I thought this would automatically be done just prior to Adobe downloading to my computer.  Re-downloaded and Re-started my computer,... still the same problem.  HELP!

What happens when you launch Adobe Reader via shortcut?
Go to Reader folder and double click on Eula.exe
    Accept license agreement from there.
    hope this helps.

  • What is the shortcut key to highlight words in adobe reader in macbook pro

what is the shortcut key to highlight words in adobe reader in macbook pro?
Shift + U is not working
how can i change shortcut key?

I don't believe there is a keyboard shortcut available for that feature. But I believe if you click-select the topmost chapter, and Shift-click the bottommost chapter, it should select them all.
Other shortcuts for books can be set up in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts in the Panel Menus product area. There are no default shortcuts in that area.

  • Different keyboard shortcuts in Adobe Reader 9 for navigation

In Adobe Reader 9 (German) the keyboard shortcuts for navigation have changed obviously. In previous versions one can zoom in/out to window size with "CTRL-0". Now CTRL-0 zooms in (like CTRL-+ before). CTRL-1 seems to zoom out. Is this a bug or why does Adobe change the shortcuts in Adobe Reader 9 (btw: any other Adobe product uses the same shortcuts as older versions).
Does anybody know, how to resize the document to window size via keyboard shortcut?
    Thanks in advance. Best regards.

    Hi!
I was wondering about the exact same thing:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.59b65468
I believe it is not a bug, just an unreasonable, stupid change.
Thanks though, for mentioning that you actually can zoom in now using ctrl+0 (or ctrl+2 i guess)!
For resizing to window size I use "ctrl+L", so if you are in zoomed mode you have to holde ctrl and hit L twice to jump to window size again. Hope that helped!

  • Adobe Reader Shortcuts

    Hi there,
i apologize in advance for maybe reopening an issue maybe - hopefully - already solved, but once being in this forum, it's not possible to search _inside_ a specific (in this case: Adobe Reader) forum but only in the complete Adobe forums... hmpff :-P
OK - with the upgrade from Reader 8 to 9 i the keyboard shortcuts for navigating in pdf files changed (at least in the german version), which is very, very annoying:
Zoom in was CTRL+NUM+, now it is CTRL+NUM0,
Zoom out was CTRL+NUM-, now it is CTRL+NUM1,
Fit to window was CTRL+NUM0, which is gone now :-(
Just poor, and even more annoying considering that with this change Adobe developers themselves broke up the so overcelebrated CS consistency.
Is there any way to get back the old shortcuts, any hint for a workaround? Is it possible to alter any program file f.e. with Resource Hacker to get the old shortcuts work?
    Thanks for any help,

  • Can I load multimedia PDF file into Adobe Reader iOS

I have a number of MM PDF file with associated mp3 sound files, can I read these in Adobe Reader for iOS on my iPad 3?

    Adobe Reader doesn't support multimedia.
You need to use a paid PDF reader like PDF Expert.

  • How to disable right-click and keyboard shortcuts in adobe reader?

    Hello All,
We are currently working on an issue. We want to display a pdf to users but not allow them to save it. Though we are able to hide the menubar and toolbars, the Shortcuts F8, F9 and Ctrl+Shift+S is the undoing of all. The user can still use these shortcuts to enable toolbar and menubar. Can anyone suggest how to disable the right-click and keyboard shortcuts in adobe reader?
    Thanks in Advance

Impossible, and illogical. PDF files are not streamed or RAM-cached so if someone is viewing a file they must have already saved it.
