ADOBE READER N'A PAS PU OUVRIR VOTRE DOCUMENT?

Bonjour,
J'ai téléchargé adope reader (pour mac) version 11 sur un mac os 10.9.1.
Lorsque j'ouvre un fichier en PDF sur un site internet quelconque , je parviens à l'ouvrir sans aucun problème et à le visionner.
Le problème est que lorsque j'enregistre ce même fichier PDF sur mon bureau et que j'ouvre ensuite le fichier... Voici le message adobe reader qui apparait:
"Adobe Reader n'a pas pu ouvrir Voc TOEIC.pdf, car le type de fichier n'est pas pris en charge ou le fichier est endommagé (il a été envoyé en tant que pièce jointe et n'a pas été décodé correctement, par exemple)."
J'ai désinstallé puis réinstallé le logiciel et toujours le même problème...
Est-ce que vous avez déjà eu ce type de problème?
Avez-vous une solution qui puisse résoudre ce problème?

Files opened via Google Drive are not listed in ‘Documents' section of Adobe Reader, because they are read only files. If you really want to save these files to ’Documents' then please follow below steps -
Open the file from Google drive in Adobe Reader.
Tap on the Comment icon placed at top toolbar(Second icon from the beginning)
You would encounter a 'Read-Only document’ dialog, tap on Save button.
Once you performed above steps , your file will be saved in /Download/Adobe Reader/ folder.

When I check the file it shows Zero KB downloaded but the file appears - any suggestions?

Obviously your download was not successful.
What is your operating system? How exactly do you download such files?

Need help resolving newly discovered problem wherein all of sudden I can no longer open and display pdf files within IE and but end up with a blank screen [shows blue loading gauge 55.8kb/55.8kb for example doc] unless I down load the pdf file and then open it using Reader XI ver 11.0.2 [Plug-Ins 11.0.01.36] which opens the files just fine. Technically, you CAN embed a pdf so that it opens within the page. Use <embed src="http://yoursite.com/the.pdf" width="500" height="375">
But you'll want to test it with all browsers (assuming this is something you are trying to accomplish).

Il faut trouver l'application "Adobe Reader" dans "Applications", et la lancer.

Windows XP Professional sp2 machine
512 memory
ie sp2
when opening two pdfs from a website links receive the error, "there was an error opening this document. this file cannot be found"
If you save the file to the pc, then open the .pdf it opens ok
other pdfs open ok from browser from same website and different websites
had customer try on another's machine; the two pdfs opened ok
tried Adobe Reader 8.1, 9.0, and Adobe Professional 8.0
uninstalled reader and professional; deleted directories; reinstalled reader and professional(placed into a separate directory); same error
On the machine tried admin accounts, under customer's profile made admin account, renamed the customer's account so that another account was freshly generated, all generated the same error.
Ran ccleaner to clean up files in the registry and temporary internet files, then repaired adobe - same error
repaired internet explorer - same error
scoured web for same error but most were applications trying to open the pdfs, a few errors were for programming php, a lot of questions but few answers in context of current issue. the ccleaner and repairing ie were resolutions i found on the web.
nothing was listed in msoft's ie knowledgebased searched.
any help would be appreciated.

I get the same message when I try to open a pdf attachment in my free AOL e-mail account. This problem just started today for some unknown reason. I have Adobe Reader 9 and never had a problem before. If I forward e-mails with a pdf attachment to my Road Runner account, I can open it with no problem. Surely Apple are able to help fix this, it's driving me nuts!
I've deleted Adobe reader and re-installed to no avail.
Files display correcly in Safari but not in Adobe or Preview.

Adobe Reader 9.3.3 will not display documents w/ OS 10.6.4 Any Help?

I have a new MacBook Pro w/ OS 10.6.4. & Safari 5.0.1 Right out of the box Adobe Reader would not display documents. I downloaded Adobe Reader 9.3.3 & installed. When attempting to see pdf files on Safari OR pdf files on my hard drive, all I will get is a dark grey screen. Blank. No message. No errors. My older G4 iMac has no problems. Only the Mac Book Pro with latest OS. I noticed that the Adobe web site listed version 9.3.3 available for Intel Mac OS 10.6.3. I also uninstalled Adobe then tried new download/installs several times, rebooting system after each uninstall and download. Does anyone have any idea what the issue is and how to fix it?

Carolyn: I was able, through more research in the discussion groups, to find a solution that resolved my problem! In the HD>applications folder>safari>get info I checked the "open in 32 bit mode" box. Then I went to Adobe Reader>preferences>Internet and unchecked the box "display PDF in browser using" [Adobe Reader 9.3.3]. I then closed my Safari Browser, restarted the computer and, happy days are here again! On my older G5 I only had to set the preferences on the Adobe Preferences, as Safari 5.0.1 only appears to work in 32 bit mode, as the 32 bit mode check box was not there. You may want to pass this on to other users with the same or similar problems.

Adobe Reader DC, doesn't disable "Display PDF Document in the web browser" when option is unchecked.

The option under Accessibility>Setup Assistanct to uncheck the "Display PDF Document in the web browser" doesn't correctly disable Display PDF in browser when unchecked, it still defaults to opening in Internet Explorer even after restarting the browser. Confirmed this tested agianst with IE 8, 9, 10 and 11 with the same behavior. Moving back to Reader 11.0.10 and using this same setting works flawlessly. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Adobe Reader LE 1.5 and Deleting Recent Documents

On my E71, I am having difficulty deleting PDFs from the Reader's recent document list. There is no option to remove them, and the files don't seem to be stored anywhere in the filesystem that I can get to via Bluetooth or the File Manager.
Any ideas? I hate to have my memory occupied by documents that I'll never need again.

This is the rare annoying thing i found on N73 too the recent documents list in Adobe reader and real player never gets cleared up initially i found it to happen when i viewd a pdf file directly from the email instead of downloading it to my mobile later that was not the case it remained permanently there for all the files irrespective of viewing it online or storing it to the device. Only way to clear that up is to do a format using *#7370# AFAIK(which will erase all ur phone data) it is a silly thing to do for filename staying in the recent viewed list so i live with it

Adobe Reader 10 gets focus when openning a document via SAPGUI

I have SAP GUI application where is displayed PDF file. When PDF is open it gets the screen focus and function keys are not active. I found this http://forums.adobe.com/thread/392940 but it's from 2007. Anybody know if there is something new about this issue?

Unfourtenetly we cannot just restore focus afterwards. Our command window sends messages asynchronsly to a mainframe system, to find the documents we want to display. The mainframe system posts the documents one after another to a message queue. Our application displays the documents when they arrive on the message queue. This can take up to 10 seconds, if we have to display many documents. Therefore we cannot switch focus forth and back for each document. Also we do not know when Adobe Reader have finished displaying a document, so we do not know how long time to wait, until setting back the focus.

Adobe Reader 8 gets focus when opening a document via DDE

We have an application that incorporates Adobe Reader. The application consists of two windows. In one window the user can enter commands, which causes Adobe Reader to display a document in the other window.
Until now, we have used DDE commands to call Adobe Reader 6. This worked fine for the user, as focus stayed in the command window, which meant that the user could issue a number of commands, without having to regain focus.
We have just installed Adobe Reader 8 on our machines and now Adobe Reader steals the focus, every time a DDE command is sent.
Is there a setting we can change to stop Adobe Reader from stealing focus or is there a work around that we can use to avoid the problem?

Will installing adobe reader on my Mac interfere with existing documents?

My bank says I need to down load "reader" in ordr to receive their reports; but I worry about the effect doing so will have on existing files.

I once tried to receive information from a financial institution which recommended that I down load some version of an Adobe application. The result was that all of my existing documents became corrupted and the company IT had to bail me out. So I hesitate to proceed now.
