Adobe Reader not printing correctly

PDF Reader is not printing the document except as an icon in the bottom right hand side of the printer.

You will have better luck live chatting with Adobe or your printer manufacturer.

can not get adobe reader with flash player to install correctly so that video will play when installed why? please contact @4025252201 thanks

    Hi,
Adobe reader and Flash player are two different softwares of Adobe.
Please try to install latest version of the softwares from www.adobe.com (scroll down to mid of the page) , these softwares are free from Adobe.
If you are facing problem with any of these softwares , than please mention the error message and operating system details.

  • Adobe reader not operating correctly

Since adobe reader updated to X, it has not worked correctly. It will run for about 10secs then will give "Not Responding" message and screen will turn translucent white (or gray). My operating system is vista, the reader version is 10.1.4. I've turned off auto updates to keep it from going to version 10.1.7. That version is totally non-operating on my system. Reading in web based documents is non-existent so I've turned that off too. Try going into the 3D tab to turn that off (read that might help) - forget it, not happening. At my wits end, trying to get this to work for days now...

  • Adobe Reader Not Printing to a Certain Printer

I have a teacher that has a locally connected (USB) HP LaserJet 1012 printer and a networked HP LaserJet 4050 in her classroom. She has the 1012 set up as her default printer and when she needs to print large jobs she switches to the 4050. The problem is when she tries to print PDFs to the 4050, the print job still goes to the 1012. The 4050 is using the Universal Printing PCL5 V5.1 driver, although it doesn't seem to matter which version of the universal driver I choose.
When I switch from the 1012 to the 4050 in the Name dropdown in the Print window (within the Adobe Reader program), it still says hp Laser Jet 1012 in the Type field. When I click OK to print with the 4050 selected, it still prints to the 1012. It's as if Reader (Version 10.1.1) doesn't recognize the 4050. When I make the 4050 the default printer, the Status and Type fields are blank. When I click the dropdown and select the 1012 those fields populate with "Ready" and "hp Laser Jet 1012", repectively.
I'm  not sure how to resolve this problem. What I am fearing is that it has to do with the age of the 4050 printer.

    Dear user,
    Thanks for reporting the problem.
It looks like some kind of set up issue at your end and I would request you to please uninstall and then re-install both the drivers. Things are working just fine at our end.

  • Adobe Reader not printing under suse 10.2

    Hello,
I am having a problem printing using Adobe Reader (version 8.1.2 SU1) running on Suse 10.2 KDE.
The following message is displayed when I go to print using Adobe reader:
bad printcap name '[email protected]', has '@' character
I am, however, able to print perfectly using any other program (including firefox, KPDF and even by command line). I have tried re-installing both Adobe reader and CUPS and I have also tried various different CUPS configurations. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
    Thank you,
    -FA

I am using the same version of Adobe Reader (8.1.2) and running SLED 10SP2 with Gnome desktop environment and having a similar error.
'lpr: error unable to access "[my printer name]" - No such file or directory'
I can print anything but PDF files...

  • Adobe Reader not printing, opening Save as Box

I am on Adobe Reader 10.1.3 and when I select Print, it opens the Print box to select printer and options, when I hit Print, it Opens "Save As" box.
Any idea on fixes for this?  I have repaired, Uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing is working.

It appears as if your printer drive has defaulted to print to file, hence the save as dialog box. If you uncheck this option it should work as expected.

  • Adobe reader not printing all document content.

I am printing from a web based PDF document and it will not print all the document/ form content.
I am using a Win7 computer, IE 8, and an HP DJ 2400 printer
I have tried un-enabling advanced fatures, tried changing the print processor, and tried changing the options from document, to document and markups, to document and stamps, all to no avail.
I know there is a simple issue and resolution to this, but I just can't remember what it is.
    Thanks in advance
    IKE

Try copying the file to your local machine and then print it from there. So when it opens, click "File", then "Save a copy".

  • Adobe Reader not printing

Could anyone out there please enlighten me? Attempting to print .pdf-files invariably end with an error message from my printers (Samsung, Epson, HP). Of course, I can always print the file using Preview, but I don't like the detour. I'd be grateful for any suggestion.

Since Reader is not an Apple product, I suggest you post your question on Adobe's forums: http://www.adobeforums.com

  • PDF FILE WILL NOT WORK OR OPEN ADOBE READER NOT WORKING CORRECTLY.

PDF FILE WILL NOT OPEN IN A FEW APPLICATIONS AS THEY DID BEFORE. IF I CAN'T VIEW THEM I CAN'T PRINT THEM.

    Hi
Why wouldn't an Apple file D/L into an Apple browser?
Likely due there being a non-Apple plugin trying to handle it & failing.
Look in Home/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ and HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ for any plugins with 'pdf' in the name.
Remove any you find - either trash or take to the desktop, restart any browsers, then try a pdf.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro X 10.1.7 (Mac) does not print correctly.

I have a Mac Pro (Model 1.1) with Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.7.  When an item is scanned, it appears correctly on the screen, but it does not print correctly.  I am sending along screenshots of what a scanned item looks like on the screen and then what prints.

Thanks Michael, have tried that, no luck. I will wait a couple of days to see if any other solutions come up (or if anyone else is suddenly having the same issue) before reinstalling Acrobat.
[OK just tried sending a PDF attachment directly from another program (MYOB) through to Mac Mail and had the same problem so it is not an Acrobat issue afterall, it is a Mac Mail or Mac OS X issue. Will post this on the Apple site.]
I have resolved the MYOB issue, it was working just painfully slow. So I still have the original Acrobat Pro PDF to Mac Mail issue if anyone knows of any solutions please?

  • PDF will not print correctly from any app

I seem to keep on getting the same error everywhere I print on SL (from safari/firefox/preview etc etc)
It will usually print any lines or logos but miss all text?? I did have the dreaded adobe reader installed but have since removed it?
I am in urgent need of printing out some manuals for a class so in real trouble, help!

Where do these PDFs that do not print correctly come from? Are they downloaded from the internet or from email? Or do you create them yourself on your computer? If so, in which program?
Do some PDF files print correctly, but not others? Did you remove the dreaded Acrobat Reader before this problem developed or after? Did this problem develop only after you ungraded to a certain release of Snow Leopard or has it never worked in SL?
PDF is wonderful technology, but every so often there can be issues.

  • 11x17 tabloid does not print correctly

I am using an HP Photosmart printer model 8550, my previous printer was an HP Photosmart 8750. That printer died and the 8550 is the newer model of the same printer. When trying to print an 11X17 document in tabloid, the page does not print correctly nor does it show in preview mode correctly. The page shifts to the upper left corner so that the left side and top of the document do not print. If you scale down the size you can get it to print the whole documentm but you cannot get it to use the whole 11x17 page. Anyone else with this problem and a solution? Thanks!

I am having a similar problem.  I have windows XL,
and a hp Deskjet 9800.  I have been using PM 6.5 ever since it came out.  I publish a newsletter using tabloid fold in half, under booklet.  So it is a really a 4 page document.  It has always done fine until this week.  It prints the copy in reduced format that would fit on a 8 1\2 x 11.  I have tried every setting possible, with no success.  Today I downloaded the trial 7.0 version, it does the same thing.  I went back and printed old versions that a 3 & 4 years old they won't print right now, either.
It's old software and new operating system/printer drivers. You are unlikely to get any help from Adobe or HP but you can try.
Create a PDF and print that as it's unlikely the DeskJet has PS mode.
BTW, booklet printing is far easier with ISO paper sizes.
Move on up to InDesign while you can still get a big discount with PM Licence number.

  • Adobe Reader V9 Printing issues

I have windows XP Pro with SP3, IE 8 and adobe reader 9.
When prinitng .pdf documents to any of the network printers be it ( Canon, lexmark or HP ) it does not print correctly. Some of the pages are blank or has data on the botom of the page.
    Any suggestions will be helpful...

    unfortunately it didn't work.
It's weird how an application (company) like this could not provide those kind of such easy fixes. I'm not expecting updates or so, but at least a troubleshooting paragraph about this specific problem.
This problem is well known, there are plenty of pages talking about it.
I just installed Foxit reader and printed pages were perfect. This demonstrate's Adobe Reader/Acrobat fault.
