Adobe Reader PDF Corrupted, What is the # for tech support?
I am not getting the answers to my needs. I need to speak with Adobe Reader. Most of my PDF are coruppted.? I need to speak with a representative and get this fixed? What Adobe PDF Repair product will fix this? and Version 10.1.8 and MAC computer. I need more straight answers. Not vague answers please.

Apparently it will not support 10.1.8? I have used other PDF for MAC but that is up to 10.1.7.
I am asking for more info and more help on my problem. The Adobe website does not clearly offer a phone number to offer people to call in. I need that option. I am Deaf.
I am not trying to be rude but I am frustrated. I spend alot of my time looking for one. Lost all of my files worth over 2 years. I need to understand how did it get corrupted the first place? And how to prevent from next time.

Four months ago I wrote that when I tried to open Adobe Reader PDF for any reason, Photoshop Elements 4 took over and Adobe Reader was opened in PE4.
I was given advice toopen and check in a word document my file association and to "tell" the system to open in Adobe PDF format. I did that but whenever I open Adobe PDF for any reason (the last occasion was to download my travel insurance from Insure and Go), PE4 opens and Adobe PDF has to be printed from inside that programme. Nothing has changed.
I want Adobe Reader PDF to open in its own format, and I want to stop Adobe Reader PDF being opened inside the PE4 programme. How do I do it?

When I create a PDF with Adobe Reader XI, it wont take the links behind the images. Sometimes he does, mostly not.. Whats the solution? The links in text do work!

With just the free Reader? No way that I know of. You would need Acrobat.

I created a PDF of my book in Preview and encrypted it. When opened in Adobe Reader, it is rotated to the vertical position rather than the original landscape position. How do I fix this in Preview? I don’t want to hassle my buyers with rotating. There was no option in Preview to account for this automatic and unwanted rotation.
Then you rotate it and SAVE or SAVE AS and it will remain that way.

How do I "Launch" Adobe Reader in order to accept the Terms and Conditions in order to view PDF documents? ....Somers I'm using a MAC with up to date software.
Launching is just the normal word in Apple's word for "run an app". You can launch an app from the Applications folder, or in recent versions of Mac OS using the LaunchPad (rocket icon). You can't assume all your apps appear on the dock (bottom strip), it's only the ones Apple put there or you added.

Using Adobe 11 reader, now comes up with an error, once file is opened. 'Invalid plugin detected, Adobe reader will quit. Closes the program so cannot view PDF files. Running windows 7. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe still the same. HELP
Sounds like something has been added into the Reader folder. I would recommend uninstalling, running http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, removing any left over parts of the Reader folder (this might have been the problem), reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully that solves the problem. For future question about Reader, you should consider asking in the Reader forum, this is not it.

Adober reader shows corrupted bookmarks of pdf files
after upgrading to Mavericks if I open a pdf file with Adobe Reader it will be opened but the bookmarks are somehow corrupted:
they are listed with a grey area besides it and with a big space to the next entry (see image).
How can this be fixed?
In previous Mac OS X version this wasn't a problem, but with Mavericks? .. seems like apple has changed something - and no one knows about it
Example with Acrobat Reader:
with Preview now the bookmarks are displayed (new in 10.9?) but otherwise scrolling through a pdf isn't as comfortable as with Adobe Reader:As a follow to the above, the problem was related to a file transfer. The PDFs in question were being transfered from a Unix platform to a Windows Server. The transfer was defaulting to ASCII or Text and not binary. Apparently this was never an issue with older versions of Adobe Reader. Once the transfer was switched to binary, Reader X was able to view the files with no missing pages. Something was being stripped from the file that Reader X just didn't like.

I am using Adobe 8 Professional and working on Windows XP. I have been facing an issue lately with opening files in a dual-monitor environment. All my Adobe Reader (PDF) files are opening only in the secondary monitor by default. There are times when I work only in one monitor and when I open a PDF file and want to have a look at it, I have to connect another monitor to view that file, since this file is open in the secondary monitor. It is very disappointing with such instances happening with Adobe (a leading organization). Can you please help so that the Adobe Reader files open in the primary monitor by default?
On a Windows system disable the preview of Windows Explorer.

Filling up a pdf form which I received as email. I opened it on my adobe reader 11 and filled up the highlighted fields. Yet when I click on the send via mail it says changes will not be included. How do I send the form with changes?
The add annotations field shows as not allowed in the security options. So how do I send this form back with the changes??I think you you need to click 'save' first, then it is saved to acrobat, where it will prompt to send.

On opening some pdfs in new tab, get a box labeled Adobe Acrobat with a ? in it. Go back to the original link, right click on the link gets the pdf. What does the box and ? mean and why do I get it when trying to open some pdfs? Running W7, FF 10.0.2, Adobe Standard 9. Thanks.

I am now unable to print pdf documents. The message on screen says I have not selected any pages to print, even though the bullet point saying 'All' pages has been clicked. I have recently upgraded to adobe reader XI, could that be the problem? I also cannot sign in to Adobe Export pdf now either. It says 'error occured while signing in'!
Open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences | Documents: change View Documents in PDF/A Mode to Never.
