Adobe reader probs

Adobe Reader, since downloading upgrade early Feb, computer has not been the same, all sorts of problems with malware etc have been reading tech info regarding this matter

what does one have to do to fix the problem?????? think I will have to take computer to the dr.
I have thought about uninstalling theupgrade will that help, problems only started when google chrome downloaded as well, have uninstalled that, but I have so much malware which cannot be removed I read a UK Tech magazine and the same prob in the uk and a patch has been issued but not according to the Australian site.

Adobe Reader Printing Probs

Hi Guys.............using latest Adobe Reader update together with Windows 7 and use a couple of old HP printers Deskjet 880C and 930C and an Epson stylus Photo RX 430 and after recent Adobe online updates when one tries to print a PDF it wont print and goes/takes the PDF into SAVE MODE when the print option is clicked. Printers work fine with Windows Word, Yahoo mail etc.

Oops, I forgot to NOTE: this only happens when I'm printing a pdf from online. If I'm printing from a saved file from my computer adobe reader works just fine. so it's something with the settings of adobe reader and my browser. I use chrome, always have and I'm just now experiencing issues these past couple of weeks. I'm sure it's just a simple little box to check or uncheck or something, so I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

Adobe Reader 9.3 has stopped working ---- close the program

When trying to open a PDF document, I get the Adobe Reader error box. Adobe Reader 9.3 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.
I went to the Adobe site and followed the instructions to add/remove program and reinstall newer version from Adobe website. The new install is the 9.3 version and I am still getting this error message. HELP ME!

I am running win 7 ultimate and had the same issue.
To fix: Do a clean install by first uninstalling Reader and removing all left over files....I use Revo (freeware) in the advanced mode to accomplish this

Otherwise....make sure you remove all the reader files from c:\programs(86) or programs and clean out the registry as well. Reboot and reinstall.
Fixed it right up ..., no more probs.

Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser!

I'm relatively new to the world of Mac and am delighted so far.
However, I've tried downloading a bill from an energy supplier's site (Powergen) and it opens a window then says "we could not access your bill." I've tried on various occasions - same result. It may be the site is having problems; maybe it doesn't recognise Safari (although other areas of 'online account management' seem OK). Also, I tried downloading a document from the British Gas site and it told me I need Adobe Reader. On other sites (so far) PDF-style docs load into Safari's reader with no probs.
Basically, do I need Adobe Reader? Should I try Debug? (where Safari 'pretends' to be IE), and/or should I try different browsers? In my Windows days I used Firefox, although I gather Camino is more 'purpose built' for the Mac. Is this the case?

I can't provide a link to the Powergen bill page exactly as that is part of the 'security log-in' section.
The British Gas page, however, appears below. I'm sorry about the length of the url but I haven't yet figured out how to make a proper clickable link here.
If you paste the below into your browser and go to this page on their site, then click on the sentence 'British and Scottish Gas Prices' in blue down the page hopefully it will then try to get you their price list. It was at this point I got the 'Acrobat Reader required' message in a new window.

ich möchte meinem Kunden anbieten eine PDF-Datei, die
auf eine CD gebrannt wird sich auf der CD anzugucken. Also ohne,
dass er sich den Reader auf sein System installieren muß. Ist

Adobe reader as default on iphone 4s

How can I set my iphone 4s to use Adobe reader as the default for reading PDF's

If you send me a PDF, I can make notes and drawings on this pdf using adobe acrobat and email it back to you.
If you open it in the built in reader, you will not be able to see my changes on your iphone. If you have the adobe reader app you can request it be opened by adobe and then see my notations. I send emails to folks who can't see the notations and was hoping to find an easy way for them to see my drws. some of them lack iphone "smarts" prob incld myself??? I am hoping to send them a set of instructions on "how to set adobe as the default reader" !!!!

hi guys..i want delete file from adobe reader after download from email. unfortunately i cant see any delete icon in my file. Any ways to delete it?

Check out the new and FREE 'AIR Browser' File Manager in appworld. You can use it to create/rename/delete folders and sub-folders, it can also copy, cut, paste and delete files.

how can I print just a part of the page and not the full page with Adobe Reader v 10.1.2? I need to print a engineering print with lot of information but information is too small in letter size and I don't have a plotter.

Two ways to print a portion of a page: zooming or using the Snapshot Tool.
ZOOMING:
Zoom into the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure "Current view" is selected under "More options" (you may need to click "More options" to open it).
If you aren't satisfied with the preview, try clicking "Fit" under the Size button.
SNAPSHOT
Choose Edit > Take A Snapshot.
Drag a rectangle around the area you want to print.
Click the Print icon.
Under "Pages to Print", make sure that "Selected Graphic" is selected under "More options".
To enlarge the snapshot to fit the sheet of paper, choose "Fit" under the Size button.

Email pdf to iPad - is there a way to open multiple pdfs at one time without having to hold each individually and open with adobe reader?

I have a large number of pdf files to send to an iPad and it is taking forever to hold down each one and then choose to open with adobe reader. Just wondering if there is a way to select all from the email to do the same action?

Not that i know of but an alternate would be to use something like dropbox instead of mail. Their app works very well.

That is a problem caused by Microsoft or one of their recent updates. Here is the solution
in the Windows Explorer address bar type %APPDATA%
on the right-hand side double-click on the Microsoft folder
now look for a folder named Crypto; delete it, or rename it to something like Crypto-old

Please let me know if you have tried converting any other PDF to word with Reader.
Alos, please sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials. Click on 'ExportPDF' tab and upload the PDF that you want to convert to Word.
