Adobe reader shows text but won't print all the text
I have a form used by many and it works with no problem. Today one came in you could see all the text, but when printed, only some of the text appeared.
I checked it on 3 machines, also one that has Acrobat 9 on it, same results.
On the print setup, under comments and forms, I have Documents and Markup set, but if I click on "form field only" I do get the missing text.
As said we have gotten many forms from other people, no problems, so it really not for lack of knowing how to print it correctly.
The only print preview I can see I have is when I go to print it, it appears on the right, and it is missing the text there.
I have removed all name and address from the form for privacy reason, I did add my name in a few blocks and then saved it but it won't print that also.
for some reason only the top row under CPR AED and SFA print, but as you can see, there are a bunch that don't, along with all the names I removed.

Tuesday--still working on this, I activited the voice part of my acrobat 9 and it reads all the text while in PDF form, just won't print it.

Restarted computer and seems to be working again.

When Mozilla Firefox last automatically updated, it suggested that Adobe Reader needed updating. After updating to Adobe Reader 8, I can no longer print from the internet, only to a file. I know the printer and its interface must be OK because Word prints normally.
Problem solved, it was my oversight, I had not removed the check from the Print to File box in the print set up.

I am having problems with the month of October. When I have the full month view, the synced items from google calendars won't show. But they do for all the other months. There is definitely a glitch somewhere because if I am on day view and try to click on day 15 of October, it will not let me. It totally is acting weird.
Free fonts, fonts from a reliable foundry?
Have you tried removing them temporarily?
Do you still have problems if you create a new Windows user account and log in with that? How about if you start in Safe Mode?
And I would run a memory checker and see Troubleshoot font problems | Windows -
I usually have 3-4 tabs open which I am saving to read later. But I loose them all the time when firefox crashes or when another appliaction opens firefox to download something and it will discard all my tabs. This is incredibly annoying, is there a way to save my tabs ? or get them back when there is no "restore session" button ?
In Firefox Options / Privacy be sure "Remember download history" is checked. To see all of the options on that panel, "Firefox will" must be set to "Use custom settings for history".
To find your OS information, on your Windows desktop, right-click the My Computer icon, choose Properties, under System on that small window is info about your OS.

I can see the pictures in Events in iPhoto, but I can't open them. When I right click on an Event it just says Edit, but won't open all the pictures in Events. It used to open, but something is wrong. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

I got your note and was able to complete the first part, but when I came to Finder, Go To Folder and I typed in both /var/db/receipts/ and /private/var/db/receipts all I get is NOT FOUND message. I tried several times, but no luck.

Won't print all the horizontal grid lines
The printer won't print all my horizontal lines on a spreadsheet.
Do a print preview, and if the lines are missing in the preview, then it's the sreadsheet app, or setting in the spreadsheet. If the preview has the lines but not on the printout, it could be the printhead had a nozzle or two clogged, try "clean printhead" in the tools menu.

Adobe Reader 11.0.05 won't always display the GUI when opening PDF?!
I have come across some odd behaviour with Adobe Reader 11.0.05. In particular, the following issues seem to have surfaced since upgrading to 11.x from 9.x.
Opening a PDF from any application, launches an "AcroRd32.exe" process but the GUI is not shown i.e. you don't see a Reader window or PDF. If you try open the PDF again it will launch another instance of that process and still won't show the GUI. Killing all AcroRd32.exe processes via Task Manager and re-opening the PDF will then work.
Some users are experiencing the following error when opening PDFs via IE and other 3rd party apps.
We've deployed 11.0.05 across a few thousand 32-bit Windows 7 PCs and it's a little concerning that PDFs won't always open. At this stage it is very random, maybe 1 out of 5 times it won't show the GUI but launch the process. Our only workaround is to advise users to kill all AcroRd32.exe processes and try again.
Our packaged 11.0.05 was created as follows:
AIP created from 11.0 msi > AIP patched with 11.0.04 msp (Q) > AIP patched with 11.0.05 msp (OOC). Transform was created using Adobe Customization Wizard 11.
Oddly, this does not occur using Adobe Reader 9.5.5 (or other versions of 9.x).

Previously when I had Adobe Acrobat 8 on my computer when I clicked on the PDF file on the Stock Exchange through Firefox It would immediately open the file. I have tried to reload the earlier version of Adobe Acrobat but it they will not allow me to do so.
If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem. -
Adjusting the layout to print all the text
Could anyone tell me how to adjust the layout in Pages? I've developed a marketing postcard and some of my copy on the far right of the card is covered by a light grey frame that I believe is the layout. All the margins are set to zero and I've tried to pick the layout from the ruler, to no avail. How do I move the layout (light grey frame) so I can print all my copy?

From your description I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to. If you select View > Show Layout and then drag the corner of your window so that more than your page is shown on the right. You should see a dark grey box on the right hand side of the window. This is just so you can see the edge of your page.
You will find that your page is outlined by a thin light grey border. This represents the area of your page that your printer cannot print on. Pages picks this up from the print driver for the printer you have selected in Page Setup or the default printer. This can sometimes be quite large - on my printer it is 0.25cm.
Within the light grey border is the printable area of your page. You will notice that on a new blank document this consists of boxes for the header, a single column of text and a footer. You can control the dimensions of these by adjusting the relevant settings in the Inspector.
From your description of margins set to zero I suspect that you are referring to the non-printable area but you should see it around all of the page not just on the right hand side. Your printer may support borderless printing but how the OS X driver and Pages interact with this facility will be very device specific. You could try fiddling with the setup but the simplest solution would be to adjust the layout so that your copy fits within the printable boundary. It is pretty easy to do.

I am trying to print a fillable form - - an application for a Chinese visa. It will not print and I get two error messages: "document could not be printed" and "there were no pages selected to print." The latter is not true. Won't print at all, the page I am on, nor any series of pages inserted.
Am using a MAC desktop and a Cannon PIXMA MX922 printer.

Adobe Reader 11.0.7 won't print on my MAC OS X 10.9.3 (internal error)
When I initially open documents, I get this type of error messages. If I reload the page, then the PDF or document usually opens but will not allow me to print. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application 30+ times at this point, have talked to Apple, QuickBooks, Intuit, and Adobe on the phone, though Adobe doesnt offer support for Reader or Acrobat. I am mostly trying to use my QuickBooks and Intuit payroll system to help start my new business. These require the use of adobe and I cannot print out required forms or run payroll! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Working on a project, updated to newest Premiere last night. This morning my project had terrible performance on playback, and eventually the viewer froze on one frame (though audio continued to play back). Every time I try to open it now, it freezes. Really screwing me over, as this project is one a time line. Any suggestion for trouble shooting?
