Adobe Reader Terms Of agreement

I can not use Adobe Reader because they say I never accepted the terns of agreement. Yet it is downloaded. How do i accept?

Once you launch Adobe Reader, it will prompt to accept the licensing agreement. If you don't get the Reader's licenisng agreement. Please download the latest Reader 11.0.03 from Adobe.com. Save the complete setup and then run the exe to install.

You need to do what the message says... to launch an app in Mac OS you go to the Applications folder and find the Adobe Reader icon. Double click on it. If there is more than one, click on each in turn, accept any agreements, quit.

When I try to print documents, the reader 10 user agreement comes on, with the accept below the taskbar.  It does not respond when the cursor is over it.

I opened up the EULA in the C drive, put it on low pixellation via properties and signed it then.  Thank you for your prompt attention to my difficulty.  Take care. -Steve

Are you doing this in the web browser?  If so, have you ever launched Adobe Reader as a standalone application?  If so, then you should have had the opportunity to accept the EULA.

  • Installed Adobe Reader - no license agreement

Installed Adobe Reader and when I try to use s]it says I need to sign license agreement but the agreement never comes up during installation.

If you are in Windows (which we don't know), you can try using Windows Explorer to navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement

  • Adobe Reader X EULA agreement issues

This has been commented on before, but I have a few other things to add we have seen at our company.
    Previous thread was http://forums.adobe.com/message/3791868
    Issue 1:
Cannot open emailed pdf attachment or any PDF locally that contains the uppercase Letters "CR" in the title.
    Three workarounds:
    1. Have Adobe Reader opened first before opening the pdf file attachment.
    2. Save and rename the file—removing the uppercase CR.
    3. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\FeatureLockDown]
    "bProtectedMode"=dword:00000001
Options 1 and 2 are not a good solution for the mass public when you may have 100's of thousands of files that contain CR. Option 3 we cannot use because of a conflict with SAP software we use.
    Issue 2:
Pdf document will not open and gives the EULA screen
    Resolution:
Check to see if the client has the full version of Adobe Pro.
If so, uninstall Adobe Reader X, using the Add/Remove Programs.
A repair may also be needed on the Adobe Pro (use repair found in Add/Remove Programs for
    Adobe.)
There may be a Adobe "Best Practices" article I missed, but this was the first major issue we had with clients running both Acrobat and Reader on the same computer.
Is there any sort of patch expected from Adobe to correct these?

We fixed this issue by installing patch 10.1.1. You can download this patch from Adobe’s FTP site: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.1.1/misc/ .
The cause was that many of our auto-generated documents contained the “CR” in either the filename or pathname.
    Good luck fixing this issue!

I am unable to get at the accept button on the Adobe Reader 9 licence agreement - I have a Dell notebook laptop and screen doesn't allow me to view the whole document and no matter what I do I can't getb the page to move up!! Can anyone help ?

    Hi predxeno,
Adobe Reader doesn't allow you to create PDF files--it's a PDF viewer. If you're looking to create a PDF file from a scanner, you can either use the software included with the scanner, or, better yet, you can use Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can try it free for 30 days. See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.
    Best,

  • Adobe Reader License Agreement pops up when I visit certain sites

    Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone can help.
On certain machines when I visit a specific web site through IE7 I get the Adobe Reader 8 'License Agreement' popup that asks me to accept or decline.
This doesn't happen on all sites and I can't understand why AReader8 is getting involved since the site is pure HTML and does not involve PDFs.
The site in question is :

Any help / ideas would be appreciated.
    cheers,

Make sure Readr is closed. Go to the Applications form, look for the Adobe Reader icon, double click on it, and follow the lead. Restart Reader when finished.

  • Offline installer for Adobe Reader

I'm trying to download offline installer of latest Adobe Reader for bulk installations on PCs in my company. It used to be simple and last version I got was 11.02.
Latest version forces me to register for distribution of Adobe software. Fair enough, I requested access to the Reader, got one email to confirm my details, then another one which should contain link to the .exe installer. Sadly the URL in "To download the English language version of Adobe Reader 9 with Acrobat.com in compressed .exe format, click here." redirects to this address:
    http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/enterprise/
which is the generic page asking me to apply to distribute Reader, which I just did.. "Adobe Reader 9" suggest that those automatic emails are quite outdated now, can anyone help?

  • Downloading Adobe Reader from distribution licence link - 404 page not found

I have recently applied for the Adobe distribution licence for Adobe Reader. This was successful, shortly after applying I received an email with the licence attached and a download link for Adobe Reader XI, The problem is the link doesn't work I just get 404 page not found, the link I cannot put on here as the licence will be broken.

What i need to know is can anyone (from Adobe) send me a replacement link, can I re-apply for the licence to get another link or even better under this licence can I download the software from Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions instead. I have contacted Adobe chat support who directed me to phone support, phone support flat out refused to help and said the only support would be via this forum.
Hopefully someone here can answer my questions.
    Thanks all.

Brilliant thanks, I see nothing wrong with downloading from here, it even states "In order to distribute Adobe Reader software you need to have a valid Adobe Reader Distribution Agreement in place" which I do.
    Thanks again ~graffiti

  • Adobe Reader DC All Language Serial No License in a Corperate Environment.

    hi Guys.
With regards to a Adobe Reader Corperate Distribution agreement and installing Adobe reader across the LAN.
According to the help files on the "multi language" Help part of the Reader DC Customization wizard it says that a "multi/all language  Serial number can be purchased" for MUI installs,
Does anyone know how much this is and where one can be purchased from ?
    Thanks
    Jason,

    Hey Pwillener.
Here is the link the help text. We probably want to match the installation with the language of the OS as we have different offices around the world.
Installation options — Acrobat Customization Wizard DC for Windows
    Language selection¶
    Note
It is critical that you configure the Application language in Installation Options tab prior to configuring settings on the PDF Creation Tab. Failure to do so can cause incorrect Job Options files to appear in the end user’s Job Options drop down list.
    Single language installs¶
For multi-lingual (MUI) installers that provide multiple language options, you can select a language to use during installation and in the installed product or allow the user to select a language to use during the install:
Select one of the following options:
Allow the user to choose the installation language: Provides the user with the option of selecting an available language to use during installation. Deselecting this box enables the Install Language drop down list.
Install Language: Provides a drop down list of available languages you can preselect for the user. The Setup.ini command is set to /sl <language ID code>.
    Install language
    Multiple language installs¶
All Acrobat installers are MUI “all language” installers. However you must provide a license that activates the language you need. English is always provided. It is also possible to purchase an All Language serial number that provides access to every language. If you do not change any option of MUI Installation language in this pane, an “All Language” serial number will install Acrobat in the language of the operating system. Since the Wizard does not validate serial number attributes, language settings are only applied if permitted by the license. For example, if a user provides language codes that are not supported by the serial number then installation fails with an error. The MUI language text field takes a comma-separated list of language codes. The easiest way to configure the field is to do the following:
Verify you are using a license with the Wizard that supports that languages you wish to install.
    Select Install all languages.
    Choose Edit language list.
    Edit the list of languages.

  • Adobe Reader X Constantly Freezing up

Ever since I started using version X, it constantly locks up at least 90% of the time while trying to open a .pdf.  Sometimes it takes 5 minutes for Adobe to quit, other times I have to reboot my computer just to get out of the frozen program.  HELP!  I'm running Windows XP SP02.

I installed Adobe Reader X on 75+ workstations at our Corporate office, upgrading from Reader 9.2
Windows XP SP2, none of the users are local/domain administrators.
I am also sufferring from this issue and it has caused a pretty huge problem here- the Adobe screen will start to open the PDF, the window goes white, and then even ending the AcroRdr32.exe processes directly will not close the software. I even have to hard shut-off the PC's as restart/log off will not work.
    Possible Fix:
I thought I had identified a fix having to do with accepting the license agreement-
    * log on as an administrator and open up a PDF
    * accept the Adobe Reader X license agreement, if there is one
    * log back on as the user and try to open some PDF's
This worked for me on some clients for 1 day- but I am receiving reports that those same clients are running into the freezing issues again.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE ADOBE. Considering moving to FoxIT.
I guess I am imaging the boxes again with an older Adobe version...
