Adobe Reader touch controls in windows 7

I am trying to get a windows 7 tablet to be a powerful sales tool. This will require the nice presentation of adobe PDF's. When using the tablet and adobe reader in Full Screen Mode I can not find a way to exit the full screen mode except to open the tablet up to make the ESC key available the pressing it. I am using Adobe Reader 9.3.2.
This is not really acceptable as we are trying to make this a touch only setup, this so far is the only need to use the keyboard. Any suggestions?

In full screen mode while the laptop is folded in tablet mode, there is no buttons available on the screen. If you are referring the the buttons on the laptop itself, they do not exit it from this full screen mode, just rotate screen, lock, and power.
Any other thoughts?

Installing Adobe Reader Touch without the Windows Store

We are trying to get this working in the corporate environment, obviously we don't want everyone to be logging into the windows store to download applications. I don't think Im the only one in this but the appstore is a pain if the appx files aren't readily available. I managed to get the appx file and install on a work machine, but now am getting the application can't open, check the windows store for more info....as you can imagine this is very frustrating, is anyone else having this issue?

Ok, not sure if I didn't read it correctly, but found a link on the adobe articles which points to an adobe enterprise link, downloaded this appx file and the corresponding dependency files and created an application in SCCM, rolled it out to my machines, all working perfectly.

I can't see the attachments of the file when I open it in adobe reader touch,windows 8

I have a file with attachments (images and videos) which I can see and open when i open the file in windows xp by clicking on paper clip icon on left but I can't see these files when i open the same file on a windows 8 computer in adobe reader touch. Reader Touch works in all Windows 8 systems BUT it is intended mainly for use in mobile tablets - I see no particular reason to use it unless you can'r run Reader XI. Given it is mainly for use on mobile that can't use Flash, we aren't likely to ever see the development team spending their time on this.
If you want the latest and greatest - at least try Reader XI, not X! (Flash is a separate download, it will prompt).

Does Adobe Reader Touch for Windows 8 support forms with auto calculation?

I'm using a preformatted form that contains auto calculations. When I use it on Adobe reader 11 on my laptop, it works. However, when I use the Adobe reader app for windows eight the auto calculations do not work. Is there anything I Can do?

Adobe Reader Touch (Windows Store app with "Modern" UI) does not support JavaScript yet. Thus, auto calculations or field formatting will not work.
If your operating system is Windows 8/8.1 (Pro), not Windows RT, you can install and run Adobe Reader XI (desktop app with classic UI).
If your operating system is Windows RT, you may want to try Microsoft Reader (the built-in PDF viewer by Microsoft) to see if auto calculations work.

Is Adobe Reader Touch (using windows 8) supposed to be able to edit pdfs, or just view them? Please help!

I cannot edit pdfs using Adobe Reader Touch. Going out of my mind. My Windows 8 laptop can barely save them, never mind edit them.
Or is Adobe Reader Touch only able to read them? Is it a cheaper version installed in the laptop to keep the laptop prices down?
If it can edit pdfs please tell me how!!

Adobe Reader Touch App is a PDF viewer app with editing functionality restricted to saving the PDF after commenting or PDF forms filling.
Commenting includes:
    > Adding Sticky Note
    > Highlighting text
    > Strikethrough text
    > Underline text
For more PDF editing and lot more value added features for PDF related workflows, you can try Acrobat desktop version. Try at this link for Acrobat Pro XI or Acrobat Standard

You can go to your Windows 8 desktop, find the PDF document in Microsoft File Explorer, and delete it. You do not need Adobe Reader Touch to delete files.

How do I get the "auto portrait/landscape" option to show during printing in Adobe Reader Touch

When I print using Adobe Reader Touch, the "auto portrait/landscape" options does not show up. As a result, all pages in a document are printed in the same orientation even if they are not all of the same orientation in the file itself. I don't believe this is a printer issue because if I use Adobe Reader X (v. 10.1.6) on the same computer/printer, the auto option does show up and the documents print as desired. I use Windows 8. As the video quality of Adobe Reader X is extremely blurry in Windows 8, I would like to be able to use Adobe Reader Touch exclusively. How do I get the latter to give me the "auto portrait/landscape" option during printing?

Thanks for the feedback. Our printing code in Adobe Reader Touch doesn't have that capability right now, but since you mention it we should probably do what you're requesting by default. I'll put that into our backlog for a future update, but I can't say yet when it will be available.
In the interim, if you have pages that are different orientations, you can print them in blocks manually to get what you want, but I understand that's a hassle.

There is no clear option when I highlight it and write click and the "Ctrl-delete" option is not working either. I need to get rid of both of these. Did them by mistake....simple task but so frustrated that I have spent 30+ minutes trying to figure this out. Please help.

Windows Store apps (including Adobe Reader Touch) do not offer the preview capability in the desktop environment. That's just how Microsoft has set up. So you need traditional desktop apps.
Because your operating system is Windows 8 (not Windows RT), you can find a lot of desktop apps that are compatible with Windows 7 and 8. (For Windows RT, only built-in Microsoft Office products are available for desktop apps. But that's not the case here.)
You can download Adobe Reader XI (which is also a free PDF viewer) from the following Adobe Reader download page
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
and install it on your Windows 8 desktop. (Note for Windows RT users: Adobe Reader XI is not compatible with Windows RT.)

Where do I get Adobe Reader Desktop version for Windows 8?

Since I went to Windows 8, every time I look at a PDF file it seems to use the Adobe Reader Touch app. That may be fine for a tablet, but I need and want the desktop functionality of the old Adobe reader on my notebook machine. What version of Adobe Reader do I need to download to get that and still have it run with no problems under the desktop on Windows 8?

The latest versions of Adobe Reader Touch are

For a Surface RT tablet running the Windows RT operating system, your choice of a PDF viewer is somewhat limited to Adobe Reader Touch or Microsoft Reader. Because Adobe Reader XI is not compatible with the Windows RT operating system.
