Adobe reader touch has no settings

The adobe reader app on my Lenovo ideapad s210 has no settings. I need to sync the app across my devices but there is no settings. What do i do?

What is it that you are trying to sync? As you point out, there are no settings 9actually, a few, but not many). So there isn't anything that you'd need to sync from the app's standpoint.
On the other hand, if you're talking about syncing the documents themselves, you'll want to make use of a file sync service such as Adobe's Creative Cloud file sync (which comes with an Adobe subscription), or any of the others. Reader Touch works just fine with Microsoft's OneDrive, for example.
I hope this helps, but if you describe your objective more clearly, I'm sure we can help with more specific suggestions.

  • How do I bookmark in Adobe reader touch?

How do I bookmark in adobe reader touch?  I have the surface pro.  When I swipe from the side I only have the search, share, start, devices and settings icons.

Adobe Reader Touch does not support adding new custom/personalized bookmarks to pages yet.
Currently, Adobe Reader Touch supports viewing pre-existing bookmarks that have been created by the author of a given PDF document. If a PDF document has bookmarks, Reader Touch shows the Bookmarks button on the right side of the top toolbar.
The users of Adobe Reader for iOS/Android have requested the capability of adding new custom/personalized bookmarks as well.  We are planning to add the capability to a future release of Adobe Reader Touch. But we cannot commit to a specific date for the release at this point.

  • Preview pdf files in the desktop with Adobe Reader Touch .. is it possible?

preview pdf files in the desktop with Adobe Reader Touch
    .. is it possible?

Windows Store apps (including Adobe Reader Touch) do not offer the preview capability in the desktop environment.  That's just how Microsoft has set up.  So you need traditional desktop apps.
Because your operating system is Windows 8 (not Windows RT), you can find a lot of desktop apps that are compatible with Windows 7 and 8.  (For Windows RT, only built-in Microsoft Office products are available for desktop apps.  But that's not the case here.)
You can download Adobe Reader XI (which is also a free PDF viewer) from the following Adobe Reader download page
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
and install it on your Windows 8 desktop.  (Note for Windows RT users: Adobe Reader XI is not compatible with Windows RT.)
In case you have any questions about Adobe Reader XI (desktop app), you can visit the Adobe Reader forum.

  • Adobe Reader Touch Enterprise deployment via sideloading

This posting in the Adobe Reader Touch http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1168369 from March 2013 is the same issue, has Adobe made any decisions to allow sideloading deployments yet?
I checked the licensing page https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=distribution_form&pv=rdr and there is no options yet for Windows Apps, and the download page at http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ also lacks an option for Windows Apps.  The Enterprise FTP ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/ download site also appears to lack a windows app option, so I assume I've exhausted all possibilites and there is currently no way to deploy via sideloading.

    Not supported yet.

  • Surface 2 - Need Adobe Reader NOT Adobe Reader Touch

I have a Surface 2 and need regular Adobe Reader in order to use a forms program.  When I try to download reader, I get a message that says I can't use the app and need to get the app from the Windows store.  However, the app in the Windows store is only the Adobe Reader "Touch" and this does not work with my forms program.
Has anyone experienced this problem or know the solution?
    Thanks

Actually I was pretty freaked out too but very fortunately, I have been
able to figure it out by going to the forms website directly as opposed to
accessing it through the realtor association hub.  I was thinking I might
have had to upgrade and was not looking forward to that experience.
Thank you again for your help!

  • Why can't I save a recently filled-in form (PDF) in Adobe Reader Touch app on Dell tablet?

I recently purchased a Dell Venue 11 Pro tablet and installed Adobe Reader Touch so that I could view, fill-in, save, and print PDFs.  I do have the newest version (2.0), but whenever I try to save/save as after filling in a form, it won't let me.  I can print the PDF....but cannot save it.  I am aware (or think) that this function is a newer feature for this app....but cannot understand why it is not working for me.  Can someone please explain why I am running into this issue?  Should I be able to perform this task with the 2.0 version....or are these functions not available yet?
    Thank you for any guidance!

What can we do to stop this from happening as we do not want to go back to Reader 9.5.
    Thanks,
    Matt

After a good bit more searching on the internet, I found the suggestion
regarding the Protected Mode.  I also discovered that I couldn't get to
the point of making that change without crashing Reader.  So, more
searching occurred with the result that I found a script that I could
execute to make the change in the Registry. That seems to have resolved
    the issue.
I have to ask, though, what gives with the download having the Protected
Mode set on if that tends to cause it to crash?

  • PDF Forms on Adobe Reader Touch - missing content

    Dear community
I created a set of PDF-forms for a survey which will be conducted using tablets (Win 8.1). First part of the form shows old data entries in text form fields, second part is for the actual filling of updated data. Adobe Reader (and any other application, no matter what system) don't have any problems showing the forms with all its content. Only in Adobe Reader Touch (and other "App"-versions of PDF readers) the form fields in which the old data is supposed to be, stay blank. Filling, however, works fine.
I really want to make use of the amenities of the Touch-version of the reader for the survey (simple, full screen, etc.), but for that I need the forms running of course. Any suggestions?
The forms were created with LibreOffice Base.

We are working constantly to enhance our Reader on this platform. Your feedback will help us prioritize this enhancement better. Thanks for taking the time to post to the forum.

  • How do I get the "auto portrait/landscape" option to show during printing in Adobe Reader Touch

When I print using Adobe Reader Touch, the "auto portrait/landscape" options does not show up.  As a result, all pages in a document are printed in the same orientation even if they are not all of the same orientation in the file itself.  I don't believe this is a printer issue because if I use Adobe Reader X (v. 10.1.6) on the same computer/printer, the auto option does show up and the documents print as desired.  I use Windows 8.  As the video quality of Adobe Reader X is extremely blurry in Windows 8, I would like to be able to use Adobe Reader Touch exclusively.  How do I get the latter to give me the "auto portrait/landscape" option during printing?
    Thank you,
    Pelle

    Hello Pelle,
Thanks for the feedback. Our printing code in Adobe Reader Touch doesn't have that capability right now, but since you mention it we should probably do what you're requesting by default. I'll put that into our backlog for a future update, but I can't say yet when it will be available.
In the interim, if you have pages that are different orientations, you can print them in blocks manually to get what you want, but I understand that's a hassle.
