Adobe Reader vs Adobe Acrobat CC6

Hi there,
I have installed Adobe Reader before buying an Adobe CC license. Now, everytime I open a PDF the file is opened with Reader. I tried to Open With, select Acrobat Professsional and checked Always open with. No change. The PDF file open wwith is OK but the next PDF is opened with Reader.
So, I have to questions:
a. To completely remove Reader from my MAC. Is that OK? Will Safari can read PDF after removing Reader?
b. To make, somehow Acrobat Professional to be my default PDF software. Any idea how to make this?

Open Acrobat and go to Preferences; in the General tab click 'Select Default PDF Handler'.

I have been trying to start my subscription again for my Acrobat XI Pro and for the annual subscription of the PDF Export for Word and Excel. The PDF Export expired according to my subscription list, but, I think that I had cancelled my Acrobat XI Pro of $ 29.99 monthly, so, I am wanting to presubscribe for it again, but, when I try to put my Code in for my Debit Card, it will not register with your company.
So, I do not know what to do to get it back again with my monthly and annually subscription payments for PDF Export and for Acrobat XI Pro. I have already downloaded the Adobe Reader XI onto my computer so I am set for that product. I just do not know what to do about the PDF Export and the Acrobat XI Pro to be able to get them started once again.

I have Adobe Reader X, Adobe Acrobat 9 and Adobe Distiller 9 all installed on my computer. Should I uninstall older versions? I am running on Windows XP Professional. Thanks,Kim

Distiller 9 is a part of Acrobat 9. Acrobat 9 and Reader X can co-exist on the same machine. Unless you're having a problem, there's nothing wrong with having them both installed together.

I'm trying to install a TEST VERSION (free for 30 days or something) of Acrobate XI Pro. I like to do this BEFORE I decide to buy. It is when I try to istall this test version that I get the message: "Download of this program is no longer available". I wonder why?
Is it because I've tried out Photoshop before I bought it? Maybe I'm only allowed to try 1 product for free?

I just solved this problem on my computer.
Windows 7 comes with only one "Voice" installed. "Microsoft Anna - English (United States)" I'm not sure what you get if your in another country.
You can test your "Voice/Voices" by running Microsoft Narrator. Click [Start] button and type "Narrator" in the [search programs and files] box. Press [Enter]. Your computer should begin talking. Click [Voice Settings] button to see a list of installed voices. Take note of the voices listed. "Mine has just the one."
Adobe Reader must have a voice selected that you have installed. To verify your settings Run Adobe Reader. From the top menu click [Edit] then click [Preferences] at the bottom of the list. In the Preferences window click [Reading] from the left hand list. Find "Read Out Loud Options" Un-check [Use default voice] Choose a voice from the drop down menu that you have verified is installed on your computer. Click [OK]
My Adobe Reader had 4 voices listed to choose from. I found this curious because I only have one voice.

NObody is orced to download Acrobat. Still, you did, you had your trial, and now it's finished. If you don't want to buy it, just uninstall it the normal way (but DONT) just delete it, ask if you don't know how to uninstall. Once it is gone, you might have to repair Adobe Readet. So, be angry but understand you had a choice of what to download. It would help you if you remember the full names of products, there is nothing called Adobe XI.

When you use Acrobat to convert emails it makes a special kind of PDF called a PDF package. This cannot be viewed on iOS and never will be able to be. I don't think Adobe really thought it through...

（端末：Windows7からWindows8にアップデートを行ったIE10のPC）
AdobeReaderXを使用していた際に、下記設定（①）を行い、PDFがブラウザに表示されないようにしていましたが、
AdobeReaderXIでは下記設定（②）を行えば、同設定を行うことができることをヘルプにて確認しましたので、
試みたところ、【すべてのアドオン】に「Adobe PDF Reader」が表示されませんでした。
　　＜設定①＞【編集】-【環境設定】-分類【インターネット】より、『PDFをブラウザーに表示』チェックボックスを外す
　　＜設定②＞IEの【ツール】-【アドオンの管理】-表示【すべてのアドオン】より、「Adobe PDF Reader」のアドオンを無効にする
表示プルダウンを【許可なしに実行】に変更すると「Adobe PDF Reader」が表示されましたのですが、
どのような場合、【すべてのアドオン】に表示されないのでしょうか。
《備考》
表示分類について調べてみたところ、
【すべてのアドオン】　…　コンピュータ上のすべてのアドオンの一覧
【許可なしに実行】　…　事前にmicrosoft、コンピュータの製造元、サービスプロバイダーが承認しているアドオン
と分類されるそうなのですが、違う端末で試してみましたところ、下記状態になる端末もございました。
１）Adobe Reader XがプレインストールされているWindows8端末（IE10）にて、
　　Adobe Reader XIをインストール
　　　　→　管理者ユーザでログインする場合、【すべてのアドオン】にのみ表示され、【許可なしに実行】に表示されない。
　　　　→　一般ユーザでログインする場合、【すべてのアドオン】に表示されず、【許可なしに実行】にのみ表示される。
２）Adobe Reader 8がプレインストールされているWindows7端末（IE9）にて、
　　Adobe Reader XIをインストール
　　　　→　管理者ユーザ、一般ユーザどちらの場合も、【すべてのアドオン】、【許可なしに実行】共に表示される。
情報に過不足がありましたら、誠に申し訳ありません。
大変恐縮ですが、少しでも気がかりな点、この事象をご存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら、

Assuming that you are on Windows, that's how it works: a program is installed, and assumes ownership of the file association for the files it handles.
There is an easy way to correct that after the installation: open Adobe Reader or Acrobat | Edit | Preferences | General: click on the Select Default PDF Handler button to select between Acrobat and Reader.

Accepting the EULA is not done during the installation, but when Adobe Reader is launched for the first time. That's what you need to do (not the browser plugin, but the actual Reader program).

Clash between   Adobe reader and   adobe photoshop elements

I have both   adobe reader   and adobe photoshop elements 6 installed on my computer.. Since upgrading to the current version of Reader, when I attempt to open a PDF file using reader the file goes straight to Adobe photoshop, were of course it doesn't open properly.   How do i fix this ?
