Adobe reader X Issue With no response yet from Adobe.

Since installing Adobe Reader X, I am unable to open pdf's attached to emails (in Outlook 2010). On double clicking the attachment, Adobe Reader opens and I get the following message "There was an error opening this document. Access denied."
If Adobe Reader is already running when I double click the attachment, it opens OK. If I save the attachment to my HDD, it also opens OK, when I double click it (whether or not Reader is running or not).
I would very much appreciate help with this problem.
My desktop is running Windows XP 32 bit with Outlook 2010 32bit. I'm a local admin on this pc.

Adobe Reader Display Issues with low color

We use Terminal Services, and they use lower color.
PDF's display fine in reader 7, but in reader 8 or 9 some PDF's will show blocks of black instead of text, that then flickers and changes color when scrolling through the document.
This only happens when viewing files in low color (as I said we use terminal services with windows 2000, so we must use low color)
Is there anything that can be done about this???

known bug on terminal server. You will need to stay with Acrobat 7. It is a resolution issue as Windows 2000 on a terminal server only supports 8 bit color.

Quality issue with importing edited audio from Adobe Audition CS6 to Articulate 09

I have edited an audio file using Adobe Audition CS6 and the playback sounds fine. I then import the edited file into Articulate'09 and the audio sounds horrible, very tinny and not useable. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I have tried saving the audio files as mp3 and wav to see if that would help and it did not make a difference.

I checked - it certainly supports both formats, but you'd have to be a lot more specific about what's wrong, because 'sounds horrible' doesn't convey anything meaningful at all, I'm afraid. And we have no idea of the format you are using - it's very possible that if it's being resampled on the way in by the operating system. If that's the case you have to find out specifically what formats (in terms of bit depth and sample rate) that this software actually supports.
Bottom line is that I'm afraid that this isn't very likely to be an Audition problem at all - you may get a more detailed and meaningful response from Articulate themselves.

I'm searching for an answer to almost the same exact problem, using almost the same exact hardware and software. Has an answer been found?
The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help.

Issue with calling Web Services from Adobe Interactive Forms

Hi,
I have created Web Services for remote enabled function module and imported it in the data connection in adobe form. In the adobe form created the button (Drag&Drop from Data Connection) as HTTP submit button. In the submit URL I have given the Web Services link. A program is downloading the pdf form in desktop with fillable as 'N'.
When I provide the input parameters and click on the button, its promts for SAP user id and password. After that it shows the error as "An error occurred during the submit process. Cannot process content of type text/xml".
Why this error is coming and how to correct?
How can we debug web services?

Issue with PO Response in SRM 7.0

Hi Experts,
We have upgraded our system from SRM 4.0 to 7.0. Post upgrade we are facing an issue with PO Response document.
Scenario:
When the PO is ordred, Vendor sends a the PO response through XML. Our middleware call the an FM which uses BBP_PD_POC_CREATE to create the PO response(BUS2209) with acceptance status.
Problem:
The status of the PO response is always + In Process+. But in SRM 4,0 we are having the responce with accepted status.
Could you please throw somw light on this.

Note 1393346 - PCO:Header status is open, even all items in PCO accepted
Although a relatively new note, this note is only relevant for SRM5.0 at the moment. What I'd suggest you do is to (temporarily) modify the standard code (in your development or test system) based on the correction instruction of this note. If it resolves your problem, create an OSS mesasge to SAP and ask them to upport the note to SRM7.0. Then you could reverse your modification back to standard and apply the note officially.

Reader causing issues with dropped underscores in courier new font

When converting a microsoft word document in 2013 or 2007 to a PDF is causing issues with dropped underscores. It only seems to happen in courier new. For instance if I have _someCode, when converting this over to a PDF file I will sometimes see _someCode and sometimes I will see someCode. If I open this file in a different pdf reader then it looks correct 100% of the time. If I copy and paste into another application then the underscore shows. This is a major issue for people putting code into a PDF document as underscores are important and courier new is what we often use.

I love how quick you are to throw Microsoft under the bus. Often it is their fault. In this case I believe you are 100% wrong and absolutely short sighted to ignore this. As I said in my original email, which you apparently missed, I have tried this in multiple PDF viewers and Adobe Reader is the ONLY reader that misses the underscores. Foxit, PDF Exchange and Sumatra all render it perfectly. Adobe reader missed 6 underscores in my document that has 18 underscores. 30% of the time in this document Adobe Reader makes the underscore invisible. And if I switch the zoom to 100% instead of 148% (which is the default for me for some reason) then Adobe Reader misses 7 of them. This doesnt occur in the other readers. Blame Microsoft all you want but the simple fact is that Adobe Reader has issues reading courier new's underscores. It needs to be fixed.

I have some problems with Adobe Reader version 10.1.
Once installed Adobe Reader, version 10.0, I found the problems listed below:
When I open Adobe Reader 10.1, and check the "Task Manager" (Ctrl + Alt + Del), the process appears Adobe Open twice, taking increasing a lot of memory space.
When attempting to view the following pages, Adobe Reader closes or crashes by itself, and can not continue.
I have already installed it in other computers but the problem remains.
What can be done to not happen anymore?

It sounds as if you downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro. If you did, uninstall it. Then repair Adobe Reader.
The free Acrobat account has no connection to any of this.

Adobe reader not associating with pdf files

i've installed adobe reader X after reinstalling windows, but reader is not associating with pdf files and also not showing in "open with.." list, even after browsing and try to associate it manually it's not visible in recommended program list and in other program list. to open pdf files i've to open adobe reader and then open files.

Please use the "Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool" from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html and remove any traces of Adobe Reader already on your system.
Post successfully removing the application, please re-install Adobe Reader from: http://get.adobe.com/reader

At the end of a Restore, you will be asked if you want the current iPhone to be synched as a New iPhone or use the current iPhone's settings. Selecting the former since to have solved the messaging problem. If u have done back-up of the "old" iPhone on iTunes, then your New iPhone will be the "old" iPhone too after synching with iTunes :)

Adobe reader installer freeze with out downloading Adobe Reader when opened?

I can not download Adobe Reader on my Mac: I can do it on my iMac, and have done it fore 10 years now, but Adobe reader download freeze before downloading the file

Is it the Download assistant that is freezing or is it the web browser that freezes?
