Adobe Reader XI users cannot see collaborative comments...

...from other reviewers when the review is initiated by a Adobe Acrobat Standard XI user.  They may only see collaborative comments when the review is intiated by a Acrobat Pro user.  This is very frustrating.  I bought the product with the promise that Reader users could see all of their fellow reviewers comments.  Even the documentation says this is the way the software works.  However, I see by the forunms that this is still a problem. 
Does anyone out the there know a work-around this issue?

Use the following workaround:
Generate the PDF for shared review (you probably already did this).
(Re-)Open it with Acrobat and do the following:
      a.   Menu:  View --> Tools --> Javascript.
      b.    Right Bar: Javascript --> Set Document Actions --> Edit All
      c.    Replace this:
(function () {if (app.viewerVersion >= 8 && !app.viewerType.match(/Reader/))
With this:
            (function () {if (app.viewerVersion >= 8 && (!app.viewerType.match(/Reader/) || requestPermission(permission.annot, permission.create) == permission.granted))
   3.   OK --> OK --> File --> Save.
