Hi,
Anybody Know how can i get the Adobe RTMP SDK or any other SDK which implement the RTMP protocol.

How to connect to Akamai using RTMP SDK (Adobe Media Server Connector for C++)?

We need to stream live video to Akamai using RTMP. But, we are trying to connect using ADOBE RTMP SDK (Adobe Media Server Connector for C++ 2.0.1), but have no idea regarding how to connect to Akamai using the SDK. How to make the SDK respond to the server challenges for password etc. If this can't be done using the RTMP SDK, we can use plain C++ for the purpose. But for that too, we don't have any idea regarding the steps involved to make it work. If anyone has any idea on how to connect to Akamai using the RTMP SDK or using plain C++ (a sample code will be very helpful), please help us out. If you can suggest any C/C++/.NET library too which will help us achieve it, we are ready to do so. Thanks in advance.

Adobe photoshop sdk download problem

Dear Experts,
Today I tried to download Adobe Photoshop SDK for window by creating an account on Adobe site. But once I login and try to download the relevant file ,it showed me page like "You are not autorised to view the page" or It won't redirect me to download page.I don't know whats the problem. Can't I download SDK free for personal use.

I’m running the sample encryption code and I’m running in to this exception:
"com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.cert.ServerCredentialException: Certificate does not have the required extended key usage". I tried looking it up on javadocs but it doesn’t really tell me what’s causing it. I get this error when encryptContent is called. Is this something in my settings/environment or something with the certificates?

If you are using the EncryptContent.java sample code, please check which credential you are using for the "packagerCredentialFile" variable. Make sure this is pointing at the .pfx file containing the packager credential.

Package com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.policy does not exist

We are trying to create policy. We have set the class path and referring adobe-flashaccess-sdk.jar, adobe-flashaccess-certs.jar and also we have copied jsafe.jar into class path directory.
I am getting error. package com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.policy does not exist error.
Is any other .jar file needs to be included.

Page 11 of the Protecting Content document lists all of the .jar files required to use the Flash Access SDK:

Please check to make sure you have all the above .jar files on your classpath. You also may want to check out the sample code and Ant built script located in the samples directory of the Reference Implementation Command Line Tools. The Ant script contains targets for both compiling and running the samples, including creating a policy.

No, I don't think you want to just copy the 4 jar files to your /lib/ext Java SDK directory. What you want to do is to run the Java3D install program to install Java 3D to the Java SDK or JRE you specify. The install will also copy some .DLL files since part of Java3D is implemented using native methods. Without the DLLs, I would guess that you can compile programs okay but will run into errors trying to run them. No clue why the install wouldn't work on XP, but maybe the install needs a JRE to run and you need to install Sun's JRE or SDK using their install program - Microsoft used to include their own Java SDK implementation in Windows, but then took it out for Windows XP to try and deprecate Java. The install EXE might be expecting a Windows registry setting that points to a JRE or SDK for it to use.

For Example: There is one pdf file. Let us say xxx.pdf with 32 pages. I am interested in only in a topic present at 10th page. Can I extract this information and save it into another pdf file (means new pdf file)?

I am actually interested in extract the page and create a new PDF with that page. But still there is a catch that on which basis the page needs to extract either on PAGE number OR on Bookmark basis.
But here in this scenario assume I am looking for the PDF file, now I want to save only page 5. How can I extract page 5 automatically/programmatuically? Or in simple word how can I get the reference link of page 5?
Here I am not getting clear picture that Do I need both SDK Adobe & Acrobat to achieve this requirement. And more over you have mentioned that SDK itself is free. But on Adobe side it is mentioned that it is available by license only with this I have another doubt: To work my desktop/system application with Adobe PDF library, this library needs to distribute with the application. So in this case will it be chargeable for each and every deployment.
Could you please provide me the link from where I can download the SDK? So that I can do some excerise with SDK to figure out the exact flow of functionality to work with my application.

Intellisense not working after update adobe air sdk on Flash CS6

I updated the Flash Professional CS6 Adobe AIR SDK to 15.0.0.249, but when i start a .FLA file that uses the new SDK, the Intellisense not work! So i need use AIR SDK 3.4 (native) to work with Intellisense... This is a real waste of time! Can i fix it?

How di I run Adobe Air SDK ADL in Linux?

Hi,
I downloaded Adobe Air sdk, and want to run adl... But it does nothing at all. No error message, no results, nada.....
How do I make it at least tell me what it is trying to do? (I renamed adl to adl_linux since there was an adl file already in the flex sdk,
apparently it is for the mac)
Here is what I get:
$ $flexsdk/bin/adl_linux
$ $flexsdk/bin/adl_linux AirTopo2-app.xml
$ $flexsdk/bin/adl_linux no-such-file.xml
$
Not very helpful....... Is there anything else I need that adl depends upon???

OK, I am getting further...
I can get started...
But I guess Adobe does not know how to build executables in linux without shared libraries. It is just a flag for goodness sake! It includes the code
in the binary. Yes, it makes the executable larger, but it does not require the user to load a bunch of stuff he does not need/want.
I now get:
$ ./adl
Error loading the runtime (libpangocairo-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
My quandary is this, I work for a large company, there are over 250 developers who each have their own machines and work on the same product. We have professionally managed linux boxes that exist half way across the country. We have our development environment in views that can be created.
To include this list of shared objects in our linux boxes is not feasible. We could possibly add to our development views, and I will try and modify LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to location in our views.
This is a lot of work Because Adobe does not (know about?) want to use the -static flag in "ld" to not use shared libraries (and Adobe does not use Java for adl....)
It would be really nice if Adobe had a version if the SDK that did not require this huge list of shared libraries that I would not even try and request get installed company wide (my Department's linux boxes and all other standardized development boxes)
Please, Please, Please use "ld -static" when you link executables for linux! (or make adl a java program)

Any News from Adobe Air SDK, on why we still can't REMOVE "android.permission.INTERNET" from a release compile?

Is there any new developments on the Adobe Air issue, of being able to COMPLETELY REMOVE the "android.permission.INTERNET" from the manifest file? As of today, you can still completely remove the "android.permission.INTERNET" from the manifest, bundle your app with Captive Runtime, and Adobe Air SDK will still "tack" the permission onto the end of the manifest block. With users and privacy concerns these days, surely Adobe would recognize that developers building apps that DO NOT REQUIRE Network Access, should be able to remove that permission. Any help on this?

I see Flash will now be able to export iPhone apps directly. Although Flash itself will still not run on the iPhone. It would be great if Director had that functionality a well. Even better if apps could run on both the iPhone and Blackberry!

After overlaying adobe air sdk in flash builder 4.6 i am getting this error in my flex mobile project "Could not resolve <s:ViewNavigatorApplication> to a component implementation.". I have followed the steps mentioned on adobe site. Can anyone please suggest me what i need to do in order to get this work.

You are probably missing the updated flash debug player that describes all the new methods to the application.
There is a good walkthrough of how to upgrade flash builder to a new library version, this is described in the first video of hsharma's starling tutorials.
Its very annoying though, i wish adobe would really build in a feature like this to update libraries.

Finally Figure it out..

Is what requests permissions from the phone to use the gps.

I had downloaded the Adobe Air SDK and I do not know how to use it, I had extract the zip file and I found a collection of 6 folders.

2. frameworks
3.libs
4. runtimes
5. samples
6.templates
I tried a basic tutorial(hello world){using html and xml} with basic IDE but I was not able to do it .. I am not familiar to this tool at all..
could someone help me ?

You can place those files anywhere you want. Then you open your favorite text editor and start writing AIR apps.
After you have written what is necessary for an app you compile and then package it.
You'll accomplish this much easier with Flex Builder, but here are some links to Adobe LiveDocs pages on creating AIR apps using the SDK:
