Adobe's site not showing Nvidia GTX 680 as officially supported

Planning a new system, and I KNOW that the Nvidia GTX 680 is indeed working with PP CS6 and earlier, but I just checked Adobe's site, and there
is not even a hint of the Nvidia GTX 680 being a supported card.

Any reason why ? Do they need elaborate testing on it, before they can "officially" add it to the list ?
I just want to make 100% certain the Nvidia 680 is indeed OK to purchase.

if you buy the PC version you wont have a boot screen if you use it to drive your monitors (may or may not be that big of a deal to you)
680 is supported on windows, i dont recall if its in the 11.02 update on mac but if not then you can add to the supported cards txt file.
not sure why its a 6 minute video as it should take you about a minute to add to yout txt file

I'm looking to buy my first Mac Pro and i'm very excited about it!
I haven't bought it yet because i'm waiting for Apple to upgrade their current graphics cards that are available in the current line up.
The ATI Radeon HD 5770 or the ATI Radeon HD 5870. Altough they are very good graphic cards, I feel that they are very outdated.
Would there be any chance of Apple upgrading their current line up to Nvidia GTX 680?

Check to see what is different between setups. You may want to reset prefences in the balky computer.

Adobe Connect does not show tool pointer/cursor when sharing Photoshop...

I am an online instructor and one of the courses I teach is a Photoshop course. Each week I host a Live Lecture session where we use Adobe Connect to demonstrate techniques and tools in Photoshop CS6.
I am receiving several complaints from students because Adobe Connect does not correctly show my cursor/pointer when it changes for each tool in Photoshop. All the students see is an arrow with a small icon of a face/monitor.
This is confusing to the students, because I am trying to demonstrate how to use a tool and they are unable to see the actual tool. For example, when I select the brush tool - they should be able to see the brush circle as the cursor. I then demonstrate how to resize the brush - but they cannot see it. Another example is any of the healing/cloning tools. If I select the healing brush tool, they cannot see the circle (brush). I then demonstrate how to record a healing point by selecting the Option (alt) key - but again the students cannot see the pointer change to the crosshairs to record the healing point - as all they see is the arrow with icon at all times.
Students are complaining that they are not able to comprehend what I am demonstrating because they are not able to get the full affect of the demonstration without seeing it how it should be. Prior to switching to Adobe Connect, we used WebEx - which showed the students everything correctly as I was demonstrating it. I was amazed to learn that Adobe Connect does not show everything - especially since I am using another Adobe program within Adobe Connect - you would think they would be fully compatible and able to show everything.

I just saw this option for the first time last week. Very exciting to see it finally in Connect! There is a small amount of lag for the viewers, but nothing that can't be compensated for.

Adobe PDF Toolbar Not Showing In Firefox

I installed CS5 Master Collection in Windows 7 64 and Adobe PDF toolbar installed automatically in IE8 but not in Firefox latest version. Would somebody please tell me what to do to install in Firefox?

Also Acrobat X has different UI, there is usually a floating toolbar that can be used to open the full toolbar.

Regarding printing PDF documents...It depends on the PDF document that you are trying to print. In general, it will take longer to print more complex and larger PDF documents.

Actual printing is handled by iOS (not by Adobe Reader) via AirPrint over Wi-Fi connection. We've heard from other users about iOS 8 Wi-Fi connectivity problems.

Adobe CS 5.5 Nvidia GTX 680 Support with Mercury Playback Engine

Ok, so I was all set to buy a new EVGA GTX 580, and now for the same price I can buy the brand new GTX 680.
Is there anyone here that has tried the GTX 680 to see if PP MBE will support the GTX 680? Of course the Adobe website doesnt mention that they explicitly support the GTX 680 but I'm wondering if it works anyway.
And if it isn;t supported now, I hope its safe to assume its coming with CS6. Anyone have any ideas?

So as i understand this means the card is "unsupported" but that doesnt concern me. To me that basically says Adobe hasnt "certified " the comatibility. So i guess my real question is I'm using rhis in a professional environment , and I'm always most concerned about stability
If the simple hack makes it work thats fine, I guess Im really looking for somone that has made sure the Gtx 680 works without creating problems with Premiere stability

I see what your saying. I guess with my setup having an aftermarket power supply will not apply to your question.
My HP came with a power supply built by "Delta" which is very highend if you have a 600 watt Delta in your computer I bet it can handle the card.
Nvidia always over shoots the power reccomendation for it's cards because they know the average computer user will by a cheapo power supply that is overrated (may say even 1000 watts but realy gives 500) so they give a reccomendation that will have everyone safe and if HP used one of the topend company's (like Delta) to build your power supply you will probably be OK. Is yours built by Delta also?
btw I have seen plenty of user's using 450-650 watt power supplies powering a GTX 680 I even ran two GTX 580 SLI off my HX650 for a couple of month's (I don't reccomend everyone try/do this) just making a point that most people reccomend far more power than is neccasary...a quality psu goes a long way (like Corsair,seasonic,Delta...etc)

I am very excited about the 680 too, then last night I read about Nvidia's "leak" about their new card coming in August, which is not far away. I wonder why they do this. So people get excited,
go out and buy a 680 with their hard earned money, to be slapped in the face with a new card only months later. I just don't get it.
New card uses a new chip ( GK110 ) instead of the GK104 in the 680. I thought 1536 CUDA cores was amazing, and I still do, but this card coming in August has a whopping 2304, and the
memory will be doubled going from 256-bit DDR to 512-bit DDR.

By the way, that's just 2 websites out of dozens and dozens who have posted this info. Simply Google "GK110" and you'll get a huge list of websites with the info for this new "GTX 685" or whatever
they may call it.

NVIDIA Kepler GK110 Approximate Specs Leaked
The launch of NVIDIA's new range of Kepler-based graphics is almost on top of us, yet details are starting to emerge about the GK104 GPU's big brother, the GK110.
It looks like NVIDIA decided to release the lower performance GK104 GPU as their upcoming top card, the GTX 680, since performance was above what they expected. This GPU would most likely have gone into a GTX 670 otherwise. It also could be due to the very large die size of the GK110 top dog chip, which is surprisingly due for launch as far away as August. The naming for this card has not been revealed, but speculation pegs it as the GTX 685, with the GTX 690 name reserved for the dual GK104 card. Leaked specifications table is below, comparing the GK110 to the GK104 and AMD's HD 7970. Note the brawny 512-bit memory bus.
Going back to GK110, a card built in 28nm process, which will likely have 2304 CUDA cores, may have completely reorganized GPU structure. Streaming multiprocessors may rise to 10 (in comparison to GTX 680). NVIDIA could use 512-bit memory interface on this one. It is rumored that GK110 will consume around 250 Watts. Card should be prepared for August 2012. Naming is not yet revealed, but since GTX 680 is already taken, this card may be called GTX 685 (leaving GTX 690 brand for dual-gk104). It is also possible that NVIDIA will decide to release new GK110 gpu as a card from GeForce 700 series, but this would be a marketing failure as owners of GTX 680 would feel confused – having a graphics card which is a generation old after 5 months.

Adobe 2014.1 Not Showing in Adobe Creative Cloud App

Hi Folks,
I previously opened a similar discussion. Re: 2014.1 App Updates Not Showing Up in Creative Cloud. The solution in the aforementioned discussion does not work in this new context.
1. Reimage laptop with clean Mavericks 10.9 install, with Adobe CC preinstalled using CCP 1.4 and pre serialized.
2. Enter my Adobe ID into Adobe Creative Cloud App. My Adobe ID has a valid CC subscription.
3. Adobe 2014.1 app updates do not show up, except for Muse 2014.
4. The Adobe Creative Cloud App did not think that Photoshop or any of the other Adobe CC Apps were installed, because I was given the option to "Install Photoshop"
5. So, I "installed" Photoshop from the Adobe CC app. Still no updates
6. Uninstall, reinstall. No updates.
7. Checked for the existence of AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat in
Location: <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat
This file does not exist on my system: it's just not there. So that fix will not work.
8. And yes, I logged in and out of Creative Cloud, and Quit the Adobe CC app and restarted. No luck.

What version of PS do you actually have installed?
PS CC 2014.2.1 is the current version.

I have created a blog site but blog pages are not showing my current navigation, it has got its own left navigation, Can i show left (current) navigation? I am trying to find the page layout being used for blog items but unable to find.

By design, there is a left navigation in the blog site. Like the following image show.
Please check whether there is CSS style in site to hide the left navigation.
If you don’t want to use the default navigation, we can also customize a new one.
We can use SharePoint designer 2013 to modify it(In /_catalogs/masterpage/seattle.master ).
