"Adobe Send cannot currently send this file." Why not?

I would like to send a group of 4 interrelated PDF files to an email address. I subscribed to Adobe Send. When I tried to send my files I got the message, "Adobe Send cannot currently send this file." Will I be able to use this service or should I simply cancel my subscription?

My first attempt had been from the Send box on the Adobe Reader screen. That had failed. Once I got properly registered into Adobe Send I was able to send the same group of files with no problem although I noticed that the embedded hyperlinks used to connect the files didn't work for the Send recipient. Hyperlinks are not a deal breaker as long as I can send the files as a group.

I think you'll find that the official Adobe advice here is misguided. First, deleting bits of the program and program data is, as you've noted, perilous and often impossible. Shame on Adobe for doing such a poor job of coding that such steps are needed.
The solution I recommend is as follows:
Restart your Windows machine and boot in "Safe Mode" with networking using the F8 key just as Windows starts.
Go to the Control Panel and select Programs. Find and Uninstall "Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop".
Reinstall it by downloading it from the website https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Restart your machine.
Only in "Safe Mode" are you likely to be able to accomplish these tasks reliably.

Cannot open this file is not movie file

Having a problem opening files in e mails. Get a response that says this movie cannot be opened this file is not a movie file they are whv files that i am having problems with don't know what a whv file is.

Are you sure the file is "whv" and not "wmv"? "whv" is a file extension associated with VS Ver 1.0 Session Data, a Windows application.

Please let me know what kind of file are you trying to send using 'Adobe Send' online service.
Does this happen with every file you try to send or any specific one?
Have you tried using a different browser? What happens? Check with your internet connection speed as well.

As you speak to "sending" a file you'd be using one of Adobe's online subscription services.

Not to sure what type AVI files they are, the storage devise is at present offshore on a job.
Can you clarify, if you edit/import video footage with adobe premiere 10 and then create a file, the file or the original raw footage is not stored on computer for re-use, if it is stored, is it stored in the original format.

"The version of this file is not compatible with..." Cannot install games.

I'm at my wits end here. I've installed Bootcamp and a copy of Windows 7 (64) and am currently attempting to install Assassin's Creed II and keep receiving the error: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Window's you're running..."
This happens with quite a few of the games I own...I've tried copying the contents of the disks to the hard drive and running with privileged access...tried opening the setup files from CMD with elevated permissions...nothing.
Any help?

I have the exact same problem as well. I've been having this since I tried installing the 3.0 drivers for Bootcamp drivers. The 2.2 drivers worked perfect, and I wasn't getting this error. I'm pretty sure It's something in the drivers as well, but nailing it would be very hard. It also doesn't appear to happen to everyone with similar spec'd Macs either. It's weird. Any solution to this would be really helpful. Thanks.

I will try to give as much information as possible. Dont scream at me if i forget anything. For starters, I just learned how to use Adobe Encore CS4. I taught my self between reading the help files and videos I found on the web. I am an amateur when it comes to DVD authoring (could have alot to do with my problem). Im an animator and I am making a DVD to show my demo reel, drawings, and i have a storyboard to final comparison video. I designed all of my menus in photoshop. I have one transition that was animated in after effects that was imported using dynamic link. My demo reel is a mov file at 640x360 widescreen, half the size of HD 720p. The comparison video is a premiere file from dynamic link (same size as the demo reel). There is some background music for the menus. Then I have 3 slideshows, and i believe this is where the error is coming from. Most of the artwork has the same dimensions but there are some that are larger or smaller. Some are jpg, but most are PSD files. The slide show is set to manual advance with music in the background. I have no transition effects on the slideshow. When building the DVD, i believe when it says "starting project" after all the importing was done,i get the error

I just tried to build the DVD without the slideshow and I still get the error. Possibly a menu issue? I have no idea. Ive ran into errors before but I was able to get through the others. I just cant seem to find a solution to this error. Even after searching the forums for similar problems. Hopefully, the solution is simple. If more info is needed let me know. When doing SlideShows, whether in Encore (somewhat limited), or in PrPro, it is always better to re-size outside of these programs, prior to Import. I use Photoshop (PS) to do this, and use an Action to get everything in the proper Mode, Color Space, Size - everything. I always do a Save_As and use .PSD files. I also Save a working version, incase I have Flattened, etc., for Import into the NLE/authoring app.
JPEG's *should* work fine too, though there is the JPEG compression to deal with. Might not be an issue, but for max quality, I start with RAW images, process to .PSD's, and then work from copies of these, to get my still Assets ready for PrPro, or En.
I either size exactly to my Project Preset, or to exactly what I need, if say I will pan across a zoomed out image. In a major Project, I may have sub-folders with 4 different sizes of image - based precisely on what I will need to do with that/those image(s). If I will not need to do any animation on any images, then I use that Project Preset (including the correct PAR) and they work perfectly. This also eliminates any unnecessary overhead on the system.

While I have used Premier Pro for some time, I am only an occasional creator of DVD. Today I have had the error message above, but am unsure where to start to sort it out.
I have loaded up an HVD original (1440*1080) into PP and then, after some editing used Dynamic Link to 'Send to Encore'. This worked fine and I can see edits in PP cause the Encore footage to be updated
However, when I try to build the project, for output to a DVD folder, I get a message stating:
PGC "File name.prproj" has an error at time X
The Aspect Ratio of this file is not supported by DVD-PGC Info: name = filename, ref=Bpgc, time = X
I'm pretty sure I've done something simple and/or stupid, but can anyone point me in the right direction?
I tried to search the forums for aspect ratio, but with no luck

Do you mean HDV via Firewire from a camera?
That format will not work on a DVD, which is 720x480 (US, foreign is slightly different)
Someplace along the line, you need to downsize to be legal for a DVD

Error Message: "A virus was detected in FILENAME. This file will not be uploaded"

I have been synching files using Creative Cloud Connect for many months. During the past few weeks, I get the message "Some files failed to sync". When I click on "Learn more", it has 3 files there and all have the message "A virus was detected in filename . This file will not be uploaded". I scanned all three files with AVG and Malwarebytes (installed on my system) and both report that there is no virus in those files. I have tried to chat with support but I could not find any resolution with them. I believe that I never got to the right place. I was connected with 5 different people. At the end of the last discussion I spoke to Adobe Captivate support. It so happens that the files with that error are all Adobe Captivate files. But that support also concluded that they couldn't help. I could not find similar entries in the forums either. Did anyone else have this problem?

No unfortunately, I have not. I spent over an hour on the phone with them already regarding this topic. In the end, the support in Adobe Captivate (that's the 5th support group they connected me to) told me that I wasn't allowed to upload Captivate files since Adobe Captivate 8 is not a CC application and that's why the problem was happening. I am absolutely sure that this is untrue since I have many Captivate files on CC. I think the key will be to get to the right support group. Good luck! I really hope you find a solution.
