Adobe Sign In doesn't work.

Trying to sign in doesn't work, I enter the correct ID and password yet the sign in doesnt stop to say any errors or successfully log in. It just keeps going. I'm trying to use the trial version of Adobe After Effects CS6.

Are you using a software firewall or any other security software which might be interferring with the Adobe Application Manager/PDapp.exe from accessing the Internet?  Is this happening during the install process?

What does the Adobe test page say?
    http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

  • The latest version of Adobe Flash Player doesn't work on my Mac

The latest version of Adobe Flash Player doesn't work on my Mac?
    What is the solution?

Download and install a version compatible to whatever cat flavor you have on the computer.

Maybe Flash 11 is too big and you need to stay on Flash 10.3

  • Ever since upgrading to Mavericks, Adobe Flash Player doesn't work.

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mavericks recently and since then, sites do not recognize that I have Adobe Flash Player installed at all. I currently have the most updated version: "Plug-in version 11.9.900.170 is installed." I noticed this when family and friends sent me e-cards. I go to the sites to view them and it tells me I need to download Adobe Flash Player.
I have uninstalled it twice and downloaded it twice. Installation is always successful and complete but when I test it to view an e-card sent to me from a reliable site, it still states that I need to install it to view the card. I HAVE IT!! lol  I don't understand why the sites are not recognizing it on my computer.
I've tested it out on both Safari and Firefox and it doesn't work on either. Safari is 7.0.1 (current).
Can anyone help me fix this? Troubleshooting on Adobe Flash Player basically tells me to uninstall and re-install. Still doesn't help. ~sigh~
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 5.
    Step 1
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, sign in to your YouTube account and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
    Step 2
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then from the menu bar select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
    Step 3
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
    Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open. Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
    Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    Step 4
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
    Step 5
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
    Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
    Then click the button marked
    Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
    Step 6
    Select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
    Step 7
In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    Close the window. Then select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.

  • Adobe Community Help Doesn't Work

For some reason, the help pages don't work, either in Photoshop CS5 Extended (12.0.4) or in Bridge (4.0.5.11).  When I go to Help>Photoshop help (or Bridge help), I get the Adobe Community Help Page, but nothing on the right side of the page works.  I can try to click on any link and nothing happens.  (I am signed in, but that didn't matter.)  I can only eanter a search request on the left and get search responses.
I was prompted earlier in the day to update Adobe Help with a thing called "airappinstaller".  Adobe Community Help "about" page says I have version 3.5.0.23 and that my help is "up to date."  I tried restarting  but it still doesn't work.  What's up?

After installing the Adobe Air update I can reproduce the problem with Photoshop CS5 standard 12.0.4 on Windows 7 x64, Steve.
The cursor changes to a finger when I hover over the links in the right pane, but nothing in particular happens when they're left-clicked.
I can right-click a link and choose open in new tab.  That does in fact open the selected page in a new tab.
I can click the link in the upper-right and the page opens in Internet Explorer 9, at which point all the links work, no problem.
I can see the Air installation was successful in the Windows Application log, but no error or other message is logged when I attempt unsuccessfully to use it.
I'm going to try logging off and on again.  Edit:  Nope, that didn't help anything.
No modifier keys get a left-click to do anything.
    The Back button works.
I get a pop-up menu when I click on Welcome, Noel Carboni, but clicking on any of the entries does nothing.
I can click in the Black Search field at the upper right, and it puts a cursor there.  I can type and when I hit enter the search causes the page to change.
When I hit the Home button all the little Ps etc. icons appear, and if I click on one it takes me to the page.
It seems like only the left-click function for navigating on text links is broken.
Anything else you'd like me to check?
    -Noel

I have installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro. But when I try to convert a document to a PDF file using PDF printer a progress bar appears. But then nothing happens.

    Hi Anubha,
This problem happens with every kind of file types (Eg. .doc, .txt, .jpg).
This printer worked very well earlier. I got this problem suddenly. Not sure what is the reason. Tried re-installing Adobe, but doesn't work.
I used 'File> Print> Printer> Adobe PDF' option to create pdf files. (Eg. In MS Word, Notepad, and etc.)
    Thank you for your reply.

  • The Given Adobe serial key DOESN'T WORK! WHAT?

I JUST bought Lightroom 5 student teacher edition, punched in the serial number they gave me, and it doesn't work. What is the problem here? Why doesn't it work?

Did you obtain the serial number by submitting the code that came with the Lightroom program? Did you receive a serial number from Adobe? Are the first four numbers 1160? DON'T post the full serial number.

  • Adobe Reader updater doesn't work properly in Windows 7

For the longest time, I've been receiving update notifications from Adobe Reader, prompting me to upgrade. I always say ok, download the update. Then it always takes like 1 second to download (hard to believe it's that fast), then I get the install window. I press the "Install" button and the window disappears and I don't receive any additional messages... Until I reboot my computer and I get again the same update download prompt window.
So it seems the update doesn't work and that's why I get that message EVERYTIME I reboot the PC. Not matter if I reboot every 5 minutes, I always get that message.
Please, fix your updater so it doesn't annoy the user like this with non working updates!
Since the updater doesn't work, is there a way to disable it? Thank you!

Ok, I've added the registry setting you mentioned, then I've started "AdobeARMHelper.exe" again to get the tray notification about the available update. Then I've clicked it, I got the download window, I clicked "Download", then 1 second later I got another tray notification about the update being ready to install (maybe it takes so little time because the update is already in my computer and so it doesn't download anything). Then I clicked the tray notification and got the install window. I clicked Install, and nothing else happened, as always.
Then, I've checked the "AdobeARM.log" file, and now it shows the following:

It seems there are some errors in Spanish, probably because they come from Windows, which is configured in Spanish in my PC. "El sistema no puede encontrar el archivo especificado" means "The system cannot find the file specified".

"...the installer had a mistake which meant the preview handler did not work on 64-bit systems.
It turned out the problem could be fixed via a simple registry change. The change is described below and a small program which performs the fix is also provided for your convenience.
Unlike the thumbnail fix, described below, the preview handler fix should no longer be needed by most people, since Adobe have finally fixed their installer, but it's still provided in case it helps repair things. If you had Adobe Reader installed under Vista and later upgraded to Windows 7 then you will probably still need to run the preview handler fix once to clean up a registry value which Adobe set inconsistently between the two OS versions. If in doubt, run the fix and it will tell you if anything needs to be done. If everything is good already then the preview handler fix won't change anything."
Hope that helps. I have the same problem.

  • Adobe Online Store Doesn't Work

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, but I didn't know where else to put it.  Several days ago I tried to purchase Premiere Pro and the store won't let me.  Each time I add it to my cart then go to check out, it replaces PPro with an Adobe product I already purchased several months ago.  I tried adding other Adobe products instead and it does the same thing.  I can't delete the already purchased product with anything else.
I reported it in a chat with two Adobe representatives from customer service and sales.  The latter was clueless and kept trying to sell me another product when I was trying to purchase an upgrade then asked me what I was going to use the program for.
Does anyone know if the store is going to be fixed soon?  I can't find a link anywhere on this website to report it other than to the worthless chat room or call.  I understand calls have a holding time of about 30 or more minutes.  I haven't seen any complaints about this in the forums so I'm assuming nobody is purchasing anything lately.

I cleared the browsing history along with everything else in IE9 and it still doesn't work.  I haven't tried using a different browser like Firefox because I've had problems with that browser before.  I will try it, but I doubt it will make a difference.  One of the chat reps told me the store was down so I'm assuming it isn't on my end.  I'm just wondering how long will it be down if it is down.  I didn't get any help from the two chat reps I corresponded with.  They were clods.
I did a complete system restore and that didn't help either.  I think the problem is with the store and not my computer.  Why would a program I ordered months ago keep turning up in my cart then I have to keep logging in to go to checkout.  I can never get to checkout because the little circle keeps spinning as if it's trying to do something.  I can't get past that point and have to close the browser.
I'll try Firefox again and see if it works.

  • Adobe Flash 'downloaded', doesn't work.

Have LITERALLY tried and 'successfully' downloaded adobe flash more than 20 times now.
It says it's worked, but then when it comes to using it, it doesn't work.
    Need this for uni studies.
Can't ring Adobe as can't find contact details.
It says it's worked, but then obviously hasn't.
If this is necessary deets, I have Windows 7.
It worked FINE yesterday morning... or it might have been Monday... but then that same afternoon, it's gone all effed up on me!

You downloaded it, but did you also install it?
What is your web browser?  If Internet Explorer, check

  • PBS Sign-in doesn't work

Trying to sign in to the PBS website. I get a box which allows me to sign in with Facebook, Google+, or PBS by clicking on the logo of the service that I want to use.
Unfortunately, I can click on any of them all day and nothing happens.
Clicking on them works fine in Chrome.
I've checked that domain storage is 'true'.
I've made 'always accept' exceptions for cookies from the site.
    Still doesn't work.
    Ideas??
