Adobe software, questions about upgrades and why creative suite 6 isn't mentioned in my login?

1st question is why i can't find my creative suite 6 in my account specifics?
2nd question how can i upgrade my software, is it only possible by going over to cloud? or is it still possible the old fashion way like i'm used to upgrade by downloading?

1st: If you are not able to find your CS6 in your Adobe account, it means you might have not registered it. In case you want to find your serial number, check this. Find your serial number quickly

I've got a question about the upgrade sequence and costs thereof
I have CS5.5 Production Premium. Suppose I upgrade to CS6 production Premium. If, when CS6.5 comes out and I decided to upgrade, would it be considered an upgrade from 5.5 or 6 for pricing purposes?
I presume the older the software the more expensive the upgrade but if I'm upgrading from my CS6 upgrade would it be considered an upgrade from CS5.5 9the original suite) or an upgrade from CS6?

If I accept and pay him for this do I be eligble to use this software in company ? He is offering me full version of the product. How Can I check it ?
There is no reason to do that. You can buy a legitimate copy of the product from Adobe.

I have a Macbook Pro june 2011... I have 8GB ram but I only have 256mb VRAM...

DylanThe only two items that a user can change on a MBP are the RAM and HDD (Retinas not included). You have what the unit came with and the only way you will be able to change that is to purchase a MBP with superior graphics
If you are very much into gaming, the I suggest A PC. They are far superior for that type of application to a MBP.

Yes there is (detailed) upgrade documentation provided with the upgrade itself, which you should definitely look through. The 2.2 and 2.2.1 releases are currently available here -

1. there is no sticker on the back of the computer that gives information about the serial number of my windows 8...
2. lets say in some magical way I could get the serial number out, can I use it to reinstall ? because Ive heard that you cannot use this CD key anyways unless you got a special win8 installation CD key from MSI because its MSI branded windows 8.

I think serial key of windows is in your bios which you cannot See however it should be automatically activates windows -

You said that you are using the T.codes VK31 or VK32.
These transaction codes are used to enter condition records for standard condition types. As you can see a grid left side having all the standard condition types like price, discounts, taxes, frieghts.
Pl check using T.code VK11 OR VK12 (change mode)
Here you can enter the required condition type, in the intial screen. (like PR00, MWST, K004, K005 .....etc)
After giving the condition type, press enter or click on Combinations icon on top of the screen. Then you can see all the condition tables which you maintained for that condition type. Like as you said table 118, table 5, table 6 and table 4.
You can select any table and press enter, then you can go into the screen in which you have all the field cataglogues you maintained for that table. For example you selected combination of Customer/Material (table 5) then after you press enter then you can see customer field on top, and material fields.
You can give all the required values and save the conditon record.

Question about upgrading iTunes multiple computers with shared library

I have a question about upgrading to the current version of iTunes.
Currently, my household uses 3 Mac computers (2 Powerbook 17in laptops and a Mack Mini). We are all (currently) on system 10.4.11 (with iTunes 9.2.1). Between the 3 computers we have a shared iTunes music and video library on a networked high capacity hard drive.
We recently purchased an iPad. In order to make it easy for updates and to use media from our iTunes shared library I decided that we should upgrade the systems on our home computers to Snow Leopard. I have ensured that all the computers have at lease 2 Gb of RAM and adequate hard drive space.
The only possible problem I see is that one of the Powerbook laptops uses the old Motorola processor. (This is one of the last Powerbooks to use that processor.) I don’t think this computer can be upgraded to Snow Leopard.
My question is, if I upgrade 2 of the computers (and iTunes in the process), will I still be able to access the shared iTunes library using the older computer with the older system and iTunes? Will the upgrade process change the iTunes library in such a way that the one older computer will no longer be able to properly access that library?
Are there any other problems I might encounter having a mixed system/iTunes environment?

both Macs can access the same library file, however, only one at a time !
to do that, you would ideally have the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) on the external. then, on one Mac after the other, launch iTunes while holding the option key, click on +choose library+ when prompted, and select the iTunes folder on the external.
or, you could have two separate libraries and keep those in sync using third party tools such as Syncopation, TuneRanger or SuperSync.
for purchases from the iTunes store, you could set up _*Home Sharing*_ - it can be configured to automatically transfer new purchases to home shared libraries.
Can I create a script to have MBP1 always save the iTunes Library file on the shared hard drive?

1- .netrc file is in $HOME directory but i can't access to this directory from java code. The following line producesan Exception (directory doesn't exists)

2- .netrc file must have the following permissions: -rw- --- --- but when i create the .netrc file the following permissions are on default: -rw- r-- r--, how can i change this permissions? (In java code, i can't use chmod.....)
3- Are there any way to pass parameters to a .netrc file? If i get to do this i needn't change the permissions because i can't modify or create/destroy this file.

- use .netrc with parameters but i haven't found any help about it

Adobe software is getting more and more buggier
So, this is getting very frustating...
I have noticed that Adobe software is featuring more and more bugs in the latest versions. (CC)
Bug in After Effects is the following: there is this new feature that automatic reloads footage. So if you rendering a 3d sequence, AE reloads the seq.
A very weard thing is that if you load a sequence starting from 'filename.750.jpg' to 'filename.1400.jpg' AE CANNOT find the footage on a new startup of the project.
If you render the movie, you get those coloured bars. One can notice the bug when the footage in the project window is displaying blablag[0750]. Notice that this filename has a leading zero. The only solution to be absolutly sure that the sequence is fully loaded is to reimport that sequence. (do not replace, really import a new sequence) (which is a pain if you a few)
Then the filename will display no leading zeros.
(not sure if one can disable this autoload, but even if I can, I dont want to disable that, I want that feature to work)
Another bug: it is impossible to use the effect Timecode, AE will crash.
btw, photoshop CC also features some bugs. Smart layers are broken, photoshop will crash. Airbrush is crashing. And all this is on very powerfull machine.
Has anybody noticed the same thing????

I never had any issues importing a sequence. Also, I noticed that I really need to pick the first frame of a sequence. In this case, blablag.750.jpg. That was never been an issue. In the previous versions, you could always pick a random frame and AE just automatic fixes the start and end frame of the sequence. Now you have to be really carefull. Also, this doesn't explain, why AE just shows up the sequence perfectly fine, but on a restart of AE of a background render, things goes wrong.

We are thinking about build RAC using ASM for OEM database. It'll have two nodes, oracle 10g and Hitachi san with solaris ( or linux ). I've few questions about RAC and ASM.
1) Do I need to have ASM instance running on each node ? ( most likely yes... but want to make sure )
2) can I share oracle_home between ASM instance and database instance ? what is the best choice ?
3) I'm planning to use shared disks for all files, all databases.... what are the pros/cons ?
4) what should be the installation procedure ? Meaning, first create ASM instance on each node, then install cluster software, build RAC databases...... can someone explain..
5) I believe RMAN is the only option for backup since I'm using ASM, correct ?
