Where to download Adobe Standard X for system reinstall. I have serial key card. Thank you.

if you got that from dell, they have a download page you can use.  otherwise, i don't believe adobe x standard is currently available.

    My computer was recently changed. I am trying to reinstall Adobe Standard 7.0. It will not let me activate the software. I have tried everything the Adobe site has suggested.

    There are multiple issues you may be having. First, AA 7 is not compatible with Win 7 and later. You may be able to get it to work with some workarounds, at least for a 32-bit system. For a 64-bit system, you will probably have to upgrade (at this point, it will be a new purchase, AA 7 can not be upgraded to AA XI).
    In addition, AA 7 can no longer be activated by the server. Adobe has posted a new link to download AA7 that can be installed and used by folks like you. You will have to search for the link in the forum, I do not have it at hand.

  • LookTable in Adobe Standard profiles - what is it meant to provide ?

    The Adobe Standard profiles always include a so-called LookTable
    (see dcpTool), and my question refers to the rationale behind this LookTable, and what it is meant to do / to provide (?).
    The question goes back to the procedure of creating custom profiles with the Chart Wizard of the DNG Profile Editor,
    where this LookTable gets automatically deleted while the hue/sat.-corrections are written into the HueSatDelta tables.
    What is gained or lost, or what is difference when this LookTable is removed ? What precisely are the ideas behind the color shifts as stored in the LookTable ?

    There should be no need to deactivate, but you may wish to do it the three step way:
    Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

    Using Adobe Standard 8.1.4 on Windows Vista.  Every time I open a pdf file and try to edit the Headers, I get a message to say that 'Adobe Acrobat 8.1 has stopped working' and I am forced to stop the program.  Looking at the details, I see the information:

    I have followed advice on the website and uninstalled and reinstalled the product completely, but it makes no difference.  The same version running on a Windows XP box works fine on exactly the same file.

    I would like to know was there any previous version of Acrobat or MS office installed previously? Or Multiple versions of MS office?
    The steps you may want to try are:
    1. Uninstall Acrobat using cleaner Tool : http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
    2. Uninstall MS office.
    3. Logon as local admin
    4. Clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
    5. Install MS Office, check for updates if any available.
    6. Install Acrobat and make sure while installing Acrobat all the applications of MS office are closed.

    RESOLUTION (seems not logical, but this worked):
    Firefox would do nothing other than ask me to install the Firefox plugin for Adobe, which I accepted. This process leads to re-installing Adobe Reader. After installing Adobe Reader, all of the defaults that I previously had set to use Adobe Standard were re-set during the Adobe Reader installation to use Adobe Reader interally in Firefox.
    After re-installing, I was able to load the document that previously I was unable to load (using Adobe Reader inside Firefox). I changed all of the Adobe defaults (under TOOLS/OPTIONS) to "always use Adobe Standard" instead of "Use Adobe Reader (default)". I was then able to open the document using Adobe Standard.
    It appears that the following process solved the problem:
    > uninstall Adobe Reader
    > reinstall Adobe Reader (and the Firefox Adobe plugin)
    > change the defaults from "Use Adobe Reader (default)" to "Adobe Standard [release number]"
    Note: I have Firefox 21.0 installed, and Adobe Reader XI 11.0.3 installed prior to, and after, this issue.

    The computer that I set up Adobe Standard XI crashed and I need to reinstall all my software on my new computer. I have a product key for adobe XI standard, but when I go to download XI standard I keep getting redirected to Adobe XI pro. Unfortaunately I do not have a key for XI pro but for standard so it is useless for me to download XI pro.

    Have you checked your Adobe account online?  There might be a link there for you to download.
    You could also try the following direct download resource.  You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
    Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    I lost my installation CD and my computer crashed .... need to reinstall Adobe standard 8 but can't find a link for downloading this old version.

  • Adobe Standard XI shuts down randomly Exception code: 0xc0000005

    Adobe standard XI (updated) will randomly crash and close. Whether it's a single pdf or multiple pdfs open. Others with same product and same workstation configurations do not experience this issue.
    Windows 7 pro 64bit fully patched.
    Troubleshooting so far:
    Reimage
    Updated NVidia driver to latest from NVidia site.
    repair
    Turned off "Enable Enhanced Security"
    Turned on "Automatically trust documents with valid certification"
    removed using AdbeArCleaner_v2 and reinstalled/updated
    Install of standard X does not crash...

    The first error has nothing to do with Photoshop - that's some .NET application.
    The second error is most likely connected to a third party plugin or driver.
    And you're running Photoshop CC (14.x) instead of the current Photoshop CC 2014 (15.x).

  • Can not view all the thumbnails in version 9 adobe standard

    I recently installed adobe standard 9 running parallel with adobe standard 5.
    My end user is claiming of the view setting for patient data. She can not scroll all the way to the bottom
    as she could in adobe 5. She can see all the thumbnails minus the last row. I have changed the prefereces to show the same
    as adobe 5. However I can not get the correct settting to make it right for her.
    Any adivse or trouble shoot steps would be appreciated. Adobe said to update the product, I have done that last night.

  • Have Adobe Standard CS 5 (Student), and would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud (Non-Student) - won't accept my serial number for special pricing for existing users

    I currently use Adobe Standard CS 5. It was bought with the Education discount. I would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud and see that they have special pricing for existing customers that use past versions of Creative Suite. I am no longer in Education, so I will have to buy a full version. This is fine, but it won't accept my serial number for the discounted pricing. Is there something else I should be doing?

  • If I purchase Adobe Standard, how many computers can I install it onto? And is there any way of buy an additional subscription? i.e. if it can only be installed onto two, is it possible to purchase a third installation?

    The company I work for are looking to purchase Adobe Standard, how many computers can this be installed onto? We need it on three computers so if it is only possible to install it onto two is it possible to install it onto a third computer without having to buy the software twice?

    We would like to inform you that you can just activate 2 machines with one subscription, however, you can just use one at a time.
    If you wish to use the 3 machine, then, you would have to purchase another subscription with a different email address.
    You would need another email address, because the activation is done via email address and more than two activation on 1 email is not possible.

  • Adobe Reader does not recognize file name (filename10.5.11.pdf) but does in Adobe Standard 9.  Why?

    I post documents to our Intranet site and found out recently that Adobe Reader does not recognize certain file names in PDF files.  For instance,  when trying to open a PDF file with the name
    filename10.5.11.pdf  in Adobe Reader, the web browser will not open the PDF and the display is blank.   When I'm using another computer with Adobe Standard 9, I do not have a problem opening the file.
    I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar issue and why Reader will not recognize the file name and Standard does.

    The version is Adobe Reader 10.1.0    I will request the latest version
    and let you know if that fixes the problem
    Actually I had changed the name of the file so our associates could access
    the file (changed the  .  to a hyphen)  It still made me wonder why Reader
    wouldn't open it at that time.

    In case its not 10.1.1, please try updating to the latest version and see

    Have you tried to reset preferences?  And no you do not have to start Bridge to do this.,
    Hold down the Ctrl key and start Bridge.  You should get a reset window with 3 options.  Choose all 3.
