Have ordered Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 (for MAC, EN version). Order went through but finally order was cancelled as Adobe Store was unable to approve. Subsequently order was cancelled. did anybody experience the same issue and how to proceed.

    Hi there
Please check with your credit card issuer to see why payment is not being approved.  When this is resolved you should be able to place a new order.
    Thanks
    Bev

  • Why my order is canceled? Unfortunately we were unable to approve your order in the Adobe Store.

I just ordered premium production but then recive mail  -"Unfortunately we were unable to approve your order in the Adobe Store."

You will have to take it up with sales support. Contact them by web form or web chat.

  • Mylenium or Adobe Store is Wrong

    Hello,
I posted the following on another forum discussion after I had a conversation with Adobe Store (recorded):
“I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on my PC (part of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard - upgrade version). Although I am not able to upgrade Adobe CS3 to CS6, I gather that it is possible to upgrade Acrobat 8 Pro to the latest version. Most important, I want to install the Acrobat upgrade on my new PC running Windows 7.
The serial number for my existing upgrade version of Acrobat begins with 1118-xxxx although the registered upgrade version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 begins with a different suffix.
If I buy the upgrade to Acrobat 8 Pro, I have been told that I can put the new upgrade disk into my new PC and I do not have to put any previous software [CS3 Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro] owned on my PC. Is this correct?”
Adobe Store said that a version of Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro beginning with the suffix 1118-xxx would be acceptable and I could upgrade regardless of whether this was a Suite version.
    However, Mylenium stated:
“You cannot upgrade suite-bundled versions to standalones and that is that. Your serial number won't work. It's an "either/or" thing, not "maybe/ perhaps this could work". Spare yourself the trouble, just get Creative Cloud.”
Mylenium’s response is completely contrary to the advice provided by Adobe store.
Who do I believe Adobe Store or Mylenium?
This is important to me as I have given thousands of $ to Adobe in the past and am unable to upgrade my CS3 version. Life is unfair but this seems to be absurd and, based on the fact that the websites of Adobe’s partners and Adobe clearly state that a version of Acrobat 8 Professional can be upgraded, Adobe needs to clarify this matter.
    Thank you
    Phil

    Hello
I refer to my previous post and note that Rave has said that it’s up to Adobe Store to make a decision on an upgrade from a suite product to a single point product. Sadly, I could not see how I could respond to Rave’s comments without creating a new post but am now able to reply after John's input.
Let’s have a look at Adobe’s suppliers who say that you can also upgrade from CS3 to CS6 when this is not part of Adobe’s policy. The link below is a link to a major supplier of products in the broadcasting business and it seems clear that Adobe is not explaining its position to its suppliers as well as not offering private individuals fair play. Look here for this example in the UK:
    http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/adobe_design-standard-upgrades
From my perspective, given the amount of $/£ made to Adobe with multiple purchases, surely I can get an upgrade for Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro (used to have Adobe Acrobat 6 Pro as well as CS3 Design Standard) when Adobe Store says so and Adobe’s suppliers say that this is possible.
Can someone from Adobe get back to me on this?
    Thanks
    Phil

  • Cautionary tale re phone orders at Adobe Store

I ordered Creative Suite Design Standard from the adobe store by phone on October 23rd and have learned some things that have disappointed me: They don't send out tracking numbers for shipments after phone orders; if a shipment disappears they make it your responsibility to deal with Fed Ex to find out what happened to it. When Fed Ex declares the shipment lost it still requires argument to get a replacement shipped out and they charge you for shipping again. To learn this required 5 emails on the store's online form (none of which have been answered despite a promised 24 hour turn around) and 6 phone calls. I was told on 11/7 that a replacement was being shipped out but that I would need to call back to get the tracking number. I called back on the 10th only to be told after 2 calls and talking to three different people that it wouldn't be shipped until the 12th so I would have to call after that and that I was being charged shipping again.
I remain skeptical and disillusioned at this point. I don't know if I am just unlucky or if the individual customer is no longer important - I am just a hobbyist but I do keep current with photoshop and had decided to expand to the design studio. I realize that the lost product was beyond Adobe's control - but I would assume they have more resources for dealing with Fed Ex than I do and that until I receive the shipment it is Adobe's responsibility - or that at least they would make some effort to keep me satisfied.

    Peter,
Sometimes you've gotta just make a good argument. Ask again for a supervisor (although they may not be anxious to do it, and you may wind up on hold for a bit) -- insist on it; tell 'em you'll wait -- as the front line customer support has been unable to resolve this.
Keep your cool and ask the supervisor to please look at this from your standpoint. I mean, you've been seriously inconvenienced, and you've spent considerable time trying to get this resolved. You're not asking for much -- but for free shipping as Adobe is currently offering, plus a refund or credit of shipping charges from the lost shipment, and you'll feel compensated for all the trouble you've been put for. And let the supervisor know you're a big fan of Adobe software.
Over the years, I've been through this kind of scenario more times than I care to count with a number of businesses. And the majority of the time, if I'm reasonable, and I speak to a supervisor or manager, I get what I want.

  • Why and how does Adobe Store's policy deliberately impede Least Developed Countries from developing?

    Hi there,
My name is Dr Eric Mousset. I currently reside in Cambodia, having the privilege to serve as (international) Technical Assistant to support a Government project that is co-funded by the Royal Government of Cambodia and the World Bank, and purposed to Higher Education Capacity and Quality Improvement.
My mission implies conducting a survey on skills demand by employers and skills supply by Higher Education Institutions, in order to better inform further policy development.
Among the expected policy outcomes: a more effective alignment between skills supply and job market needs.
Among the desired policy impacts: providing the Cambodian economy with the HR skills that are required for its growth and diversification.
I am impressed by the combined capabilities of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Adobe Forms Central. And until this morning it was on top of my shortlist of surveying tools.
Unfortunatley, while attempting to upgrade to FormsCentral's "Plus" plan, I have received the following reply from Adobe:
    Unsupported Country
    Thus here is my question:
Why and how does Adobe Store's policy deliberately impede Least Developed Countries from developing?
    Yours sincerely,
    Dr Eric Mousset

    Hi;
I can't speak to the business decisions that lead to which countries we enable purchasing subscriptions in the store, but I can guarantee you that it is not to impede anyones development.
A credit card with an address in any of the supported countries can be used for purchasing the subscription, this has enabled many to get around the issue, but that is the only way to subscribe.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Flash Install on Vista, Adobe Store and more

    Greetings,
I have a new Dell Optiplex 330 with Vista Home Basic. I tried
to install Flash from the site and could not. Ran through all the
trouble-shooting and finally had to resort to downloading the
    standalone installer.
Flash content works fine on some websites - some meaning I
cann access the Adobe Store. Only the background colors with a grey
box with "OK" in it. Tried updating using the Flash site and
    nothing.
When I view my previous purchases under Mu Account (I can see
that), downloading them won't work on this computer. I alays get a
"data integrity" error. I use another machine - also Vista - do
download it for me, and to make store purchases.
None of the Flash troubleshooting methods work for me. Any
    ideas???

Posting this was actually helpful. It has me thinking: I have
an x20e WatchGuard firewall and AV security. A proxy is open to the
computer that can access the store and download manager so its a
    firewall setting.
Anyone with a WatchGuard firewall out there that knows what
settings I need to access this?

  • When purchasing through the Adobe store

When purchasing through the Adobe store - which country will be so settled with? Here in Denmark we pay the tariff fee for the Danish postal service if traded in a country outside the EU.
If I buy Premiere Element for example - will I be cleared on top of that amount at 725 Danish kroner as specified?

This would be a good question for Adobe's Customer Service people.

  • Downloaded .afm font from adobe store .. cannot install ???

    Hi guys
I purchased helvetica light bold from the adobe store and made sure that I chose the mac font option and after I unzipped the folder it was in a .afm format which I cannot seem to use?
I use Linotype font manager and it tells me there is no usable info in the file?
    Pls. help :)
    Corey

    HelveNarBol.AFM
this is the name of the file .. there is a link to supposed directions that say:
Mac OS X has native support for Type 1 and OpenType fonts, which can be installed just like other font type on OS X. However, fonts installed in OS X system locations are not available to Classic applications (see section below). Fonts installed in the OS X native environment can be accessed by (a) any user or (b) just by an individual user.
Only I dont know why I cannot copy and paste or drage the files and have them work....?

  • Buying from Amazon vs Adobe store

Lets set aside for now the discrepancy between US and UK
    pricing - I see
that the CS3 Web Premium is for sale at amazon.co.uk for
    £513.99 whereas
    Adobe store are charging £534.62
How can that be? How come a retailer can charge less than the
    actual source?
What other UK prices have been spotted? I guess that if I
    ordered from Adobe
    direct it may arrive sooner.
    Maybe.

  • Does the Adobe Store sell CS InDesign Mac version?

I want to buy CS InDesign (perpetual licence) for Mac (NOT Windows) from the Adobe Store. I can't see it listed, so assume they only sell the Windows version from their store. Or am I missing something?

Thank you, but I'm already aware that the store offers the CS6 suite. HOWEVER, my point is that I can't find any reference to InDesign for MACINTOSH. I can only see a Windows version for sale, which I do not want.
I can't find it anywhere on the store's site. Only the Windows version appears to be available.

  • PSE9 on Adobe Store & App Store?

I noticed that PSE9 is in both store, but different price: in App Store $79.99, in Adobe Store $89.99. Is there any diffrences between the two versions? And I wonder why the one in App Store is even cheaper. Apple takes 30% of the purchases (I don't know what's on Mac App Store but I do know developers for iOS Apps can only get 70% of the money. Apple takes the rest) and the licence seems to be able to use on every Mac signed in with the same account, while the one in Adobe Store has a strict licence restriction.

All the tools will work but customization, such as adding actions may prove difficult.
Just to point out that this is speculation based on a particular thread here. I've not found it corroborated elsewhere, at least not yet. So maybe yes, maybe no, for this. (It could also be a problem with finding the right locations in Lion, where many folders are now hidden that used to be readily accessible--not enough information yet.)
The point I wonder about and have not gotten a response about from adobe is how updates to the raw converter will work with the app store version. Program updates would be handled through the app store's updating process, but I don't know if it would be possible to manually update the raw converter if there's a problem with the direct download version.
EDIT and Apple takes no responsibility for troubleshooting programs just because you buy them via the app store. Ask any mac developer who sells that way, or take a look a the support forums for programs like pixelmator, which are only available through the app store. They will help with purchasing problems and downloading problems, but that's about it.
