Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. We don't even know what exactly you are trying to install.

Hello I downloaded adobe after effect CS6, but it is not installed and asks to install Adobe Support Advisor. yes, I did that with helping message 3, I'd remove Cs6 only, but it did not help. The message "Failed to initialize the setup program. To identify the problem, download the program Adobe Support Advisor" repeat again =(

I have a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium PC. I recently had to reinstall my PC. I'm trying to install my Adobe Products like Flash Professional CS5 and Photoshop CS5, but it keeps coming up with the message "Failed to initialize. File not found. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." I keep looking around at different sites, but they seem so difficult and so much information which leaves me so confused. I have no idea how or why this has happened, and due to my autism it leaves me very panicky.
I've tried the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Here are the results.

I am trying to re-install Photoshop CS6. The files have downloaded but I get and error message that the Adobe Support Advisor is required to determine what the installation probIem is. I click on the link that says "get the Support Advisor here only to be told the Support Advisor no longer exists!! A blind loop. I need to have Photoshop CS6 installed...what do I do from here??
The CC Cleaner Tool assumes the Akamai Download Manager is activated and it has not. It seems to be the missing file that triggers the error message. \in a previous re-install I was prompted to download & install the Akamai Download Manger, but not this time. Is there somewhere on the Adobe website that I can download it??

My PC got infected with virus and i was using avast, intead of repairing the files it deleted them. so i had to reinstall most of the softwares. but for photoshop i had to use "adobe creative suite cleaner tool" and "adobe support advisor", but though i get this error "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
[edited by host]Two things to try. Try another browser, if you used Firefox try IE9, or chrome, or whatever. Sometimes just trying it again might work as server was busy or there was a gllitch in connection.

[CS5.5] Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
I get the error when I reinstalled CS5.5. It shows "the installer failed to initialize".
Then I downloaded Adobe Support Advisor but that didn't say anything was wrong.
Also, I used Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to clear all the services installed.
What should I do?

I had elements 10 on a laptop and want to install on my desktop. I downloaded the program and get a message that it cannot be installed, possibly due to missing files. It says to download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. When I do, I get a message that Adobe Support Advisor is discontinued.
you need the matching exe file, too. both should be placed in the same directory and then click the exe.

if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.
if everything applicable above fails, check your installation logs:

I receive a message when trying to open Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, etc., then when I try to follow the directions for troubleshooting, the installer fails to initialize.
Error message: "Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem. However it is missing or damaged". Then, after download, the program fails to load and displays this message: "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem". When following the link, Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued 'because their products are now so stable. -I can see how stable they are.. How do I get assistance with Installer issues?

Problem with installing Photoshop elements 9 and adobe support advisor
Hi, I've received a graphic tablet with 2 programs: the first has been downloaded and works perfectly while the second, PSE9, has been giving me problems for at least a week!
I downloaded it and now I have a winzip file full of strange things (one of this is set up exe which tells me that I have to install adobe support advisor) and two files which said 3DF.tmp and PSEP9(1).zip.download and if I try to click them they tell me that I have to find on the Net the program to open them because I can't. And I don't know which program is required.
I tried a lot of times to download the adobe support advisor, I have enough space on my disc and my farewall is deactivated, but when the program begins I saw this annoyant message

I unistalled it and retried, but nothing.

I just got creative cloud 2014 and decided to install After effects on my laptop. I get error to install Adobe Application Manager. Cs6 mc Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
I am having trouble installing cs6 mc from both dvd and download.
I keep getting the same error for the Installer "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
Is there a fix for this?
