Adobe Support Responding to an invalid serial number

Adobe is deliberately stealing my software and blocking it from usage.  While they recognize my email address when I tried to create a new account to share this with fellow consumers, they cannot find my records and are blocking my Adobe product from working.  Please contact me for class action suit against Adobe.  Here is the transcript:

Dave: This is some new way of cheating your customers on old software?
Tanvi: Dave, could you please provide me with the order number so that I can check this for you?
Dave: Three years ago. I have no records.
Dave: Am I a victim of some kind of hacker program with Adobe and Starbucks?
Dave: This is outrageous that I must spend my time to fix a problem created by Adobe.
Tanvi: I apologize, in that case I will not be able to check this further for you.
Tanvi: The serial numbers generated by us do get decoded in our systems and if you are facing any issues and had purchased it from Adobe directly, we can check the order number and help you further with this
Tanvi: We will not be able to check this further as the serial number is not decoding and we do not have any record of any order under your account to verify this.
Dave: There is no way I have the original purchase records from three years ago. Adobe must know this and is targeting old users to invalidate software.
Tanvi: If you have any proof of purchase or adobe order number for the product, you can contact us back and we will be glad to verify this for you and help you further with getting the correct serial number
Dave: Please give me a number that will unlock my software.
Dave: This is theft and consumers must strike back. How many others are you running this scam on?
Tanvi: I apologize Dave, as I said we will not be able verify this and help you further unless we have the order number or any proof of purchase for the order.

Tanvi: We will need to check the proof of purchase or the order (if purchased from Adobe directly) so that we can verify this and help you further
Dave: My software worked and now it does not. Adobe is responsible for killing a product purchased from Adobe. Your download system is a fraud in that it leaves no recourse for consumers. I will file complaints with the BBB and my congressman and senators.
Tanvi: We will be glad to check this for you however, we will not able to proceed without any valid proof of purchase.
Dave: Proof of purchase is all electronic. You are stealing my product. Please validate my serial number.
Dave: Your records were hacked or lost. This product worked fine for 3 years and now you are stealing from me.

Dave: This was 3 years ago. You have no right to invalidate my software purchased from Adobe. Your records are faulty and consumers must know Adobe cannot be trusted.
Tanvi: We are not invalidating your software.
Dave: You invalidated functioning software due to failure of your system. Please provide a proper number so I can get back to business.
Dave: Your system is refusing to unlock my software. Adobe is at fault. All financial considerations are the responsibility of Adobe. This is a class action lawsuit which could cost Adobe billions.

Dave: Please validate my number as is validates on my computer.

Dave: All records are electronic and I don't have them. Perhaps I could spend hours going through old emails from 3 years ago. Perhaps I would be better served to hire a lawyer and file a class action suit to reveal that Adobe has corrupted records and is running a scam on owners of Adobe softwre.

This is a serious mistake by Adobe to invalidate 3 year old software.  Consumers like me don’t like getting cheated by a multi-billion dollar corporation.  You don’t understand how expensive this will be for Adobe to provide records of all purchases and to prove that they have not lost serial numbers or that they are not running a scam to steal paid software from consumers.  I should not have to find records that are years old to use software I purchased.  I did not contact you, you remotely blocked my software.  I did not authorized any contact with Adobe and I resent that Adobe is invading my privacy.  Adobe is keeping me from using a legally owned product.  I purchased the Acrobat software from Adobe approximately 3 years ago and now Adobe has stolen the software from me.   It is very simple.  You either owe me $300 or you owe me some kind of code that will unlock my software. 
If you begin to Google any part from my posting, you’ll see it on a half dozen sites.  By this time in a month, it will be on a thousand sites.  Anyone purchasing Adobe software should be well advised that Adobe can and will invalidate that software years from the date of purchase, then demand records from the owner that cannot be produced without extreme difficulty.  I will also ask my grandstanding Democrat Senator to hold public hearings on how many people have been cheated by Adobe Corporation.  I think this is not a battle you want to fight.   Your greed exceeds your common sense.  Please provide me a code to unlock my software.  I already have lawyers calling to file a class action suit.

  • I am getting an invalid serial number error for Adobe Acrobat XI

    Hi -
    My principal has ordered a copy of Adobe Acrobat XI for a school computer. The disc came with a serial number for a Mac installation, which he is hoping to install on his macbook air. I am using Remote Disc to install it.
    However, the serial number that comes both on the invoice and on the back of the CD sleeve is only 23 digits long and when entered gives an Invalid Serial Number error. I would love it if somebody from Adobe could contact me and get a replacement serial number that would be valid for the installation.
    I'm not going to post the serial number here because of reasons.

  • Adobe Elements 11 and Premiere Elements 11: invalid serial number on the number for Premiere???

    During the install, the Elements 11 portion accepted the serial on the box just fine and installed, but the Premiere serial number was rejected as "invalid"???

    I suspect that you are not going to get any support from Adobe on this since you are not using the latest version which is Premiere Elements 13.

    cause of the situation.
    My first question would be "If the installation is accepting the serial number, where are you when you get the message about the Invalid Serial Number?
    Without going into specifics and do not post serial numbers, did you purchase the product from Adobe direct or an authorized retailer or a private seller?
    Are you working with a regular version or one of those Student Teacher versions? On what computer operating system are you trying to run Premiere Elements 13?

  • Invalid Serial Number: OEM Adobe Elements 8

    I bought a computer and Adobe Elements 8 came on the computer. I re-installed the computer. I have the two original disks and the disk sleeves. The serial number is on the sleeve with the text "Adobe Elements 8" above the serial number. I am now trying to install it on the computer it came with.
    It says invalid serial number. I have reviewed the serial number four times to make sure that it is correctly entered. There is no error code.
    I contacted Adobe Customer Support through chat and he stated that I needed to post it here.
    Can someone please help?

    Ive had a the same problem re-installing phtoshop elements 7 that originally came free with my VAIO laptop. Although my serial numbers has be registered (by me when I first got the laptop) and it is clearly shown on my Adobe Account ID when I re-install its not accepting my serial number.  I've re-installed premiere elements in the same way and that had succeeded so I cant understand why photoshop elements is behaving differently as they both came free with the laptop at the same time.  I've also been onto 'chat' and a very polite 'customer service representative' told me that I need to find my solution in the user forums.  So, not much help there! and not much customer service either! So I'll carry on the search for a solution and post back here if I ever get one; providing that I can find the time to keep searching of course.

    Hey Adobe. So, after i finally went through alot of trouble to get Adobe After Effects true the link an MVP gave me, I'm on the final step and I'm having trouble once again. Whenever i try to put in the serial number on the back of the CD box, it says "invalid Serial Number in Adobe After Effects CS6". I just got the box in today in the mail from Amazon, I dont know if im doing something wrong or what. If i have to call i can call cause i can understand there's alot of "Fake" copies out there, but im just hoping to get this through nice and easy. So can anyone help me?

    I think that you'll need to get in touch with support to sort this out.
    But you could check your order to see if you ordered and upgrade or a new purchase. The serial numbers for upgrade are different, and require the earlier version on your computer ( or its serial number instead).
    If you've oredered an upgrade, check that you're entering the correct serial number. You'll probably be prompted to enter both: once for qualifying product and once for the new upgrade.
    Let us know if this was the issue. If not, I suggest that you get in touch with Adobe Support.

    Purchased Creative Suite 6 Design Standard discs.  Reistered product, got serial number, inserted discs, rejected for invalid serial number.
    Have double checked everything.
    Called Customer Support - couldn't help.
    Online chat, told me they were technical problems and to try again in 7 hours.
    Try what in 7 hours? I can't register again.  It won't install, the number gets rejected as invalid.
    Can Abode help me clear this up?

    If the serial number is correct, please copy the files from the disk to your local computer and then run those files. It should fix the problem,
    If still faces the problem then manually download the product from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html and then try installation.

  • Adobe Photoshop cs4 extended invalid serial number

    I just bought adobe photoshop cs4 extended from a large retail computer store.I had the trial version of photoshop cs4 extended.I uninstalled the trial version and installed from dvd.I got a Invalid serial number error.I am sure there was a software configuration problem .The reason ,the disk needs to verfy that you have the original disk,If that happens ,After installation ,Just delete this file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db This is the location where it installed the serial . After deleteing it will create a new cache.db file and store the serial there that goes with that disk . When you open PS cs4 it will ask to enter serial again.Just enter the serial again that came with box ..I guess this would work also with adobe photoshop cs4

    I encountered the same problem with Photoshop CS5 - I had the trial version installed, and now bought the extended version, but it keeps saying the license key is invalid.  I did unistall, ran the cleanup tool, but it is still not working.  Any help is appreciated.
