Adobe tool erases all CS5 design suite

I used the CC cleaner tool to help me install a new programme.
And it has erased my entire CS5 creative suite?
@Adobe
How can I get my programmes back? I cannot find the installation disk I used almost 4 years ago to reinstall!

To v10.8.5 ?
Check the Adobe site for Mac requirements.

  • Re-Downloading CS5 Design Suite?

    Hello,
I need some assistance for my download of the CS5 Design Standard Suite.  I downloaded the Suite from Adobe to my MacBook Pro in June of 2010. However, While trying to partition my hard drive in order to run Windows, I found out that I will need to re-install Snow Leopard the hard drive in order to actually partition the drive. This means that the Adobe Standard Suite will get wiped from my computer. I went onto the Adobe website to check my download history and it says that I have not downloaded anything from the website. However when I go to my Product Registration page it shows me that I have the serial numbers for both Adobe Design Standard and Adobe Acrobat Professional. My question is how do I re-download both of these onto my freshly wiped computer? Will I have to pay for them again or is there another option? Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it is purchased directly from Adobe as a download,
then you can redownload it under "View Order History"
Just make sure that you log in using the email address that you used to purchase and download the software.

  • CS3 to CS5 Design suite

I currently have CS3 suite and have been happy running it on my vista 64bit for a few years now. I have got to the stage where CS5 seems to have some tools I would like to try. Now my questions are:-
Now if I install a trial version of CS5 will it install over the top of CS3?
    Or
Would it install side by side which is what I would prefer. Would any features of CS3 stop working e.g. bridge.
If I decided not to upgrade to CS5 would I have then to do a full install of CS3 again?
    thanks
    C

CS5 will install stand alone and won't touch CS3. But...the new apps will take over as the default for the operating system.
If you uninstall CS5 after the trial, you'll likely have to uninstall and reinstall CS3.

  • Downloaded Adobe design suit web premium in 2012 and lost all information on that purchase because Apple wiped my mac clean...What do I do?

So I brought my Mac book pro retina to Apple to fix a glitch. The Technician called me and told me to come back it up before he does anything else. So I go pick it up and bring it home to find out the whole computer had be factory reset. I was pissed cuz why should I have bothered to pick it up if he already wiped the memory he told me to come back up. So i bring it back and complain to them but they obviously can't bring back that information once it's been factory reset. I also can't sue them for their f-up cuz you sign a stupid piece of paper that says if they f-up and lose any memory that its your fault for not backing it up. Anyways this poses a huge problem for me because I have now lost all my Adobe programs. I download the suit online instead of getting a disk because this mac has no cd port and at the time I didn't have an external one. Not sure what email I used to buy the program with either....I also don't think posting this in a forum will help either but adobe only gave me that option as a form of help....it doesn't help if i need to directly talk to someone in their company. I really don't wanna have to buy the program over again cuz who has the money to buy a several hundred dollar program twice? I know I don't.
I'm guessing I have to call their customer service, but does anyone else have any ideas?

. . . was wondering: Would you happen to know if, < Adobe CS5 Design Premium > in compatible or incompatible with MS WIN8.1? I bought a new Dell XPS 9530 -- with NO CD drive. I copied my CS5 install disk to a Flash Drive, then ran the "install" on my new computer. I had the ownership S/N, so-o-o-o, CS5 installed and "seems" to respond well. PROBLEM: PhotoShop. The Menu Bar, the Commands, the Tool Bar, the Color Palettes, and etc., etc., are all real small on my display -- I would estimate they are about 1/3 of the normal size. Same problem with Illustrator. I've made all the Screen Resolution and Print-Size settings and nothing remedies the small display. (My working page is fine; it's just the display that is REAL tiny!!) Can you help me? Do you have any suggestions for me to try? Should I re-install from the internet? Am I forced to upgrade my application? I appreciate any comments you might have. Thanks. -- Dennis

  • All tools in Photoshop CS5 not moving smoothly (only making dots instead of lines)

All my tools in Photoshop CS5, including the brush, eraser, healing brush, etc. are only making dots, instead of drawing smooth lines. When using the brush tool, for example, if I click down and drag my mouse to draw something, only the initial dot for where I clicked down gets colored in. Does anyone have any ideas as to why?

Does anything jump out to you that could be causing this problem? Also, my lasso tool doesn't work properly as I can't drag anywhere. The move tool also doesn't work properly. I can click down and drag a layer, but after I release my click, the layer moves back to its previous position. The only way to move any layers is by free-transforming them.

  • Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Suite

    You are welcome, Priscilla.
If you have upgraded to Yosemite without reinstalling CS3, you may uninstall in the same way as you normally uninstall, then install again in the same way as when you first installed it. You may rn the Cleanar Tool in between, to be on the safe side with regard to strange things lingering, but it should be unnecessary if everything has worked before the Yosemite upgrade.
    http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
As mentioned, you should update your CS3:

Concerning drivers I have no clue, I am afraid, being too silly to use a Mac.

  • Reinstall Adobe CS5 Design Premium

I had Adobe CS5 Design Premium on my iMac running now system 10.8.4. Going on travel, I uninstaled InDesign and Photoshop on my iMac to be able to instal it on my MacBook Air running 10.7.5 which is the highest it can handle. Back home, I unistalled InDesign and Photoshop on my MacBook Air to be able to reinstall it on my iMac, but guess what? My iMac does not recognize my installation CD because "You can't open the application "Install.app" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
I am very sorry but I can't afford to switch to an upgrade. I would like very much to be able to continue to use what I bought: it was still working on my iMac under system 10.8.4 so it is only the installation program which causes trouble. Can Adobe help me out of this?
    Best regards,
    Jerome

Sorry to say, this doesn't work. I found this page already before asking help. But I tried it again as you mentioned it in your reaction. Any link I try leads finaly to upgrade to CS6 or Creative Cloud and says CS5 is no more for sale. I just want to reinstall CS5, but the install program on my install CD seems to be PowerPC and refuses to work on my iMac with OS 10.8.4. But it works on my MacBook Air with OS 10.7.5. What I also tried:
    1.     Installing from my MacBook Air on my iMac via my network: is not accepted.
    2.     From my MacBook Air I made a start-up extern disk with OS 10.7.5, then started up my iMac with this disk. The internal DVD reader does not recognize the install-CD. The external optical drive, who accepts the install CD with my MacBook Air system 10.7.5 rejects the install CD with the same extern optical drive connected to my iMac that also is started up with 10.7.5.
    3.     Went to my Adobe order hystory. Found back the order of my CS5 but found no button to download it again. Is this because it was shipped in a box to me?
    4.     Reinstalled Photoshop on my iMac with Time Machine: works to my surprise and satisfaction, but I think this is by accident. Reinstalled InDesign with Time Machine: after starting up, InDesign tells me: "Configuration error. Please unistall and reinstall the product. If this problem occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen. Error: 5"
    5.     Thinking something in the system is missing, with Time Machine I also brought back in Library > Application Support > Adobe back to the same date as the InDesign reinstallation: same result: error 5.
When I want to unistall as asked, the uninstall program does not sees any InDesign. It sees only Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Illustrator. So also Photoshop is not found, although it is back on my iMac and works perfect, which let me think the reinstallation of Photoshop with Time Machine was by accident. I tried other dates with Time Machine for InDesign but all in vain.
I realy wonder why software developers make life so diffucult for honest users. Why do they hide from direct contact? I want to be able to call someone who helps me out of this. ADOBE !?!

  • Cannot re-download The Adobe CS5 Design Premium to new laptop

    Dear All,
I would like to re-install the CS5 Design Premium software that I've purchased last year because I would like to install it on my new laptop. Now I am using my toshiba laptop so I need to re-install the software, but when I logged on into the adobe account and download it, It said that it has been over 30 days and I can't download/re-install it anymore. Is there any solution for this problem?
Thank you all and waiting for your response.

You could just have backed it up somewhere? It says so on the downloads page. Other than that try this: http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl

  • Can't download the Adobe CS5 Design Premium package

I'm trying to download The Adobe CS5 design premium on a 10.10 Yosemite Macintosh laptop. The download gets to 3.76 GB then pauses for an eternity, I don't understand what the issue is. I've tried to re-download the file three times with the same result. One of the attempts prompted me to update to Java 8, which I did, but that didn't do anything.

    use a different browser and/or a different (wired) connection and/or a download manager and/or a different link.
    for the prodesigntools.com link:
if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: Download Adobe CS5 Free Trials – All Direct Links without Akamai | ProDesignTools
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

  • Can I use my old Design Suite CS5 on my new MacBook Pro?

I bought the Design Suite CS5 two, three years ago and now I have bought a new MacBook Pro. I've heard that I cannot use the programs that I bought, and that I now have to start subscribing to the programs using Creative Cloud. Is this true?

Absolutely untrue.  Download, install, and activate your software from https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-product-downloads.html
Deactivate the software on your old computer if you don't use it any more.
