How can I find the location of the signature used in the Adobe Reader signature feature? I've been using the signature feature for a while now and it works great and I'd like to use it on another computer. However, I forgot where I stored the signature. Adobe finds it with no problems (the signature pops up when I click "Place Signature"), but I have no idea where it is.

Adobe muse like feature in Reflow

When can we expect to have adobe muse like features e.g., widgets, library etc to be included in reflow? One thing I don't like about muse that I like about reflow is that it export somewhat sematic html, css, So, its re usable. Having muse like widgets and library capability I think will be great. Ofc having to able to import a bootstrap will be just as nicer!

Yes. Look at the address carefully - 'tunes' - and the link to enter your information will also be a non-Apple one. Don't follow any links; bin it.

I've seen this requested in several past Lightroom versions.
Is Adobe not addressing this basic feature for a reason?, I mean, even Aperture has this feature, it can't be that hard to add? Can it?
Maybe Adobe isn't reading the feature request?

Honestly, I am hardly qualified to even guess - there are tons of bugs reported that would be easy to fix, but aren't, features that would be useful and easy enough to implement, but aren't. Things like focus points which seem like a no brainer but are never implemented - your guess is as good as mine..
But to be clear: focus points are different for different cameras, and are stored in proprietary metadata. - not impossible to get at, obviously, but requires some programming/maintenance..
Worth noting: Apple is shutting down their Aperture business. Yeah, they support focus points and all kinds of good stuff, but I guess Aperture isn't a real money-maker for them (lotsa maintenance work, but not a lot of revenue) - relatively small market.
Adobe has been working on Revel, and Lightroom Mobile.., instead of focus points (and bug fixes, and...) - my guess: that's where the money is, or where they think it is.

Adobe RH Server 6 = "Adobe RH6 + Additional features"

Right now, I'm working on the trial version of RH2002. My
company and ofcourse all our members are new to RH. My PM was
impressed on the help file which i developed using this trial
version. At last, he decided to purchase the latest version of RH
and he gave me a list and asked which one to purchase. Here is the
list:

list) I've also worked on the trial version of "Adobe RH6" but i've
not even tried "Adboe RH Server 6" thinking that some additional
features specified in the adobe site would be available in this.
Lateron, i entered into the forum, to see if there were any
topics discussed regarding this...ofcourse there were many...really
i was much more afraid on seeing those relevant topics and kindly
excuse me as i need some more clarity....Are these two separate
products???. To go in for "Adobe RH server 6", should we purchase
"Adobe RH6" also. I thought, if we purchase "Adobe RH Server 6", we
will have get the same "Adobe RH6 software (Help authoring tool)"
with some additional features". Pls give me your valuable inputs on
this as this is killing me because i've already informed my PM

I certainly don't want to discourage you from looking at
RoboHelp Server 6. At the same time I want to help you understand
the differences.
Your two main needs apparently are: to link and search among
multiple merged projects. You can do that NOW with "plain" WebHelp
(or FlashHelp) without RoboHelp Server!
So, what would you get extra with RH Server 6 and what
exactly are the Pro advantages? For that, you might want to take a
look at my article on the Adobe Developer Network which covers
Adobe RoboHelp Server 6.

So, basically, the "Pro" version provided by RH Server 6
gives you Feedback Reports on what your users are looking for and
the ability to search the text of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and
Adobe Acrobat PDF files which you cannot do with the "plain"
RoboHelp 6. These are tremendous advantages and many companies find
this worth the extra money. Remember, you don't have to buy RH
Server for each author, only one copy for the server. The authors
get RH 6.
As for "porting" RH 6 to RH Server 6, that's simple. You
really don't need to port them at all! You simply take the exact
same project from the RH 6 authoring tool and publish it to the RH
Server 6. So, it's not so much the tool you use to develop the
project (it's the same in all cases). Rather, it is the destination
of where you publish the project that makes the difference.

"Powered by Adobe" - Removal option feature request

I would love to remove this. I understand that this is currently not possible.
I'm willing to pay extra if required to remove these links. When embedding the forms on my website, the last thing I want to do is advertise for Adobe or have my competition figure out how I'm providing the service.
It seems wrong to me to have unwanted advert links for a service I'm paying for, but then again, perhaps I'm not paying enough. Please update features!!!!

Thank you for your feedback and we completely agree. We plan on removing the "Powered by/Terms of Use/Report Abuse" footer when a paid user (either Basic or Plus plan) embeds a form within a website. We'll probably be doing this in either our Jan or Feb release.

Adobe Open Source features in CS5

Adobe announces the issue of CS5, so what innovations in Open Source Technics will be included there? But what's about more advanced features? Who knows?

Yes we use Suitcase Fusion.
Prior to updaing to CS5 we had an older version of suitcase fusion 12.xxxx
When we upgraded to CS5 we also upgraded to the current version of Suitcase Fusion 3 & updated it.
No specific plugins come to mind.

Adobe, add tag feature for symbian 60!!!

adobe reader for symbian 60 is nearly useless because it requires reader to scroll left and right. There are serveral earlier posts on the tag issue, but adobe does not seem to do anyting about it.
However, adobe reader for PocketPC has the auto tag format built in. pdf file is tagged before they are download to pocketpc. PocketPC user can read pdf file with on the down button.

and i need your help to make the feature important.
If you encounter the same "unreadable without tag", please help by casting your vote and view on the above address. Until enough vote is gathered, i doubt adobe will add the tag feature.
Lets make things easier for adobe. If adobe does not want to waste resource to make the tag, at least make adobe reader open source, and someone will add the tag feature free for adobe, and there will be more sale for adobe writer.

Adobe acrobat professional Features

I am planning on buying Adobe professional but want to ensure there is a particular feature I need.
My plan is to have a simple web site to control the distribution of printed material in pdf format. What I want is to control the life span of the downloaded files so they cannot be printable for ever. I was hoping that a simple set up in adobe professinal would allow for a timer to lock the file 24 hours after download. Is this possible?

You can Google Digital Rights Management and come up with some other options (of which I can't personally vouch for) but Adobe does offer a solution. See http://www.adobe.com/manufacturing/resources/drm/
One thing to keep in mind, when Adobe doesn't give you a price right along with the product advertisement, you can almost be sure that the price tag will not be in the affordability range of anything short of a Fortune 500 company.

Adobe Reader Tab feature

My suggestion is Instead of opening each PDF file in separate window why adobe PDF reader developers do not create a tab feature to open all PDF file in one window with different tabs instead of opening several PDF windows, which create easy navigation between each file.

I had a question about the new browser fill feature. You can fill the entire browser with an image, color or gradient, but is there a way to fill the browser with a slide show? I was wanting to do a full screen slide show and have the images scale down with the width of the browser window. I've been trying to fix it to one side or another of the window, but I'm having trouble with that. How would I go about doing this in Muse? Here is an example of the website I've been working on. www.hoodrich.com Right now it has a solid grey color on both sides, but my ideal site would be to have the slideshow be fixed to the entire window. Ask Adobe to add features to Dreamweaver while it's still in Beta

You can also mention problems you have with the beta software on the forum - Adobe engineers are watching and have reported that they are logging the bugs.
It is better (in terms of getting Adobe's attention) to log bugs and request features on the official beta forum than it is to list them here on the User to User forum.

Why does Adobe implement new features half way?

The new hover scrub with big thumbnails in icon view would be certainly useful if it was implemented in a way that works. As it is, it's useless. Unless your total footage is about ten clips, you end up with dozens or over a hundred clips with no way to sort them out, unless you love wasting time and you drag them all around in the order you want, which I'm sure very few people are willing to do.
So why does Adobe bring in a new feature, even makes tutorials about it, when for most people is absolutely useless? I don't get it.
Oh, and before you nag me about filing a feature request, don't. I already did it, and this is not something anyone should do. Feature requests should be for new ideas, not a crutch for Adobe to rely on to release new features half way, and then expect people to nag them about it to finish them.

I think what you meant to say is that you wish the team would have implemented sorting features before they added hover scrubbing. Hover scrubbing is a separate feature than Icon View, which has been in the product without sorting capability for years.
I agree with you that sorting capability should have been added to icon view long ago, but that's no reason to hold back a cool feature like hover scrubbing to the UI.
The other thing is that we as editors do not know what goes on behind the scenes during software development. There are a number of reasons why hover scrubbing made it into the interface before sort capability.
Hover scrubbing might have been developed by another group, and key features important to Premiere Pro users were not yet added.
There was not enough time to implement the feature, and other features took precedence.
Implementing the feature broke 5 other things when it was added to the existing code.
Implementing the feature causes the application to crash more frequently.
Other reasons that are privy to software developers.
Not saying that any of these things happened, but we cannot know. Honestly, there's not much more we can do as users can do but to request what we want, and how we want those things to work.
