Adobe TV Down?

I'm a tutor for a world wide online photography course, but we don't teach Photoshop specifically.
I'm trying to point one of my students to the Adobe.tv pages for CS6 and Elements and I'm getting "page not found", I used my own bookmarks and also via the "learning" button on the Adobe.com front page: "learning" > "watch tutorials" but get a "connection was reset" error page. Does anyone know if this is a common issue, or if I'm just looking in the wrong place?

Good news!
I do not recall hearing that Adobe TV might be down, but could have missed the notice, or the outage could have been non-scheduled.
I do know that the Adobe Forums Team (not sure how much, if any overlap with Adobe TV) are doing some work. I had only heard about little outages, in the various forums, as they make a few changes to get some main pages more consistant.

    Quit Safari.
    Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
    Click:  Delete All
    Now select the Storage tab.
    Click Delete All
    Relaunch Safari to test.

    If you have not saved the document and Acrobat closed then it's not possible to retrieve the lost data on the pdf file.

    Hello Gener7,
         I did try everything on the FAQ page (all steps) I also did them a few more times with "Adobe help" walking me through 2 more times.  I just don't get it, I have been on with Adobe on some days up to 5 hours at a time for over a month now.  I think it must be something with the installation disc but they say no, no, switchboard is just not working on my OS X 10.9.4.  I even took the computer into the apple store here and had them look it over, reinstall everything and they say it's the Adobe software.
         Thank you very much for your help, it's nice to know someone is reading this :-)  I do work around this by saving the files and reopening them in the next program I need but everyone in class is always waiting on me, (it sucks) and I just think it should work.  Hope you have a good day and I will put an update on here if this is ever figured out.

  • Are the Adobe Servers down? My CC update stalls at 6% and says my computer can't connect to the servers - Adobe help was an absolute joke trying to help.

    Tried using Adobe's "support team" to help figure this out. What an absolute waste of time. The clown was literally reading off a script and wouldn't answer me when I asked if the servers were down. Creative cloud installer won't update. Stalls at 6% and gives me an error. Error code 207. This is ridiculous. I can't download any programs. It won't update CC... good move with this cloud garbage Adobe. This is beyond frustrating.
    Thanks for the awesome day of getting absolutely nothing done Adobe! Can't wait to hear it from my boss about no productivity today.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. The Adobe.com team is working on their infrastructure. Investigation this evening (CET) showed that one server for adobe.com was causing issue. Mainly visitors to adobe.com from Europe were affected by this. The webops team has rerouted the traffic and the components should be downloadable again. I am trying from the Netherlands and downloads are working for me again.

  • How can I stop Adobe Photo down loader from making a backup file for every photo I download?

    I use Adobe Elements for post shooting photo image processing.  Everytime I sownload a day;s photography the software saves not only my original photo file but adds a back up file.  thus I am storing twice as many photographs as I alredy have the original .  How do I stop this.

    The problem is that I want to initialize data in the init method of the view and want to display those data in diferent drop down lists.
    If I understood good, I must create an value node in my context : lets say Company. In Company, I define 2 value attributes like CompanyCode and CompanyName.
    Now, I fill data in that node and attach this node to the datasource of the interactive form.
    Now, what should I do if I have another node like Material. Is there a way to attach few nodes in the same datasource of the interactive form ?

    This is the error.  I have an appointment this afternoon with our IT to see if it is at our end—this is what the Adobe Tech recommended.

  • Adobe Systems Down?

    I'm just wondering what's going on. First, I became aware that my Photoshop CS2 was experiencing an error and required a reinstall which I can't seem to make happen. Now, it's the same thing with my Illustrator CS2. I realize that Adobe is experiencing company-wide enhancements throughout this week. Is there a connection? Will my programs work again by next week? Seriously, I don't know what to make of this except it's a major inconvenience to say the least. I don't see how Adobe could get away with this.

    OK, so basically, I get an error message while using Photoshop and all it says is "An error has occurred. You will need to reinstall Photoshop." I go about trying to do this. I delete Photoshop CS2 from my power pc mac min. I also go ahead and delete Bridge and the Help Center. I proceed to reinstall and it appears to work fine right to the end when it says, "An error has occurred. A file did not go through. Please try again." I've tried quite a few times and gone through a time of frustration with this. Now, I'm ready to solve the problem. Whatever you recommend, I'd be more than happy to consider. Thanks.

  • Adobe forums down for major upgrade this weekend

    The Adobe user-to-user forums will  be offline this weekend, starting at 6PM (Pacific time) tonight (Friday  night), 16September2011.
    During the downtime, the forum software will be upgraded. We expect to be back online on Sunday afternoon.
    There  will not be a lot of cosmetic or feature changes to the forums, but we  do expect to see better stability and performance. There are also a  number of bug fixes, including the rich text editor (random line  breaks). We will also be introducing new features in the near term  future (documents and polls). And we will have a number of new video  tutorials about using the forums.

    Two observations.
    The pop-up flyout that appears when the cursor is hovered over
    a user's profile name would previously display only the threads
    that were initiated by that user, now all of the user's recent activity
    is displayed instead.
    Adding the reply that the original poster has designated as the
    'correct answer' to the original post is an interesting function,
    but it can be detrimental for a user who may not read the subsequent
    responses that provide more complete (and often better) information
    regarding the problem in question.
    A skimmer may only read the original post with the 'correct' response, and
    not gain the benefit of of the nuance and corrections that usually follow.
    Also, it is often the case that the OP does not recognize a response as
    incomplete or not entirely incorrect, and designates the post as 'correct'
    anyway.
