Try this:
1. Go to your Flash Settings Panel by going to this URL:
<http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/se ttings_manager.html>
2.  Select the Global Storage Settings Panel tab or select it from the  Settings Manager column on the left hand side of your page.
3. Make sure that "Store common Flash components to reduce download times." is checked.
I tried that and it still didn't work but I changed the option( in Global Storage Panel settings) to allow more content to be stored from 100k to 10 mbytes and it worked.
Thanks GO932

  • PSE 8 Tutorials Not Playing

Attempted to play one of the PSE 8 tutorials by Jan Kibili (sic) under the "help" section of the toolbar.  Title and subject came up but the video would not play.  Logged into Adobe TV and still wouldn't play.  With PSE 9 out, did Adobe delete these tutorials or do I need to update something else on my PC (Windows XP)?

  • Adobe Bridge CC not playing After Effects CC animations

    Hello,
I am fairly new to After Effects and Adobe Bridge, and I recently ran into a problem.
So, when I turn on After Effects , and in the Effects Panel , I click "Browse Presets", and then It opens Adobe Bridge. But when I single-click in any kind of an animation in Bridge, it's not playing it in the "Preview" panel.
The little Windows's "picture icon" just starts zoomed in, and then it quickly zooms out.
I'm using a freshly installed Windows 8.1 , and fully updated Bridge and After Effects.
    What might be the problem?
If you want, I could also record the problem with a screen recorder and upload it to YouTube.
EDIT : I just fixed the problem by updating Bridge to the latest version (CC 6.1)!
The animations are playing smoothly without any problems! Just run the Adobe Update Manager, and update
               Bridge!

The problem i am having is that on the adobe tv website, i am able to view some videos via the flash player and atv player, yet others will not play at all. the player simply shows 3 white dots that appear to be loading, but never do. i have adjusted all of my flash player settings and checked all of my browser settings as advised in the flash player management support files, and the problem is still happening. help!

    Hi everyone,
I had the same problem. Flash would load fine on most sites and with most browsers (I use FF, Chrome, Opera, Safari & IE). So I guessed the problem was probably on Adobe side. Not sure if it is, but it seems to be.
This particular post helped me out. http://en.ricardodelgado.net/en/general/hackish-workaround-solution-to-get-adobe-tv-workin g
Basically what he is saying is:
    - look in the source of the page where you expect the video to be (search for "embed" or "object type")
    - first  copy the src value to a text editor (looks like this: "http://images.tv.adobe.com/cdn/swf/player.swf?1302300645130". you can skip everything after the questionmark)
    - second copy the value from the flashvars to the texteditor (looks like this: "fileID=1371&context=106&embeded=false&mode=11&environment=production&updateJS=500&jsChapte r=changeTime&captionDefault=false")
    - make sure you have a question mark in between the two values so you end up with something like this:
    http://urltowheretheflashfileislocated.swf?fileID=1371&context=106&embeded=false&mode=11&environment=production&updateJS=500&jsChapte r=changeTime&captionDefault=false
copy this and paste directly into the browser. hope this helps you too

  • Adobe flash does not play in Firefox on my tablet under android 3.2. WHY

samsung Tab 10.1 android 3.2 , Ihave installed my preferd browser Firefox.
When i am forced to use the generic android browser adobe flash content plays properly, when using Firefox. adobe flash does not and it asks for a plugin to be installed, to date i have not been able tp locate the flash plugin for firfox in android 3.2. Is there any help for this??

Originally, Firefox Mobile was not going to support binary plugins, just pure web code, but they had a change of heart and plan to add it in the next major release. Not sure whether the following is up to date -- it refers to Firefox 13 Aurora, which may be a beta by now:

  • Adobe TV Does Not Play

Read them all. None of the suggestions help.
    Uninstalled / reinstalled FP.
    Emptied cache.
    Deleted plugins. Reinstalled.
Reset FP settings and Global settings.
    Uninstalled VirusBarrier.
    Turned on and off firewalls.
IMac with latest OS + 16 gig RAM.
Latest Safari and Flash Player. (Uninstalled, restarted iMac, reinstalled)
Here's the kicker. BEFORE, Adobe TV was working fine. Still does on my MacBook Pro (i5).
Then one day... No more Adobe TV lunch breaks. Adobe TV pages sit with a black box.
It will not connect to stream video.
    Help!

Michael here's what I discovered. FOR WHATEVER REASON... when Flash Player 11.3.x installed via the automated version update check. It whiped out the settings neccesary for the Adobe TV to work.
Here's what I did. And it worked.
    1. Uninstall Flash Player 11 from your computer.
    2. Restart your computer to get a clean start.
    3. Find Flash Player 10.x. Most likely in your Adobe CS 5 or CS 5.5 folders. INSTALL IT.
    4. Now open an Adobe TV video. RIGHT CLICK the screen. Select GLOBAL SETTINGS from the menu.
    5. The Adobe Flash Player Help Page is launched.
    6. Select from the side menu – Global Storage Settings panel.
    7. Check both boxes in the control panel window. (SEE IMAGES BELOW)
    8. Select the Global Security Settings panel. Add the two to be trusted. (I did this for good measure.)
Then my Adobe TV videos started playing again.
The FLASH Updater popped up again to install 11.3.
To see if I was dreaming... I allowed it to install 11.3.
It did. And you guessed it... NO MORE Adobe TV!
I could not find a setting for a Global Settings link through 11.3 nor the same settings regarding allow 3rd Party storage to memory.
    SO...
    I followed steps 1 - 8 again.
BAM! I'm back in Adobe TV Land again.
Hope my painstakenly learned knowledge and wisdom helps you out. Pass it on!
There's too many people out there struggling with this and honestly, Adobe hasn't been much help with it.

  • Adobe TV will not play

Recently purchased new Mac (OSX 10.7.4).  Running Adobe Lightroom 4 for photography workflow and digital darkroom/post-production. Would like to watch LR tutorials on Adobe TV, which are very helpful.  No problem watching them on youtube, but not all of Adobe's LR tutorials are available there.
Installed JRE, then Flash (11), still not working.  Set JRE to try 32bit first, then 64bit, still not working.  Not working with Safari (5.1.7) or Chrome, however, Adobe TV does play on my other Mac (OSX 10.3) on same LAN subnet, behind same router port.
    Anyone have a solution?

  • Adobe Audition will not play audio

After using Adobe Audition for a number of years I recently imported an audio file to edit but it won't play. I have rebooted, run only Audition and tried different audio files without success. What can I do?

I have reinstalled Audition and set the preferences to other hardware (both audio and cache) and it is working this morning. Not exactly sure what made it work (although I did say a brief prayer before trying it one more time this morning) but it is working.
Thank you for your help in working through the issue – it is much appreciated.

  • Adobe edge animation not playing properly on Google Chrome

hi, just noticed this. finishing up my website    http://www.thomasdrotardesign.com/work.html
i've just noticed that the edge animation plays the beginning of the animation then disappears completely except for a font here and there on Google Chrome.
it plays perfectly across all the other browsers. any idea what is going on here.
there is nothing nested. it is a straight time line. i am building it on a mac osX 10.9.4

DISCOVERY     the reason adobe edge animation  and google don't play well together is because if you use any sort of filter on your typography this will not appear on the chrome browser. sad but true. once i removed all the blur filters off my animations they started playing perfectly on chrome. this is too bad in that chrome is the largest used browser out there. thank you Redesign for your suggestion.

Hi Terry, What version of Flash Player are you using? You should be able to tell by going to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ Does it happen in browsers? Could you test in Safari, Firefox and Chrome? What happens when you try to play them? Is it possible to post a screen shot? Thanks, -Dave

  • Certain flash movies will not play - including Adobe TV movies with Dreamweaver tutorials

For months, certain .swf movies will not play.  No error, won't even load the player.  I thought it was because of IE8 which I installed several months ago.  Now I loaded Firefox and Opera and the movies still do not play in those browsers either.  At least I get an error message "TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference".
I have newly installed Dreamweaver CS4 and when I launch it, there are links to Adobe TV videos.  These will not play.  Here is an example of a video that will not play: http://tv.adobe.com/watch/inside-the-dreamlabs/dreamweaver-cs4-live-preview/
I have googled the error but the results seem to be developers talking about code in Action Script 3.
Can someone please help?  I have spent hours trying to get this resolved.
My Flash Player version is 10,0,45,2 and I had the issue when I was at 10,0,32 whatever as well.

Ya, it's a very old post.  This forum actually has a very high response rate (more than 90%+) thanks to people like Pat, Carl and Xircal who volunteer their time and knowledge to help the community.

Adobe Premiere CC 2014, regularly licensed (Mac Pro early 2008, Mac OSX 10.9.5, Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB).
    Hi guys,
since the CC2014 version of Premiere has been released (on Creative Cloud) I'm experiencing - really often - the MEDIA PENDING (yellow background) issue... even if the clip can be found right clicking and selecting "reveal in finder" or "reveal in project", in the timeline the clip can't be played. Not to mention the many many problems the app is causing stopping working suddenly and obligating me to restart the system to have it regularly working again (usually it stops reproducing the video, only the audio stays alive, but the playhead seems freezes there where I left it).
One more problem: all the app (and customized) keyboard shortcuts are gone. Totally disappeared (this happened just after the last update, CC v8.1 Caravan. Synching from CC was unsuccessful.
Please don't suggest me to contact the adobe italian service to have an help... the last time (almost the same problem) they just made me lose time with some basic procedure checks that I knew were not leading me anywhere.
I ask sorry for my polemic tone, it's a few months that Adobe Premiere is not working anymore as before. And you can't immagine how many hours I've lost.
    Thank you very much,
    My best regards,
    Stefano Bianchi.

Guys, would you suggest me a new graphic card (in case, which model on this Mac - would be great a 4 or 6 MB VRAM GPU) or a new Mac Pro? This is still a great machine, but it's starting becoming unusable due to this Premiere issue (that is day by day more severe).
Thanks a lot for any suggestion,
