Adobe Typekit Issue

I can't seem to sign into Adobe Typekit with my Creative Cloud account... Anybody have any ideas as to why this may be happening? I've checked to be sure that my plan includes Typekit and it does. I'm using a Macbook Pro.

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. It sounds like this might be due to the cookie setting in your browser. The Typekit website uses cookies from Adobe.com and the sign in will not work if you have third-party cookies blocked in the browser. If this is turned on in your browser, add these domain names as an exception to the privacy setting: *.adobe.com and *.adobelogin.com.

Adobe Typekit Issues With Illustrator

Hi,
I'm working in Illustrator and trying to select a font (Proxima Nova) that I had already added through Adobe Typekit. However, when I go to select it in my Character Panel it's not there. I then tried to add it using Typekit but it says it's already installed. Anyone have any idea what is going on and how to resolve it?

Adobe Typekit in the new Creative Cloud is not syncing any fonts, Any suggestions?

In the last version of Creative Cloud, Adobe Typekit worked perfectly. Now, I have a ton of documents using Typekit fonts and they won't sync. Does anyone know why?

Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

Adobe TV Issues on Mac

I first asked this question in the Lounge (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3988002) and it was suggested that I try here.
Sorry if this isn't the right location for this posting, but I couldn't see any specific section for Adobe TV issues.
We seem to be having issues with Adobe TV on Macs where the video never loads.
This has been tested with OS X 10.6 and 10.7 and using Firefox 4, 5, 6 and 7 and Safari 5.
The video's load fine using PC's on our corporate network with Firefox so I know it isn't our proxy server configuration.
The advert before the video will load and I get the countdown to when the video will start, but the video never does start and the time at the bottom left is always at 00:00.
The only thing I can think of is that this is a permissions issue as our Mac users do need to enter proxy login credentials to get to the internet, but there is no pop-up login box or any other error message being displayed.
I spotted this question http://forums.adobe.com/message/3113557#3113557 about someone who was having issues with AdobeTV on their iMac.
I've tried changing the Flash settings, but this has made no difference.
If anyone can help me figure out what's going on, I'd be very grateful.

Your problem seems to be related with video. Are you able to see any youtube video on Mac?

I have tried many things to try to install it and I have been unsucessful. Please help I have windows 8 64bit.

This did not resolve my issue, it actually made things worse. I did what
you had told me to do below, and it did not work. Tried to access the
internet to respond back to you and my computer was not able to reach the
internet. Tried reaching adobe support and not was able to, even tried
calling was on the phone for 20 minutes and no one answered. I was not able
to re install windows. Contacted Asus from another computer and they were
not able to help me reinstall windows They had asked me to ship my computer
back to them, due to them not being able to resolve the issue and help me
reinstall windows. I luckily had a backup on my external hard drive and was
able to reinstall windows 8. Spent over an hour and half trying to fix
that. Here I am still not able to install adobe reader. I was very unhappy
with what I was told to do and it gave me this issue.
· Open an Administrator command prompt: Right-click Start > All Programs >
Accessories > Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator. Click Allow
for the elevation prompt
· In the command prompt, type the command below:
fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
The line above assumes that C: is the drive in which Vista is installed. If
it is installed on another drive like D:, change the drive letter
appropriately.
· Restart the system.
· Install Acrobat or Adobe Reader again.

Using Adobe TypeKit with AWS Elastic Beanstalk

We're working on a prototype website using AWS Elastic Beanstalk and trying to use an Adobe typekit font on it. I have registered the EB URL with the typekit I registered. The font works well for about an hour, then disappears. Does TypeKit block Elastic Beanstalk URLs from using fonts? The actual URL is FGL CALCULATOR TESTS. I registered the URL "fglcalculatorwebser-env.elasticbeanstalk.com" in the typekit. Did I do something wrong?

Adobe typekit javascript added in html, but fonts are not loading/showing on browser

I have a set of fonts selected in adobe typekit, after i have used the embedded code within the html file, i still don't see any fonts being displayed/shown on browser. This is for the fluidlayout am working on for a website using dremweaver.
The "boilerplate.css" has it's own fonts mentioned, but this has got anything to do with the fonts am using from adobe typekit?

This is Ben from Typekit support. Typekit can be used locally. However there are some necessary steps that if left out, will cause the fonts not to render. In order to use Typekit locally, you've got to:
1. Be running a local server when testing your site in the browser. You can tell if you're running a local server by the URL of the local site. If it starts with: file:// then you are just viewing the local file in a browser and not running it from a local server.
If the local URL starts with: http:// then you're running a local server.
2. The domain of your local server has to be part of the domain list in your Kit. So, if your local server uses: localhost, you'll need to add this to your Kit's domains.
Note also that Typekit won't preview in DW's live mode. You'll need to preview the site in the browser in order for the fonts to work.

Tools: Adobe Connect , Office 2010 and Adobe Presenter

Just to be clear, I took your words to mean you are on the latest version of Safari, but are you also on the latest version of Flash? Go to System Preferences -> Flash Player and compare the version number to what is available to download for your computer on the Adobe Flash webpage. A few questions to consider: does the issue persist in other browsers? What model computer are you using specifically and are you equipped to handle the tasks you are looking to perform?

As a Realtor I can't access documents on our ARMLS web site, the tech support say it is an adobe reader issue?

For some reason, suddenly I can't access the documents tab on our ARMLS web site. I called Tech support for the Flex web site and they say they can open the tab and read the docs fine.
They are saying it is an Adobe issue on my computer. I un installed adobe and reloaded but the same result.

Yes, I just changed my browser to Internet Explorer and same result, I
still can not read any PDF documents loaded to this site.
I have not tried un installing adobe but that is next, then reinstalling
while in Explorer.

About a month ago I started as a new member of Creative Cloud, the apps are working fine, but I still get the "comming soon" message for the "File Sync" service and the Adobe Typekit. When am I going to be able to use these features? Is there something I have to do to "enable" it?

I am trying to download the epub book to my Overdrive app (which is authorize to download epub books) on my iPad to read.
Reply from Overdrive mentioned that this is Adobe server issue.

Problems with Adobe Typekit

Hello,
I am trying to get fonts from Typekit to work across browsers and I am having difficulties. I am trying to use Trajan Pro 3 on a site and the fonts are not rendering properly in Chrome & Firefox on the PC. The reason I am using Typekit is to solve this problem without using Google.
Thus far I am not impressed with the Typekit Editor interface or methodology, but that aside it does not seem to work. The site in question is here:

This is a sample site I want to make live in a few days and I cannot get the font to render properly in Chrome and FF on the PC yet it seems to work everywhere else.
Any thoughts?

I'm sorry for not going into more detail in my reply: this was meant to demonstrate that the font files are working correctly. Here is the same screenshot from Chrome on Windows 7, for your comparison:
(Again, with the text size increased to show that it is Trajan Pro 3.)
If the font still doesn't load for you, it would be helpful if you would provide a page that uses Trajan Pro 3 by default so that the Typekit team can more easily debug the display issue.
Unrelated to the loading issues, you will likely see rendering artifacts in Trajan Pro 3 at 14px. Typekit serves Trajan Pro 3 with PostScript outlines for smooth rendering at large sizes on Windows, as explained in this blog post:

Although lots of designers use Trajan at smaller sizes, it wasn't designed to be used that way. If you check out the browser samples for Trajan Pro 3, you will see the there are rendering issues in Windows below about 30px: https://typekit.com/fonts/trajan-pro-3#browser-samples
You might try something like Minion instead. See the example (with code) in that same blog post.
Or, if Minion Pro is not to your liking, there similar serifs in the library that are recommended for paragraph use:

These fonts that have been hand-picked by Typekit's staff for their technical and aesthetic excellence, and they render excellently across all browsers and devices, including Windows.

Adobe CS issues on MacBook Pro

I am unable to open my Adobe Reader 7.0 (crashes upon opening) and am not able to have more than one of the CS2 applications open at the same time without one of them crashing. Anyone else run into this issue? Is this a mac issue or an adobe one? please advise.
