Adobe Updater keeps doing the same update (CS4 Air 1.5)
Every time I run Adobe Updater it finds the same 100 Mb update - Flash 10.0.0.1 Adobe AIR 1.5 Update. Then, it downloads it and installs it. It notifies me that the installing process was completed. But when I run the Adobe Updater again, there is the same update. And it just goes on and on. I've even tried logging in as root and running the updater in case it needs to modify something outside normal bounds but it didn't help.
Does anyone have suggestions as to where the problem might be? I know some of you really prefer to install everything manually but I'm still considering that the last resort - if I can get the automatic updater to work, I'm a happy camper again!

The update will not affect the splash screen or About Page
version number.
For a quick check you can try creating an AIR package or an
AIR preview. If everything works smooth then the installation would
have been a success.
The other details related to installation on a Mac should be
seen on all other Adobe app and not restricted to Fireworks alone.

Software Update Keeps Installing the Same Update
This past week Software Update installed Pro Applications Update 2008-04. Every day since then it tells me that the same update is available. I must have installed it 3 times by now but Software Update still says it needs to be installed. I even downloaded and installed it. The receipts look like they get created fine (ProAppsEffects.pkg and PluginManager.pkg). I don't want to "ignore" this update because I want this update and all future updates. How can I make Software Update stop trying to reinstall this update ?
Here is install.log. The blank line is between where it checked for updates and found the Pro Applications update and when I clicked to install it. I do see a JavaScript error but I'm not sure what that means.

2012 R2 CAU keeps installing the same update.
I am trying to CAU a 12 node cluster with WIN2012R2.
CAU keeps installing the same update on same node for several KB2461484.
I tried several times to update the same node through CAU and windows Update along with rebooting the node but nothing changes.
When I run CAU it always picks same node and tries to install the same update.

If you are using WSUS please confirm you have approve this update to your cluster nodes, if you are using WUA please try to install the update manually then monitor the issue
again.

I had a similar problem and after deleting endlessly...and weeks of frustration I (without even realizing what I was on to) deleted my text messages. I had been letting them add up since it seemed easier to text someone if it were readily available. Needless to say, I ended up with nearly double the space/memory available.

I tried to get rid of my jailbreak things like restoring my whole phone. It didn't work. Now it keeps showing the photo to connect to itunes so I did. It said to restore so I did. and it keeps doing the same thing over and over and over and over again. How do I fix it?
Your phone is toast. Contrary to what the lovely folks in the jalibreaking community say, attempting to restore the iPhone to "factory" condition does not always remove the jailbreak. You'll need to contact those bozos and see if they can help you.
Hint: start saving for a new phone. -
Reader 9.4 keeps suggesting the same update
I have installed Reader 9.4. The "Update Available" icon keeps appearing in my system tray and keeps installing the same security update. I assume it's the same update because this has happened numerous times today. Also when I initiate a search for updates from the Help menu in Reader it always shows an update available. What can I do to eliminate the duplicate notifications?

I have a mac pro desktop and it won't boot up, it keeps freezing at the circle and then appears to be loading and then it shuts off. I've turned it off and disconnected everything and reconnect and it does the same thing.
I wasn't aware PRAM batteries did any charging
Apple has used rechargeable batteries for volatile storage for some time.
and just 'held' information in NVRAM and PRAM when needed and there was no power coming in
I can't see data held in NVRAM/PRAM doing something like keeping time without some power. One can't assume a permanent Internet connection to update it when the system is turned on now can we?
I assume it is on a 1000VA UPS that has good battery and fully charged too, and didn't discharge during the vacation
If the UPS was turned off it's as good as being totally unplugged so it may well have still been at 100% upon return. There's no power delivery when the UPS is off remember. -
TVSU Keeps installing the same update, so does WUS
TVSU keeps trying to install the same Nvidia update. Windows update also tried to install an Nvidia update. After installing over and over again the update from TVSU I went ahead and installed the WUS Nvidia update and the update was 305.46. The darn Nvidia update via tvsu keeps showing up as well. Both before and after installing the Nvidia update via WUS.
So I installed the Windows update and no 3D. It also still shows the Lenovo Nvidia drivers are installed. So I reinstalled the Lenovo drivers that still show up and continue to show up under TVSU. Also the Nvidia update under WUS is still showing up. Can someone fix this? Sheesh.Go to Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist and delete that file. Restart and test your SU. Let us know.

I updated my iTunes and an error message popped up and now I can't get into my iTunes account on my computer? It says to reinstall which I did and it still has the same message? Anyone else have this problem and how can I fix it????

Keep getting the same update message
This is the message we keep getting:
An update is required to use Folio Builder. Please click here to download the Folio Producer tools.
We have installed this update but Folio Builder still produces this message.Still struggling with this and quite frankly this is getting frustrating to the point where I'm losing confidence in Adobe Support.
Spent hours today with them trying to uninstall, re-install, setup new user accounts, all to no avail.
I followed the process they outlined to completely uninstall all Adobe Services, caches, and preferences (shown below). I did all this, and...
1. Re-installed just InDesign CS6 from Adobe Creative Cloud Account Manager.
2. Then went to Help -> Update, Installed DPS tools as instructed, and still got the "update is required" message shown above.
3. I've clicked that link, exited InDesign, downloaded file from the New Downloads section...

4. Ran patch file and completed update
5. Restarted, opened InDesign. Still get greeted to that pesky "update is required" message when I try to launch Folio Builder.
Is Adobe working on a fix for this? This can't just be affecting me.

Why is Firefox Nightly always doing the same Update 10.0a1 (2011-10-30) every two days???
you nightly version is always doing a repeat of the following Update: (Version 10.0a1 (2011-10-30) almost every two days. The update is applied correct and status has been given.
If you continue to Test the Nightly channel builds then next week this time will probably have the version number itself change to 11.0a1after move/merge on the channels.
The 64-bit builds on Windows are still only Tier-2 builds so they are not as much of a priority as regular builds. One of the main reasons for these builds are for to help catch breakage as it is possible to break the 64-bit but not 32-bit builds. Originally it was just Linux nightlies that had 64-bit builds (over three years ago) as they were only really for to test breakage and such. -
How to use the updated value in the same update statement
Hello,
I just wonder how to use the updated new value of other column in the same udpate statement. I am using Oracle 11.2, and want to update the two columns with one update statement as following:
create table tb_test (id number(5), tot number(5), mon_tot number(5));
update tb_test set (tot = 15, mon_tot = tot *15) where id = 1;
...I would like to update both tot and mon_tot column, the value of mon_tot shall be determinted by the new value of tot.

Firefox keeps opening at the last visited site; even though the option for the home page are set to open at google/firefox. I have changed the option also to blank page but still the same results.
Make sure that you close Firefox properly to prevent session restore from restoring the previous session automatically.

Set the pref [http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes] to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first restart after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.

Also i got to mention at GPO level I changed my WSUS Server GPO for a new one, i built a new server 2008 and updated the GPO on my Group Policy Management console. first of all my new server did not start and still picking up any computers.
