Adobe Updater Wants To Update Reader 9 Which I Don't Have
The Adobe updater program on my Mac keeps up popping up asking me to update Reader v9 which I do not have any longer as I am running the latest version of Reader. How do I get rid of this annoying reminder? I don't want to turn off auto update checking since that will affect my current installed Reader. I'm running on OS X 10.6.

It seems like my app store have a new update about an app which I don't have on my computer. when I tried to update it app store wants a password for [email protected] this account and also the application is Angry Birds but I really don't have it on my computer?

Hello, how to disable the long horizontal Mozilla yellow strip, popping up and reminding us constantly to "update a plugin", which we don't want to update.
Disabling the ones below:
1/ plugins.update.notify User;true
2/ plugin.scan.plid.all;true
3/ dom.ipc.plugins.enabled;false
either does not help or disables completely Flash! What else to do with this ultra annoying "Update plugins" reminder, as we want to keep the older version 10 of Flash? We just do not want Flash v. 11 - it takes huge amount of CPU, while Version 10 works fine for all 'you tube" and "etc"... videos. No need for V.11. (Let us worry about viruses and security) But here it comes the so annoying Mozilla reminder to upgrade to Flash Version 11 - the yellow strip also takes screen space under the address bar. Please help. Very annoying - almost ready to switch to other browsers if this issue is not resolve. Other than that, the Mozilla 14 is great. Congratulations to all designing it. Thanks in advance. Bridge 5.0.2.4 with camera RAW 8.4.0.199 ON a MAC 10.10.1. Trying to update to camera RAW 8.7 to get my canon 7dMK2 raw files to work. But the updater say I have the latest update! Witch I clearly don't have . And my Photoshop have to different camera RAW plug-ins. The old 8.4 and the new 8.7. But it doesn't work. Have removed and reinstalled several times. What is going on? If this is for the Remore Desktop Client Update then you do have it - it's built in to OSX and is used when you want to use VNC clients.
If it's for Apple Remote Desktop then is't for the Admin App that drives the above client and is a paid for product. If you didn't buy this then it shouldn't appear. If it has lucky you!

Since I have the newest version of itunes, I can't back up like normally. The only way is to considilate files and then put them on an external drive which I don't have. Are there any other options? If I can't back up to a disc like I used to, can I instead just keep everything on my ipod and then if I have to get a new computer or something just download all my songs from the ipod to my new computer's itunes? Will that work? Will I still be able to keep all my songs that way?
I'm going to assume the consolidating files does not work due to hard drive space limitations.
Since you're moving to Windows 7, have you tried using the Windows files and settings transfer utility? That will move everything for you to the same location on the new computer, it also allows some control over what actually gets moved.
Alternatively, if you know the location of all of the media, it can be manually moved by copying it from the old computer to the new computer in the same location.
Also, using the Apple article on moving the library, take a slight twist on what it says. Move the iTunes library to the external drive, update the settings in iTunes to reflect the library being on the external drive, then consolodate it.
The options are endless for moving the library... it simply takes a little effort to make it happen and possibly a twist on existing "standard" methods depending on your unique situation.
