Well, Steve, I do participate in both Illustrator forums, but I'm not going to collect all those threads which could possibly help any wall to improve its future versions of Illustrator.
Had Adobe been at least a little bit smart, they would already have hired at least one regular observer whose task is just that: Observe the forums and report what's going wrong with that crumbling Illustrator.
There is enough to read right here in the forum and there is a whole dunghill full of valid criticism, composed by many experienced users, probably far more experienced than any senior member of that Adobe User Research Company. I don't know, perhaps the wall is doing that already, perhaps occasionally, but I do not see any feedback in the forums, nor do I see many noteworthy improvements in Illustrator over the past 8 years. Of course, from version to version, there are new features and some of them aren't that bad at all, but considering the programme as a whole, it reminds me more and more of a building that has got way too many mazy floors, although it's quite obvious that this mess of a builing has to first be knocked down, then be rebuild.
I hope you will get some success with your plan, Steve, but I'm afraid it's a kind of waste of time. Sorry, and please don't get it wrong.
As a side note to Tim Toy:
How about a little bit of feedback so far? And how about thinking about if it would possibly a good idea to not only do your user researches inside the United States? Perhaps a so-called global player like Adobe should act like a global player and show a little bit more respect for its global customers.
And while we're at it, just another side note: How about reconsidering your current pricing policy outside the United States of America? I hope you, Adobe, actually knows that it is an incredible brazenness and that many loyal customers over here simply do not accept that policy which is very often read as a dirty rip-off.

    I have a friend who used the service and it was when it was first set up. I unfortunately had told him about the scheme. I saw his phone before he packaged it carefully and sent it off when he was offered £190 for his iPhone. Good price at the time and no worries about selling it on with the problems that could cause issues further down the line.Offer reduced to £85 due to dead pixels on the screen and cosmetic damage. As I say, I saw the phone, absolutely perfect but he wanted the latest Apple offering and I told him to get the phone back and sell it on eBay or amazon. It came back with a big scratch on the back which I think was probably done out of spite.I vowed then never to use them or recommend to anyone due to the guilt I felt. Terrible, terrible company and why they were given a new contract defies logic.Well you did ask.....

  • Hey Verizon I want to hear from you on this

    Ok, so we all know the droid x has issues with wifi connections. You can connect to a router, obtain an IP and yet you still cannot go online.  Well I was assured by the friendly rep I talked to at verizon that when I got the update to my phone it would fix the problem.  Well last night I was able to update my phone to the 2.3.15 release.  I noticed some of my buttons, and icons have changed but guess what. Wifi still doesnt work.  So Verizon I would like to know why I would want a phone that is supposed to give me wifi access to the internet  (I am talking about connecting to a router not hot spot) but does not work correctly?  The only answer I have ever been given is that I need to change the settings on my router. Yeah well thats not acceptable especially when I should be able to connect to public hot spots.   Now I really hope to get an answer from someone that actually knows what they are talking about. Because from my experience its luck of the draw when you call whether or not you get someone technically savvy enough to even understand this problem.   I am starting to find this whole thing really frustrating and wondering if I didnt just screw myself by not returning this phone within the 30 day trial period.

As a matter of fact the only devices I have seen not work are droid x's.   Should i call my IT department and tell them that they need to reboot their routers because my Verizon droid X isn't capable of doing what it should?  Or ask Mcdonalds and Startbucks to do the same? 
    I dont mean to come off as being sarcastic, and I appreciate your comments but I know this has been an issue from the get go, I have spent a lot of time researching this online. I know specifically how I could fix the issue by going into router settings but that shouldnt have to be the case.  And the only responses I have ever seen from verizon is "well why would you need wifi if you have 3g"  "Froyo will fix that"  "change your router settings"  Somehow I feel like verizon, or Motorolla whomever would be responsible for this, have really dropped the ball with this issue and personally I am fed up with the lack of corporate america giving two{word filter avoidance} about customer satisfaction. I have dropped enough money into verizon over the past 10 years as a customer and instead of getting answers to my issue with wifi they send me a freaking t-shirt.  I wouldnt even have this phone if it werent for the what I thought was a very knowledgeable phone sales person that really sold me on the product with numerous claims of what the x does. Now I am dissapointed to say I have found 1 too many droid does nots to keep quiet.
    no one expects you to keep quiet....but why don't you just send it back for a replacement instead of all this?  If what was explained to you as a fix doesn't work then send it back.
    As for VZW not caring about customer satisfaction...definately not true.  Just because it's a large corp it does not make it evil.  I work for a very large international company and customer care is very important.

    The last thing I read was that Lightroom although included in CC will remain a standalone product - this link should help, to quote a bit:

    The standard iPhone warranty does not cover accidental damage. Apple will fix it, but they will charge the full repair cost.
    The AppleCare+ warranty for the phone, which you can buy within 30 days of the iPhone purchase, does cover two incidents of accidental damage and repairs are charged at $75 I believe.
    Your carrier warranty, if you have one, may cover accidental damage - check with them.

    Only your friend can unlock it, either by giving you his Apple ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices - please see:

    There is no way at all it can be unlocked without his doing this.

  • Let's hear from YOU on your S5 & 5.0 update, normal, not working, I'm in trouble?

    From reading the Verizon forum and some blogs, Verizon customer's may have a headache or with S5 and dare I say it...Android 5.0.  What is you story, big problem or just what you wanted? Keep it short or go into details but please only proven facts..no I think, could be or maybe.  So what's your true story to tell after the first wave of updating? I think this could help all of us on the forum, Verizon and Google to build a better system together.

    download & install of both parts to lock-screen was 30 min & completed when the upgrade was available the 2nd..
    music, pics & a few apps on sd have "0" issues, internet's fast & battery life's the same.
    i don't like the white background in several places & that's the only negative comment i have about the 5.0 update.
    i made a post a few min after the install shortly after the install completed & i checked several functions mentioning the same things i said in this post.
    perhaps i have no issues because i don't have a bunch of worthless apps that continually update, drawing on the battery.

    I am not sure why a page would reload when you are using it unless the reload button is clicked.
    However there is a feature that you can turn on to warn you when you are about to navigate away from a page.
    Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

    There is no way to update iOS above 4.2.1 on a 3G. It has a different processor from the later models. Not even sure how you got 4.3 on it. Time for a new phone?

    you can have a differend apple ID signed into the iTunes and App stores than you do signed into iCloud and even iMessage/facetime. So, you can have up to 3 different Apple IDs signed into the device at one time. If you wish to do so.
